I moved to Sidney from the Chicago area approximately 2 years ago and was looking for a place to workout. I happened to hear about The Barn on a news station and immediately looked it up.
From the day I contacted Katie to now, I cannot be any happier with my workouts.
I went from one on one sessions with Katie to working out at 5:30 PM 3x per week with the best group of ladies!!
Katie makes workouts fun and challenges you when she knows that you can do something even if you have doubts. The Barn is a very comfortable environment and everyone is so friendly. Katie takes time to work with you individually to ensure you are performing workouts correctly and encourages you to perform at your highest.
I highly recommend The Barn to anyone looking for a great workout venue.

I've been working out at The Barn for just over a year and couldn't be more thrilled with my experience! Katie is kind, thoughtful, and incredibly knowledgeable about fitness. I've never considered myself an athletic (or coordinated!) person and have always gravitated to running for that reason. But working out at The Barn has really shifted my perspective: lifting weights has helped me feel so much stronger, and I've noticed not just a difference in my body composition, but in how I move in my day-to-day life.

Katie has a great approach to fitness and weight lifting, and she does an incredible job of explaining movements and correcting form. And, she always keeps things interesting. Whether it's introducing new movements, adding more weight, or switching up the format, I can always count on her to help me progress my fitness in a safe but effective way.

I value the time I spend each week with Katie, and can't recommend The Barn enough!

I started going to The Barn Fitness in September, mostly at the urging of my daughter. I joined the small group and go 2x per week. I am always intimidated by new things but Katie and the ladies were so welcoming and encouraging that I was looking forward to each class. I am very thankful and happy i made the choice to try out The Barn and Coach Katie. She is very punctual and always has a great training plan made up well in advance. The Barn offered a youth class throughout the summer that my 12 year old attended. I loved that it kept her active in her off season, as well as, helping her increase in strength, speed, agility. My 6th grade son plays travel baseball during the spring and summer and basketball in the winter. I was looking for a place where he could workout in the fall between sports to focus on building strength as well as speed and agility. The Barn provides a great environment to learn the fundamentals of strength training but also makes it fun for the athletes! Katie does a great job encouraging my son to try new things to keep the workouts from becoming tedious. The Barn is more than just a place to workout, it's truly a strong community who cheers you on and supports you in your goals. As someone who was new to weight training, gyms can feel intimidating but everyone here was so helpful and encouraging. The coaches always made sure I had what I needed and provided extra instruction and or modifications as needed. I no longer live in the area but anytime I am back to visit, I try to stop in for a class.
