The trainers here are very good people!!! I needed a jump start to shed some weight and I've been to the facility twice a week since I started 8 months ago and I feel so much better. I am moving better, and feeling stronger as the days and weeks go on. They are actively conscious of new aches are pains and will guide you through nicely. This is not a place that you will dread going to, it's very pleasant. These guys know what they are doing, and thankfully because of that I am currently down about 75 lbs. and have a much greater range of motion and am feeling well. They will also help and let you know what your caloric intake should be for weight loss and the amount of protein you should be taking in. If you are young or old and need help or a boost, I'd recommend the fitness Doctor, they have a clientele of all ages. If you are fit and feel there's room to step up your routine, I'm very sure they could sharpen your routine. Thanks guys!

The Fitness Doctor gets results! I had a goal of losing 20 pounds in 15 weeks, and after researching various gyms in the area, I went with Fred because he approaches the problem from both dietary changes and exercise routines. Kevin was my personal trainer and did an excellent job of making sure my 30 minute sessions were packed with hard-hitting exercise, setting up the next machine for me as I was finishing my current set. I met my goal in only 13 weeks, and since then I've been able to maintain a healthy weight by continuing the diet and exercises on my own.

These guys are great! I get real one on one attention by experts in the field. These guys are not just a gym rat at a fitness place, but both have graduate degrees in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition. Both are instructors at local colleges as well. They pay special attention to my strengths and limitations. I am retired and have some physical issues that impact my ability to exercise. Because they are so well trained, the know to go slowly in the areas that need special attention. The one on one system allows them to watch my limitations to make sure I don't get injured. I am very grateful to have been referred to Dr. Peters and his team at The Fitness Doctor in Independence Ohio. Due to undergoing chemotherapy last year I developed a severe case of neuropathy in my legs and feet. When discussing this with my primary care Doctor, she referred me to Dr. Peters for more one on one training to strengthen My legs and overall strength to improve my balance.

I suffer from chronic pain caused by autoimmune issues that cause me to have severe muscle spasms, especially in my back and rib cage areas. Fred was able to give me a stretching routine that helps immensely with my pain and spasms. I am sure it is also helping with the kyphosis. This was way more than any physician did for me and my pain, no drugs or time consuming doctor visits and in my opinion better than any physical therapist I had visited. He also has a wealth of nutritional knowledge (that confirmed my food choices were helping not adding to my autoimmune issues) if you want to start eating healthy.

So, I decided to give the fitness doctor a try and I also knew the founder from a while back. It’s safe to say I’ve chosen the right place. In less than 40 days I’ve not only lost 12 pounds, but I’ve also changed my entire life with their program. I’m eating and cooking real food, I am understanding how to use machines at gyms, my confidence is getting better every week, and I’m learning so much not only about physical health but mental health as well. Every trainer has been kind, and has cared enough to even support me outside of the facility. Worked with fitness doctor to lose wait two years ago. With diet plan and exercise program I was able to achieve goals. The past seven months I've been recovering from a blood clot as well as severe back pain. A week ago I was discharged from physical therapy.
