I started my strength training journey at the Training Room about 4-5 months ago and it’s been the best decision (and investment) I’ve ever made for my physical and mental health. I’ve always been active, but never understood why I was always tired, weak, and in pain. I’ve tried and failed several times training for a half marathon. I also made the mistake of skiing in my out of shape condition and hurt my shoulder. The staff (thx Monica!) at the Training Room not only helped me re-habilitate my shoulder, but started me on a fitness journey that I will continue through the rest of my life. It’s a small clean gym that offers private and small group classes. I could barely do a push-up and had to use all the lightest weights when I started, but I’m now helping my husband move heavy furniture (yeah!!). The trainers and training programs have been very effective in helping me achieve my fitness goals. They are so patient and guide you through each exercise and make modifications when necessary due to skill level or injuries. Highly recommend!

I have been working with Monica for about five months now. When I started, I could barely stand on one leg for more than two seconds and the weights we used were the lightest available. Now I can walk across the room with heavier weights and my exercises with Monica have become more challenging, intense and rewarding. I cannot say enough about her use of a variety of exercises to target different muscles which keeps each session challenging and interesting. My massage therapist said to me that she noticed that my muscle tone in my legs and arms is dramatically improved. By the way I am 87 years old so it is never too late!! Monica is also working with me on a nutritional plan which has upped my protein intake to close to 100. I feel better, walk better, and have more energy. An exercise program can become something you have to do but dread it. I look forward to our sessions and cannot wait to get to the Training Room for each appointment. If you have hesitated to take the first step. Don't. Go, be evaluated and start a program. You will not regret it.

I have been seeing Monica as both my personal trainer and group trainer for the past six months. I started going to her at the recommendation of my Chiropractor Dr Grant. I was experiencing lower back pain and general weakness. Monica work with me one on one for several months with expert care and skill and I I slowly began to strengthen my back as well as legs, core and arms.
Before I started seeing Monica I couldn’t sit on the floor and play with my granddaughter without experiencing severe pain that would last for days. I was unable to vacuum, do yard work and simple tasks like standing and cooking or cleaning my bathtub. Now, six months later I am able to do all of
those activities. I am now doing group training, which I never thought I would be able to do! Monica is also helping me with my nutrition and I am feeling the best I have in quite a while. I am extremely pleased with my progress and highly recommend The Training Room for overall health

The Training Room has helped me refuel my passion for fitness! After becoming a mom, it’s been so hard to prioritize my health & fitness goals. Dylan and Monica make classes so fun that sometimes I forget I am actually working out. I work with Monica in private sessions and on nutrition while joining Dylan’s group classes. Both my endurance and strength has improved tremendously from working with them the past 2 months. They always ensure I am using the correct form to prevent injury!

Cannot recommend enough!!! I used to hate working out but the Training Room has turned that hate into love. Monica made me feel so comfortable starting out in personal training and helped me discover the nutrients that my body was lacking in my diet! After gaining confidence through training with Monica, I started group classes with Dylan and he makes them so fun. The Training room is my 2nd extended family. Great Staff, my car has been down and I was feeling a little down. When staff reached out to me to check on me that made me feel good they even offered help. They even provided at home work outs to keep me in the loop. When I started the training room almost 2yrs now I didn't know that I would form friendships but I did. I love the training room.

I'm one year into my fitness routine at The Training Room. This has been a transformative & fun learning experience for me. I've never spent any significant time in a gym, and the thought of it was overwhelming to me. Where do I go, and what do I do when I get there? These were the two questions that would always stop me from adding a consistent daily workout to my schedule. TTR actually found me via social media. Long story short, I liked the pitch and scheduled a consultation. The rest is history. I've been a regular at the morning class with Coach Jason, and the evenings/weekends with Coach Dylan. All of the trainers are extremely friendly and knowledgable in all things strength training! The classes are CHALLENGING yet easily modified by Jason or Dylan to fit your level of fitness. I'm feeling great and seeing significant results. If your looking for a fitness program with a variety of strength and circuit training in a small group setting that will teach you the basics of working out, this is a great option for you.

Best decision I’ve made in longer than I care to admit. The small group classes are still considerably customized for any necessary accommodations. I’m gaining confidence, which was my main objective. The staff members are fantastic and the group mates are a surprisingly good match - I have a bit of anxiety in groups, but everyone is so welcoming, friendly, and genuine.

I highly recommend the Training Room. I’ve been a member for a few years now. I was doubly glad to be part of the team after surgery last year. Once I recovered enough to resume workouts, I had 1:1 sessions to slowly build up strength and confidence. Now after a year of being back in the regular classes, I am stronger than ever, lifting weights I never thought I would. I love how they are able to offer individualized modifications during class allowing everyone to participate and work at their own level.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I was very clear on my schedule and the company agreed to my schedule. after the first day of training i received a text saying they need to change a day in the first week and move it. I am a very busy person and cant move my time around. they refused to refund my remained of my sessions even though this happened after my first session. the trainer that called me was very rude and pushy trying to make me stay. Lecturing me on how that's how business works. I would stay away from this place.

I saw an ad on Facebook for a 6 week challenge at the Training Room and at that time I needed a change. I went and had an interviewed with one of the trainers (Jordan) and convinced me that if I try this that change will come. He stated that you have to dedicate yourself and really want this. In the first 6 weeks I lost 6 pounds
Then he asked if I wanted to continue to improve myself we have a program and if you stick to it will give you results. I decided to continue with the program. In a year since I joined , I lost 50 pounds and saw a transformation. What give this place a top rating is that not only they teach you how to lift weights and properly position yourself for each exercise, they even give you challenges and prizes if you complete it. Motivation is what Jordan and the Training Room team do. The second thing that stands the Trainng Room out Is that they look out for your health and nutrition needs and give you meal plans and check on you to make sure you don’t fall off. This program is best for those who are serious about taking care of there body and nutritional needs

My experience has been phenomenal at The Training Room. When I first reached out to The Training Room, I was terrified of commitment. I was scared of failing, again, as I had in the past. But Coach Jordan Murph was exactly the person I needed on my health journey. We spoke of accountability and the ability to get up and do the work. J.Murph was able to pinpoint areas of strength and challenging spots. His skill and ability to identify areas of need was impressive during the assessment and that was a pivotal moment for me.

At each training session, Coach Jordan balances humor and toughness, yet is an encouraging coach, which fit well with my current goals to help push me. I throw a ton of challenging ideas to Coach Jordan but his expertise always rings true and is solid. Each session focuses on a new area, muscle and skill and I love being able to walk into a challenge knowing that I am going to be supported in just the right ways.

I also love that the trainers and masseuse and chiropractors work as a team. Everything is cohesive and I know I am getting exceptional care with great communication between providers.

I feel supported by the community at TTR. Each member encourages another in the physical space and virtual space which helps me to feel connected. Having a specific group that only discusses health goals is so necessary for me and I am happy to be a aprt of the community.

To date, I am down 14.5 pounds and counting. I have been apart of TTR for 28 days. And I have NEVER seen results like this. Thanks to the Training Room for my success but most important, Thanks to Coach Jordan Murph for being able see each member as capable of achieveing health goals that we had only dreamed of.
