This is by far the best gym I’ve ever been too! Getting trained by Anthony and I’ve never seen so much progress in my life! Only been going for about a month and he has got me closer and achieving all my gym goals than any other trainer I’ve seen. He is literally the most supportive and caring trainer Ive ever met and really cares about his clients and making sure everyone’s needs are met and they are taken care of! Highly recommend!!!

Anytime Fitness in Guthrie is one of my favorite places to workout. John is a great dude, always very courteous and very helpful on technique. Gym has great machines and facility is well maintained. No customer service at all...DO NOT GO HERE. Will take your money and never answer any phone calls or questions. The only way to cancel your account is to simply cancel whatever credit card you signed up with and block. No other anytime will work with you either. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

I am writing this review because anytime fitness has not been very consumer friendly. I have been a member at this anytime for almost 5 years now. Recently they put new lights in which doesn't sound that bad but compared to how the gym used to look they need the other ones . First off anytime is not pretty by any means and these lights don't help. there are random dark spots in the gym, it really just looks like a dungeon in there if we are being honest. terrible atmosphere now compared to what it was. also they have gotten rid of some equipment instead of maybe getting it fixed which seems kind of odd to do as a gym.

I transferred from here from my home gym two years ago and have seen multiple changes in management. The past few months have seen an increase in staff presence and a physical change in the structure of the gym. The addition of a new squat/bench rack and improved options for cable machines has been a great sign for things to come. The management of anytime in Guthrie also caught that I was overpaying for my membership and took the time to get me set up in a proper plan. I am just happy to see a new unified direction that has not been present since I have been here.

I recently got a membership at this location and I can confidently say this is the best gym in town. After visiting other gyms around the area, I have found that Anytime fitness has an atmosphere that is incredibly inviting and judgement free. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Because there is 0 service. Had to go to Edmond to cancel my membership and transfer it to the Edmond location for 30 daysbefore I could cancel. The gym equipment is not well maintained and a little scary sometimes. There are no classes and no trainer available on a consistent basis. Pathetic gym. But the patrons I met there are AMAZING!

Update as of 4/12: This gym is double charging each month. My membership was supposed to stop in January 2022. The key fab no longer works to try to get in and leave the manager a note. No one returns calls and there is never an employee there. Written mid March: No one answers If you give your bank account to this gym, they might randomly bill you out of the blue, $48, after your prior membership expired. Trying to get ahold of the manager during the summer months was IMPOSSIBLE. If you can leave a message, it will never be returned. Go to 4 Star in Guthrie. I am hoping that this time, my call will be returned, or that they have someone actually manning the office to refund me and tell me what happened.

Worst gym iv ever had a membership at. Pretty much because it was the only gym that guthrie had another time.
I joined and they have basic equipment I could deal with that, but there is never a constant person that works here. I was a member for I think Over a year. I stopped going so I decided to cancel my membership, but when it came to getting ahold of a associate to cancel my membership I couldn't get anyone, in person, on the phone, or even by email. I was stuck paying for months till finally I couldn't pay anymore and just canceled my debt card. Thought that was it., months go by and I get a call from a collections agency trying to collect 900 dollars for fees and late fees.
I'm astonished as to why. When I couldn't even get ahold of an associate to cancel my membership but they have people to send your account to collections.
Very displeased with this "business" i would caution everyone to stay away from this scam of a "gym".

I had a problem with billing in September 2022. I called numerous times, left messages to get things worked out. Nobody would call me back, they locked me out of the gym in October, ABC financial (billing) called me repeatedly and I told them to cancel my membership, they said I needed to call the gym. Again I called them repeatedly, no returned calls. I have had no access to the gym since. They kept billing me apparently, but no more contact from ABC. I just assumed they let it go. Fast forward to January, they hit my account for $435 dollars. Still no access to the gym. They never once told me I was in a contract until this happened. I added my son to my account in July, they started a two year contract then, I did this over the phone. How do you sign a new contract over the phone?? Anytime Fitness is a scam! I was a customer for well over two years before they did this. They have not taken any responsibility for their mistakes and treat you like it’s your fault that they can’t keep a manager in the Guthrie Anytime Fitness. Do not do business with these people.

This place is crazy town!!! Don’t do it! Nobody works there and if you have a problem, there is no one to help you. LAST JULY they decided to not charge for the month, their mistake. I have been trying to call repeatedly since. So yesterday they decided to draft $500 out of my account!!!!!!! Without authorization!!! I still wanted my membership and did NOT want to cancel. After being bullied by the “regional manager” today and getting no help, my next call will be the BBB and then to the OK Atty General’s office. Just don’t do it! Guthrie has several gyms that don’t steal from you!! I would’ve given them no stars but unfortunately there is not that option.

I'm moving to the area at the end of the month and I was trying to get ahold of them about the equipment and getting a membership but they never replied. It's working on two weeks since I reached out to them and I still haven't heard anything from them. I've tried Facebook messenger, email and calling. Can't get ahold of anyone at the gym no matter when you call. How are they supposed to get members if there is never anyone there to help?

UPDATE: got ahold of the manager, Milos. Awesome guy, polite, professional and got my membership started. There's another younger guy whom I can't say the same about. I thought he was just another member by the way he acts. So I go at night (some mornings) to avoid the crowd, about a month now. There are a couple machines that need replacing due to springs or screws damaged, possible safety hazard. Trash cans have been full for a few days now, so full the opening that spins doesn't spin closed. The wipes you use to wipe the machines are just piled up in some areas and on some machines. Water bottles & jugs throughout the gym. They've done away with most of the paper towels except where needed. Like the tanning beds, they don't have paper towels just 1 microfiber towel and a nearly empty bottle of disinfectant to clean the beds, after one day there's no telling how many people have used that 1 towel. One morning I saw a member using several different machines and not wipe them down even when staff was there. Same guy as above (not manager) kept looking over at her and eventually stopped to talk. By the way they were laughing and flirting it wasn't about cleaning after usage.
Keep in mind this isn't a bad place, just needs some help in cleanliness and better staff. I've seen they have a cleaning person but I don't understand how it still looks like that.

Does anyone actually work here? After my year membership was up. Thought it was over ! No not the case still being charged . Found out by calling another ANYTIME ( because no one is never in the office at this location or answer the phone) found out after the year membership it then turns into month to month and I have to go to my sign up location to opt out. So since March 2022 they have taken money out of my account for month to month membership. I've called the 800 number THAT DOES NO GOOD. they will give you the run around . Signed up for an appt and the 7 day free trial offer. Got a text from a Brooke stating they do not honor the Corp 7 day free trial. Told them that was fine and had an appt with someone for the next day at 10 am. Arrived at 9:45 am for my 10 am meeting no one was there. After waiting until 10:10 Am I left. 1. one of the very few gyms to still have gender specified shower rooms. this is an absurd and asinine concept. members have to wait more / less depending on whether they claim a P or a V. straight silly.
2. these threatening printouts scattered throughout the gym are just tacky. is Guthrie the ghetto? I honestly don't know but I've never heard anyone rep Guthrie in rap lyrics... why is there a need to talk down to your members? 'your fob will be revoked' 'smile your on camera' 'courtesy flush if need be'... if this were my home gym I'd tell management to revoke Deez! just so members that only know of this location know, other AF gyms don't talk to you like your inmates.

But you exist, your truck accessible, and have good equipment so five stars! Thank you.
