Attended volleyball game. There is NO parking even remotely close. Made it tough walking for my handicapped husband. And the announcer continually yelling into microphone made it less than pleasant. We drove over an hour just to get Norman. Guess we won't be making that trip again.

This is my all time favorite venue to watch a sporting event. I especially enjoy the girls volleyball. Plus the staff and environment are really enjoyable!

Older, smaller venue with a lot of personality. Not a lot of extras, but fans are right on top of the action regardless of seating assignment. Can be somewhat difficult to navigate for a first-time visitor.

No bags and you have to go through metal detectors just a FYI. But otherwise fairly speedy to get inside.

First time to a gymastics meet. I was impressed the turnout of fans and the energy from the fans and gymnasts. Family had a great time and will go to see more matches.

Travelled from Indiana to Oklahoma for a gymnastics meet at Mccasland. Full scanner security system in use - for a relatively small sporting event/ and was told that I could not bring in my purse. This was not a large purse, but a small to medium sized handbag I offered to let them search it - nothing in there but my wallet, keys etc. Security did not budge and I had to run all the way back to my car. Came back and ran through scanners, needed to sign for my ticket (my son is athlete on opposing team). Different security guard was very helpful because she knew I was now late and possibly going to miss seeing my son compete. I can’t believe this! I came all the way from Indiana and now I’m going to miss the competition! She ushered me to table to sign for a stamp. Lady at table insisted she see my ID. I’m the only person there with opposing team sweatshirt on- Really? My purse is back in my car! Thankfully they reluctantly let me through. If this is how OU welcomes visitors to their campus, I would have to give them an F in hospitality. Only bright spot was 2nd security guard. No way will I ever return.
