This gym is dirty, there's hardly any weight clips and the basketball court is always dirty.There's often q tips and candy and all kinds of other garbage and debris scattered on the side of the court. It's also always extremely hot in the gym which makes it more difficult to workout or play basketball.

Love how the owner reacts below and wants me to contact them, but when you reach out to them, they never call you or respond to your text, calls, or emails EVER. My original complaint on here was two months ago, and still, nothing is fixed ( pictured below). Why would I talk to you when you simply just need to tour your own gym? Why do you need 2 to 3 people staring at their phones at the front desk? Why not have them clean the steam room that smells like someone took a crap in? Or the showers that still have BLACK MOLD in the grout? Or the water fountains that don’t work? Or the multiple machines that have been broken for months and months? So, mist owner, maybe you need to get a scrub brush and a bucket of soap and water….

Brand new member I tried working out tonight after work (I’m off at 6:30pm) and you close at 8…? In 2024, the gym was in good condition and used to deserve 4–5 stars, but now it’s terrible… Things are constantly breaking, half of the machines are out of order, the jacuzzi is often not working, they haven’t managed to put up the punching bag for a year, several drinking fountains are broken and still not fixed, and it feels like they change the chlorine in the jacuzzi and pool only once a year. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff is very nice and friendly. This pictures, is half of problem this gym, promise.

Not open 24 hours. It closes at 10pm. Plus this location is dangerous. Was physically assaulted in the parking lot may 5th 2022 getting into car from the gym in 5he handicap spot. Have seen others verbally harassed in the parking lot before too over the past few years. Very cold gym in the winter. Often its 65F inside. Plus they will turn big fans on. Some staff will turn them off if you ask. Some claim they arent allowed to turn them off.---- new update 10-2025 very dirty, dirt piles in the corners of the men's bathroom lije they swept but didnt use a dustpan, 3 of the 4 drinking fountains I saw had out of service notices. The device to spin dry your shorts is just pipes sticking out of the wall.

Phenomenal sign up experience. This gym looked great, super clean, and SMELLED fresh! (Under rated win) The sales manager Andres gave me a very no pressure sales pitch that helped me find a perfect membership option. Pool, hot tub, sauna, free weights, classes, with both variety and volume of machines available and personal training available. It's 6am....and the lights are on but nobody's home. No one has shown up to open the gym. I do my workout here in the morning on my way to work from Vancouver to Troutdale and I am now changing into my work clothes in a strip mall parking lot in Southeast. At 6am. Went to this location at the spur of the moment when the pool in the 24 in Clackamas (gross, don't recommend) was closed since they can't seem to get the chemicals right. This is probably the cleanest 24 I've ever gone to! The pool wasn't crowded at all at 5:30 am and was very clean, no hair or other things floating around. No backstroke lines on the ceiling but the ceiling beams can take the place. Also, the pace clock wasn't working :(.

Locker room was so super clean! No hair or other gross things on the floor. Showers were plenty and spacious - the water pressure was off in the two showers I went in, but I'd take that over grossness.

No shady people around the gym and I felt very safe and not grossed out. I think the Clackamas location has traumatized me!

Canceled my reoccurring membership.
Was still charged. Partly my fault as I lost the cancelation email. But was charged again. Now I have to cancel my debit card so they cannot charge the yearly fee again. No customer service to call and they do not reply to emails. Be warned, don't do a yearly membership.

I securely stored my belongings in a locker with my personal lock at approximately 4:45 PM while I was using the gym facilities. When I returned around 5:00 PM, my bag was missing. It contained my phone, all my credit and debit.

Upon exiting the locker room, I realized I was not the only victim—two of us had our belongings stolen. Despite the fact that we had followed all proper procedures and had a reasonable expectation that our belongings would be safe, the manager refused to call the police, offered no assistance, and denied us access to the facility’s security footage.

This incident reflects a serious failure on the part of the gym to provide a secure environment for its members and to respond appropriately in the event of theft.

Signed up for three day free trial while staying in town. Everything went good online and the first day walked in and worked out with no issues. The employee at the desk was awesome The first day. Then 2nd day Walked in and was asked where I lived and why I was in town. The guy then googled my place of living told me that they do not have a location that close to where I live then told me I either need to pay them $30 to work out or I’m not working out there. Tried to explain that I’m traveling for work a lot and still might be interested in purchasing a membership. The guy stone walled me and basically told me $30 or you’re not working out here today because you don’t live here. Funny part is first day was awesome. Thank you to that guy. the second guy probably should not be working the counter. If they want to have returning customers that like working out there. Went right down the street to one of their competitors and was welcomed with open arms for a three day free trial with no questions asked hasslefree.

I have been a member since 2000..I signed up when the 24 hour at Mall205 was being built. I was sad when that location closed. I am more sad that NE 180th Halsey location in Gresham Oregon is NO LONGER OPEN. 24 hours. I am also sad that there are no longer any Body Pump classes or Cycling classes offered for the PM hours like it used to. Alot of us work. Would be nice to have a 3pm or 5pm Bodypump & Cycling class. My dues have went up and I am supposed to be grandfathered in with no increases but ever since I added all sport before 205 closed I have had increases. I pay 57.00 wich does include a vio pass. I don't know why I am paying so much. No classes like before, no 24 hours and the gym is always packed. Hard to utilize equipment and sauna is standing room only all the time! No more 24 hours. It's ridiculous. Change the name it's false advertisement at this point and costs should be lower. People that work their are very nice.

The price is affordable. Gym is not open 24 hours despite the name. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and so is the equipment. I’ve seen the pool green. Blood on the counter that was left overnight. In addition, all the showers smell like mildew. You could see mold in the vents and in the sinks every time I’ve asked him about cleaning they say yeah yeah they’re gonna get on it. The 24 in Camas is an example of how to maintain a gym.

I have had multiple encounters with an older man whose behavior has been consistently unpleasant. He is extremely rude, constantly making unnecessary remarks and pointing out things in a way that feels confrontational and disrespectful. 24 hours used to be a very good gym and had ecolant service and great notifications. Based on wednesday we're gonna be closing early for the holidays.

I would avoid this gym. There are regular maintenance issues that do not get addressed, the staff is apathetic and unhelpful, and complaints to management go nowhere. There was an issue with the lockers and they were unavailable for months, a water fountain thats been out for over a year, machines that break and are never repaired. I tried to bring up these concerns to management and the front desk said there was no general manager. I just canceled my membership and even though I canceled on the same day I was charged they refused to refund me.

I came in for my trial, and I mentioned I had came in once as a guest a year ago. He lied and told me that the terms say I couldn’t workout.
He did not mention that it mattered only up to 6 months which I was well under when I last went.

Staff is great gym is great, hours are terrible and once they return to normal I will update my score as this location is unusable 90% of the time now unfortunately- Reponse to owner: your Gym is 5 minutes from my house all the others are 20 to 30 minutes plus, I don't need the map link nor do I need the Gym open 24 hours. But 8 PM and 9 PM closing times don't allow for parents like myself to make it in at all! Yes youre open at 6 Am but Kids go to school at 7 Am so no time before cause they get up at 6:30 then feeding them and taking them to school. Then work starts at 8 Am and I'm not off until 6 or 7 most days, but I gotta make it home to cook and eat dinner with my family. Then I'm free to hit the gym generally 7:30 to 8 PM you see hoe the limited hours you have just aren't conducive to normal adults that would love to use your facility? You're open until 10 PM 1 day a week, if you're scared of the area and don't want to stay open late just say that and move the gym.

Have been waiting on body pump & yoga to come back. I have called multiple times to ask when they will be offering classes again. All the other clubs offer these classes. I used to enjoy their body pump, yoga, barre, cycling classes. I haven't used my memebership in years - I just keep watching the schedule and waiting for classes to return. They have a beautiful workout room too. Come on 24 hour gresham! We are just wasting our memberships over here.

I've had a mostly positive post-pandemic experience at this location. Staff are courteous with greetings upon arrival and departure. Some of the machines have been broken in the past, but they seem to get them repaired in a relatively timely manner. Some gym members don't wipe down their machines after sweating all over them, and that's nasty but certainly not the gym's fault.

Overall the selection of machines is good, and the one time I met with a personal trainer they were very helpful. Sometimes the paper towels run out, but I do see employees actively refilling them throughout the day.

I've noticed they have signs up saying they are hiring, which indicates to me that they maybe understaffed. If that is the case then I would encourage people to be kind and respectful to the employees who actual do show up everyday for their shift. Also, take the extra 2 seconds to wipe down your machine after using it and throw the paper towels away in the trash can instead of leaving them on the machine or the floor.

I do wish this location offered more yoga and group focused exercise classes, but I also get that the pandemic wiped out a lot of those in-person group options.

This location is great for me as it's very close my home. Thanks for being there 24Hour Fitness.

My friend had her locker broken into here a couple of months ago while she was working out. They stole her purse and jeep keys. She found her jeep and belongings gone when she went into the locker room after her workout. I came to pick her up. They wouldn't let her see the security video. She found out that 2 other cars were stolen after lockers were broken into here. The security is poor and this is not a place I'd go unless your want to risk having your vehicle stolen and receiving no assistance from staff.

I like this club! They have everything you need. You have your thieves, just like eeeeeevery other club, that take small things like cylindrical foam pads that go over the barbell, and the collars that you clam on each side of the barbell, sure. Every club has those people (like I mentioned). It's not the clubs fault.

The staff is great! They're friendly, attentive, and helpful. I've spoken with Gratian, the sales manager, a few times. He's awesome! His heart is clearly in the right place, and he clearly likes his job/career. He's helpful, he's given me advice, and he's attentive, even helping out at the front desk, speaking to and welcoming customers as they come and go. I like his vibes alot. He's also pretty funny and engages with me when I joke around. I recommend attending the Gresham 24 hour fitness for these reasons and more.

This place just gets worse and worse. It is filthy, locker rooms are disgusting and the equipment is not maintained. The hot tub is rarely working and when it is, is often yellow. When a piece of equipment breaks, it is often down for months, the water bottle filler has been down for over 6 months. Today there was no hot water. I could go on and on, but I think you get the point. I’ve gotten an annual membership for the last two years and have seen steady decline. I will not be renewing and absolutely do not recommend.

Hot tub broke at least 5 times in 2023 and now it is broken again. I witnessed once staff who is a female ỉn hostile cleaning process. She kicked on the bucket and throw equipment around the floor. She flashed contaminated water while I was in the pool. I sincerely ask to change the maintenance way so I am who is as a member getting most of services and stressed free while using the facility. Door were locked and there was no employees present at 7:30am this morning, when they should have been opened at 5am per Google. The was a maintenance technician also waiting outside. A little late is understandable, but 2.5 hours after opening is a bit ridiculous

Filthy and neglected has been my experience in the last 12 months. Straight down hill since day 1. There hasn't been a manager for months, zero cleaning service, and this place is totally abandoned by any corporate oversight.

These pictures are from today, just a small example of the daily filth we work out with.

You can see the grime all over the floor around the machines, literally a years worth of filth on every machine.
The dumbbell rack area smells like rotten meat, trash all over the floor daily, gum stuck to the machines, etc etc

A lot of us members have been taking pictures for months and we all joke about how the health department would probably shut this place down if they ever did a swab literally anywhere.

Anywhoo, I've gone a year without saying anything and now I'm just tired of it.
Good luck to the new manager they have on-boarding right now, dude, you got work to do.

Horrible service. Came in to inquire about a membership. The two at the front desk looked at me, I said hi. And they proceeded to talk with one another and I stood there for 2 minutes and they didn’t mind to ask if I needed something.

I walk out and call over the phone for prices and they respond “it is either $40 or $50 a month.”

I ask “what is the difference?”

Reply: “for details you have to come in”

I say: “I was just inside and no one cared to help”

And they hang up on me. Thank you 24hr fitness.

This is a descent gym, but no one working here really keeps up on stuff or maintaining equipment. For example, the main drinking fountain where you can fill water bottles has been "out of service" for at least 2 months, they still have not changed their clocks back to reflect the last daylight savings, and the batteries in their ski erg have been dead since the summer where I've asked them twice to change them. So when things break or go out of service or need repair, they just stick a sign on it and it stays broken forever...

I’ve been here to use the in-gym treadmills before and was ok with that portion. I’ve been using the Hollywood location to take up swimming with a friend. I thought would try some swimming today… I didn’t get a chance…

The hot tub is broken. Which was a bummer. I usually stretch in the hot tub after my work out.

The pool was full… all three lanes has 2 people.

The showers were freezing. 2 of the women’s showers will not shut off all the way and are continually dripping. Not light drips either. And I believe that’s why the pool was warmer than the showers.

So, I didn’t even get a hot shower at my visit today… I’m going home to do my workout there instead. And will continue to use the Hollywood location in future. I am equal distance from each. But it’s been more constantly functional. I don’t want to get to the gym and get into my swimsuit only to find out the hot tub is down. Wish it would have been posted at the front desk before I got a locker and undressed.

This place never cleaned in months hair, dust and garbage everywhere. Showers filled with girls and hair all over. People's throw up by the swimming pool and haven't cleaned for 4 days. A really nasty place for Workout doesn't feel like you are in the gym

It’s nasty there. Poor management, the bathrooms are disgusting and it’s horrendous. Theirs $HIT all over one and it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. The other one has been out of service for weeks as well. I would post a picture but it’s too graphic.

Crunch has better standards than this place and that’s sad to say. Not worth being a member.

Went there today for the first time because it's closer to my job... The most disgusting gym that I've ever been into. Women bathroom was so dirty, here was trash in the showers, a homeless with her baggage inside the shower SCREAMING, the machines were nasty and there was trash everywhere. Will never come back here again

Convenient location, has plenty of equipment. Lockers rooms are a mess, shower stalls moldy and often out of soap. Toilet area is to be avoid at all times. 24 hr does not hire cleaners to actually clean.
Disappointed as over the years it’s gotten worse. Hire staff to clean please!!

Great equipment, great pricing, no sales pressure, good location, wide variety of equipment both cable, hammer strength, free weights, bars, benches, and other misc stations. Sadly gym lacks either leadership or funding as seeing increasing torn/split/loose handle grips, missing safety pins, pin round ball keepers, and safety pin cables, especially hammer strength machines. Cleaning bottles, sanitizer, and paper towel stations often empty, or don't work. Very poor on cleaning with dust, hair, gum, paper towel pieces, dirt, around equipment bases, or foot pads. "Zero enforcement of cleanliness" with people soaked in sweat going machine to machine never wiping down, thus you will spend 20 minutes of your workout cleaning up after peoples dirty machines in order to use. Alot of finger exercisers lately in their spending 10+ minutes per machine on social media while you wait to use the machine. Some people claiming 2-3 machines at a time saying there working a routine, if you jump in they rush back over and say have just one more set (20 minutes later). If they just did basic maintenance of equipment, had "full time" active cleaners working every day while open, enforced cleaning of machines after use, and no cell phone use while on the machines would be a great place for the price.

It's fine for the price I guess. Some areas of the gym are just gross. All the treadmills look like this. Keeping a gym clean is one of the most important things in running a gym and they are not doing a good job of it.

I love this gym, but since joining the cleanliness really needs to be addressed. They will say they are short staffed….well then PAY MORE! The floor is always littered with discarded paper towels and I swear they never vacuum or mop. All of the equipment bases are dirty and if you lie on the floor for stretching dirt and dust surrounds you. It’s really pretty disgusting. The equipment is surely never wiped down except by patrons. It’s so disheartening as it was clean before. It was
spotless at the end of Covid. I’m hoping they can do better!

Was going to go for a swim saw something dark in the water. Upon closer. Examination it was fecal matter. Alerted staff was an hour and half left till close they said they’d clean it by the morning. I continued watching people swim in the pool unknowing what lied in the merky water

The gentleman working at the front desk likes to harass women… was told to smile multiple times in an annoying manner when simply minding my own business and trying to get a workout in. I have been a member at 24 for many years, but this was the breaking point, and I have cancelled my membership.

This is a bittersweet moment as I've been a member at 24 Hour Fitness for 15 years since 2008 and have always loved the ability to hit the gym when it's convenient with my schedule at the multiple locations in the area.

But todays the day where I say goodbye to 24 Hour Fitness for now because of a multitude of issues that have left me desiring more as a member.

This location is a newer 24 Hour Fitness and it proved to be a welcome addition with clean new equipment and a great atmosphere when it first opened.

But since the pandemic, bankruptcy filing, and restructuring subsequently after... It's been all downhill from there. Some examples that have made the cost cutting measures apparent include the reduction in operating hours... this started during the pandemic and I get the need for the reduction in operating hours because of cleaning and whatnot but most locations have still continued to operate with limited hours outside of the advertised name of "24 Hour Fitness"

The second example is the downhill spiral of the cleanliness of this club. I don't want to discredit the hard working staff at this location but prior to the restructuring... the cleaning crew was sourced third party and they worked around the clock to ensure a clean gym. They were replaced by an in-house cleaning crew that works on fairly limited or inconsistent hours from what I've examined but it's apparent with the dust around the low-traffic areas, the stench that comes from the mens bathroom, the shaved human hair all around the sink, and at times empty soap dispensers... it has made it an undesirable atmosphere in regards to cleanliness.

The final example is that the sauna has been down for quite some time... 3+ weeks from what I have been able to examine. And I get it... some members don't take care of the equipment, they pour liquid on the machine that can damage it. But it's the lack of communication of when they anticipate it to get fixed and back up and running. It was frustrating as a member having to hope that the sauna was back up and running or having to go to another location because their sauna was working.

For those reasons, the switch to LA Fitness has been a pleasant surprise as to how a gym can and should operate. And to the wonderful staff at this location and every other 24 Hour Fitness that I've been to over the past 15 years... Thank you for all of your hard work and please don't let restructuring ruin the experience for its people!

I like this place a lot, but the music is sometimes too loud and obnoxious. No one wants the added stress of listening to the Jonas Brothers at 100 decibels when doing a tough workout. 80s music would be better, but really, just let us listen to our headphones. I go during the slower times and that's great--plenty of equipment to go around. Would like to see more cleaning being done, but it's not a big deal. The pool is decent. Alex at the front desk is friendly and helpful.

Sauna has been out of service for over 2 weeks and management is nowhere to be found. Gym hasn’t been cleaned so overhead fans constantly kick up mounds of dust. Owner just replies to reviews but will continue neglecting this location. No improvements have been made over the past 6+ months so take their word with a grain of salt.

This gym doesn’t get cleaned, trash bins get emptied but the pile of dust and hair balls in the corners tell the truth. This gym hasn’t seen a vacuum ever in its life. All equipment in the facility operates though (hence the two star).

Edit: sauna and hot tub have been closed for way to long. Manager that runs this place (if there is one) can’t get a single electrician to fix it the same day? It’s been over a week and can’t even get a tradesmen in to fix their amenities that are paid for by members. Wild.

This is a decent 24 hour fitness. The equipment is always clean and if you come before 5 it’s relatively empty. I can’t rate it any higher because every 2 weeks one or more of the toilets is out of service and they don’t do the best job of cleaning the bathroom floors. I’ve seen a piece of gum on the floor in front of a toilet for days. It’s also not big enough to house everybody once it’s busy; if you come in after 5 good luck finding a bench or a squat rack. Some of the accessories like dip belts are destroyed too.

My locker was broken in to. They stole my bag, phone and keys. Than they used keys to steal my car. Front desk didn’t even want to let me call the police to report my car stolen. Person at the front desk told me, it not his car so he doesn’t care. Next day I talked to manager, so she could check video from security cameras to see who is drove my car away, she said she will. But when I asked her again se said she doesn’t have time for that. Parking lot is not safe, a lot of crazy and violent people prowling cars while members inside the club.

Came in with a guest pass because I was looking to join a gym. Guy at the front desk had no personality, did not greet me. I did not receive a tour of the facility. There was no welcome whatsoever to the club. Was told to "enjoy my workout" and that was that. Went to LA Fitness and got the total opposite response, and later joined. What a joke 24 Hour Fitness (what a misnomer considering their new open hours) is.
