I have been to many gyms and many gym atmospheres in my life & All Bodies strong is the most inclusive gym environments I’ve been to. I don’t live in Portland but I’ve visited Portland multiple times & went to ABS & even attended one of their charity events the Puppy Pull, which is a deadlift competition raising money for dog rescues. It was so much fun & so welcoming to people who had never competed before & as someone who had competed in a powerlifting competition it was nice to see the camaraderie. I think what I love most about this gym is that it’s free of diet talk & a positive environment for people of any & all sizes, gender identities, races, sexual orientation, etc. . It’s a space you can feel safe and be safe in and feel & be accepted for who you are. Highly recommend this gym! And tell them I sent you :-)

If you have a childhood memory of being on a playground, engaging with a bunch of other kids, straight up having fun before the world taught you about shame: this place will make you feel that again. I’ve been in some kind of sport my whole life but spent the last 5 years or so trying to redefine my relationship with exercise. ABS is the place for me. Coaches listen and care. They want to make sure the movement is serving you, not the other way around. Exercise is not penance here. If this sounds at all like something you want, please come! If it doesn’t, move right along!

I walked into this place (which Ive NEVER seen with BIPOC members, everrrr). The gentleman that owns the business was all shut down. I asked him a few questions, told him what I offer and all he said was no, no and no. Complete and full shut down. It may be me. But I could see his anger at anyone in shape, his anger at color, his anger at men when he prefers to talk to women who, well, are out of shape. I read his comfort zone in his blue eyes the poor thing. He had no idea that idgaf if he was green or a twig, purple like Barney. I don't care like that. Live in that bubble you.

What an awesome and inclusive space! I went for yoga tonight. Part of their free trial for a week. It was mind-blowing how comfortable I felt. As a fat person, I get anxious at the gym, even planet fitness. The owners have curated a really nice inclusive safe space for all body shapes. They were welcoming and kind. Answered questions I had. Definitely joining.

A haven for LGBTQ2SIA+ and marginalized people. Working class solidarity & no toxicity tolerated. I come here for strength, inclusivity, empowerment, and community. Staff here are genuinely caring and go out of their way to make every person feel comfortable and safe. It's evident that inclusivity is at the heart of everything they do, from diverse hiring practices to programming and events.

All Bodies Strong has legitimately changed my life in the best way! In the past my experiences with fitness have not been the greatest as it had felt toxic and gate keeping. But in April of 2024 I attended two classes and was immediately sold! The community going down at All Bodies Strong is incredible! All of the coaches and people who attend classes here are so supportive, caring, genuine, kind, funny, and helpful. But at the same time, you will also be challenged in a way that will lead you to becoming a better stronger version of yourself. And not just physically, but mentally as well. I started at 3 classes a week, but immediately moved up to unlimited! Every single day the thing I look forward to the most is my class at All Bodies Strong! I attend 5 days a week. I recently have been attending the boxing and yoga classes as well, and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of it all! 10/10 recommend! I’m only getting started! I can’t wait to keep it moving with the support and encouragement of the entire community at All Bodies Strong! You all rock and make everything so fun, yet challenging!

The owners and coaches of All Bodies are incredibly knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful, and welcoming. All members of our gym community are encouraging, super fun, and will welcome you with open arms! Every coach in every class you take creates a program that is enjoyable, accessible for all levels, appropriately challenging, flexible, and differentiated based on individual and/or group needs. Whether you are stepping into a gym space for the first time, are coming back into a gym space after an injury or a break from moving your body, or are an experienced athlete, All Bodies is able to meet your needs and exceed the expectations you may have around Powerlifting, PowerUp/Circuit Training, Boxing, Yoga, and more. They also offer a variety of clinics, information sessions, social gatherings, and a Self Defense course! Joining All Bodies Strong was the absolute BEST decision I ever made and attending classes here on a daily basis provides me with nothing less than pure joy and the confidence I need to actually enjoy moving my body in a variety of ways! Huge thank you to Christina and Will for cultivating their brilliant vision of providing such a wonderful gym experience for all bodies and keeping us strong!

If you have a body, All Bodies Strong is for you! Will and Christina are so knowledgeable and have created an inclusive space that is adaptable for all sizes and abilities. I never thought I would be a gym person, mainly because these spaces tend to be so toxic. But this space has completely changed my perception of what a gym can/should be. If you’ve ever thought about powerlifting but felt intimidated or excluded by other spaces, check them out!

I followed Will and Christina to their brand new gym and have nothing but the best things to say about everything they've built. They're sincere, humane, funny, and deeply caring people who know exactly what they're doing and why it matters. If you think a lifting gym isn't for you, you're not thinking of this one. Please check All Bodies out, if only just to say hello. You'll be delighted.

The most comfortable I have ever felt in a gym environment! It’s so refreshing to have a space where I don’t feel pressured to do more than I can, or embarrassed when I have no idea what I’m doing. Everyone here is so kind and fun to be around. Plus they have a gym dog. Who doesn’t love a gym dog??

I've been plus size my entire life, tried several different gym memberships at big gyms and I have never felt more comfortable, welcomed and empowered than I have at All Bodies Strong! 😭💕 Christina and Will have created something truly groundbreaking by opening this space. I just took my first yoga class in months in their gym (I've tried other yoga places in SE Portland over the last several years) and let me tell you: THIS EXPERIENCE HEALED ME!! ❤️🔥 To have an plus size instructor and practice yoga in a room full of plus size people has changed my life. If you struggle with feeling comfortable moving your body in a way that feels good and supportive to you, come to All Bodies Strong and connect with one of their incredibly kind coaches. I promise you will not be disappointed. ❤️ Can't wait for the next yoga class!

This gym is a godsend. If you want a place that is inclusive, supportive, and not filled with diet talk and constantly asking if you want to lose weight, you have to come here. A gym to support your goals whatever they are.

THE GYM OF MY DREAMS!
Well to be fair, I've never dreamed of a GYM before because my brain couldn't even fathom how to imagine something like this.
the owners of this gym have done an incredible job.
This place is:
Inclusive
Clean
Safe
Welcoming
Accessable
Simple (IN THE BEST WAY)
Everytime I go I lose track of time. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN IN A GYM? When you're having fun???
I have done classes once a week since they opened earlier this month. They cap the classes at 6 people so that everyone in class can get individual on-on-one time as they need it.
Christina and Will are incredibly knowledgeable, they can answer all the questions. Something feeling uncomfortable or unsafely strenuous in your body as you lift? They have advice for that.
They make sure you're doing everything safely for YOUR body.
Someone who cheers you on and pushes your limits -in a good, kind way-?
A wonderful balance of introducing/maintaining your bodies AND minds.
Will and Christina are like having your own personal frickin' hype team.
Trust me on this one y'all.
This is big.
