Private personal training studio. This is specifically not a gym atmosphere, the only other people you will see here are working with fitness professionals towards a goal.

Here at Balanced Body Fitness we aren't focused on achieving the best physiques. We think the gym is more important for health and well being not just trying to look better. We build healthy resilient bodies.

We specialize in aging gracefully and preparing/recovering from surgery. If you have been to physical therapy but still feel like you don't have the abilities you'd like in life we can definitely help!

No cookie cutter workouts, your body needs individual attention. All our programs are made to suit your specific needs.

I’ve been working with Nathan for about a year and a half, and I can’t recommend him enough. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, but what really sets him apart is his ability to meet you exactly where you’re at. There’s no pressure to push beyond your limits. Instead, he focuses on steady, sustainable progress and long-term health, not quick fixes.

One of the things I appreciate most is how customizable the experience is. For example, I prefer not to talk about weight or nutrition, and that boundary is fully respected. But if that’s something you want to dive into, he’s ready and equipped to support you there, too.

The gym itself is private and completely judgment-free, which makes it a comfortable space to show up and put in the work at your own pace. Nathan can support anyone from competitive athletes, to pregnant and postpartum women, to gym newbies; which is a testament to his commitment to tailored workouts that garner long term results.

Started coming here once a week about 5 months ago. I’m so glad I found this gym. Nathan is a gem of trainer and has been an immense help on my fitness journey. He’s very patient, down to earth, and has helped me understand my body on a new level. I starting coming here after a few years of neglecting my body and feeling like I had lost control over my weight. Nathan immediately met me where I was at and started showing me the path to take my body back. 5 months in and my body is feeling and working better than it has in years. I started working with Nathan almost two months ago, coming to him for help on restarting my strength training routine after a very long pandemic-induced break. Although not a stranger to strength training, I felt awkward and out of sorts having not lifted anything substantial in about 3 years. In the short time I’ve worked with him, I’ve regained my confidence at the barbell and have already made significant strength gains. Nathan takes a very methodical approach to building a program that’s tailored to your needs and goals. He’s the most thoughtful trainer I’ve ever worked with - he takes the time to make sure your form is proper, you’re properly warmed up and stretched out to avoid injuries and bad habits downstream. And he’s all around a great guy to spend an hour with! I look forward to my weekly training sessions, it’s fun and hard work and educational all at the same time. He plays good music too which is very important to me! If you’re looking for a fantastic trainer to help you achieve your fitness goals, Nathan is your guy!

No matter what your fitness or health goals are, Mike and Nathan will help you reach them. I have become so much stronger since I began attending group fitness classes at BBF! Everyone is supportive and whether you are just starting out or are a seasoned athlete these group classes are great and will help you push yourself! If classes are not your thing they offer personal training too. Having been a personal trainer in the past, I can promise you this team is the real deal!

I have been training with Nathan since he was working at another facility before starting up Balanced Body Fitness. I followed him because I was confident he would do amazing with his new business. It has been exciting watching him grow this business and continuing to work with him through it. Nathan is an amazing trainer which is why I have been going to him for so long. I have had multiple injuries in the past and he always finds a way to develop a workout taking those injuries into account. Nathan listens to the individual and their needs. He has always listened to what my goals are and helped me achieve them even if it means thinking outside the box which he has proven to be very good at.
I am really excited to see what happens for Balanced Body Fitness now with a larger gym for personal training and group fitness. With Nathan, Mike and Julia you will be in very capable hands no matter how you try to reach your fitness goals.

Seriously the best personal trainer you could ask for. Nathan is kind, motivational, inclusive, extremely talented, and a pain in my butt (literally, but the squats are worth it, I promise!). I’ve been working with him for over two years now and not only are his prices extremely reasonable, but I’ve seen some real progress physically and mentally. Nathan is not only a brilliant trainer, but an all around great guy. His gym is not only pretty, but has everything you need for a good workout, including great programming! He sat down and listened to my goals and built a program for me that helped me knock it out of the park! He checks in with me regularly making sure we can make adjustments to the program as needed.
