I was visiting family in Portland and decided to try out barre3 during my stay, and I am so glad I did! The studio is clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the classes are super fun. The front desk made me feel right at home and always greeted me by name. I loved the energy and supportive environment of this studio and I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in town!

I like the variety of classes and unique styles of different instructors. Classes start early so I could get my workout done before a busy day of work/life.

I love this class, its instructors, as well as the wonderful staff! At age 80, it is not always easy to do the exercises as instructed, however, the staff are always encouraging and showing alternatives for those not able to follow instructions exactly. They always have a double mat (which I requested) ready for me as well as a place by the barre, which I highly appreciate!

I like the classes but an hour class costs the same as a 45 minute class. I would prefer more 60 minute options after 5 pm. If I’m going to make it there, I want to do an hour. 45 minutes seems more suitable for a lunchtime class.

It’s a great studio with ample space and tons of natural light. There’s room to spread out so you don’t feel like you’re on top of the person next to you. I had a great class with Cathy Say!

I started joining classes in March of this year and am so grateful for this community and the ability to take time for me a few days a week. Beyond a good sweat, I enjoy how much the class instructors pour into us mentally and emotionally with reminders of self love, confidence, and self worth. I always leave each class feeling lighter and in a better mood than when I entered 🩷

I had never found a workout that I truly enjoy, until I found barre3! I love how each class is slightly different based on who is teaching it. I also love that they’re starting to do more cardio and strength classes in addition to the signature class! It’s fun to do something a little different.

They require proof of covid vaccination to attend. Segregation at its finest. Funny thing is, it doesn’t prevent the spread!

Cedar Mill Barre3 classes are 45 minutes long. And you’ll have to pay the full price of $28 for the reduced time. There are no more mask mandates and they no longer clean our equipment; we’re instructed to put our equipment back ourselves. The Orenco Barre3 and others have full 60 minute classes at less cost of $24 AND they clean our equipment. Not sure why they have reduced expectations at Cedar Mill Barre3.

By far my favorite workout experience — emphasis on focusing on what you actually need rather than weight & appearance. Kind & supportive staff, beautiful space.

Highly recommend! I was intimidated to try something new, and the friendly staff made me feel at ease and welcome. The studio is clean and feels peaceful. As a bonus, there’s plenty of parking. Everyone is helpful and quick to respond when you have a question or issue. I look forward to each of my classes and am always glad I went.
