I took a class here when visiting Portland and had a wonderful time! The studio is gorgeous and the staff were very friendly. The instructor Meredith taught a tough and inspiring class! Highly recommend!

I've been a member here for almost a year, and it's really benefited both my mental and physical health. There are tons of classes to choose from and a high level of quality in instruction. Plus, it's a friendly and welcoming community that's become a positive part of my day. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Challenging classes in a supportive, friendly, and fun environment! Instructors are always good about offering modifications for different fitness levels and body needs. There is a range of class types, but B3 Strength is a favorite for the slow burn with heavier weights than the traditional classes.

I enjoy Barre3 classes quite a bit, and as someone recovering from an injury I find it really helpful that I can easily modify to my specific needs. The staff is nice, the studio is clean and most teachers are great. I do find myself wishing pretty often that the classes had more diverse movements, they can get repetitive.

I’ve been taking classes religiously for the last 18 months and my mental and physical health have never been better. I love the moving to music, the kind community and the radical teachers who motivate, modify and make every class feel like a sweaty good time.

I’ve been to all the barre studios in the area, and Barre3 is by far my favorite. I became a member back in May and I’ve attended over 100 classes ever since. I love the variety in the workouts, and unlike other barre studios, I actually SWEAT in these classes. There’s definitely more of a cardio component. I also like that they have specialized classes like barre strength and barre cardio. The instructors are fun and make me want to keep coming back! 10/10 recommend!

As a cardio lover, I started taking barre classes to build strength. I’ve never liked weightlifting but had made a goal to get stronger and cross train, specifically for running, to prevent knee pain.

What I initially thought would be a workout I would need to slog through, I’ve grown to absolutely love. My back pain is gone and my core and upper body are the strongest they’ve ever been. And I actually love the workout—the people, the music, the space. I look forward to going several times a week. Plus, it forces me to take a bit of time for breath work and mindfulness which has been transformative. I 🧡 barre3.

I've been a member of Barre3 for almost six months. I love coming to the classes, they're challenging in the best way possible. It’s sometimes a hit or miss with the friendliness of the staff, however for the most part the environment is very welcoming. One of my favorite classes they’ve held is their BIPOC class. I wish they had more of these classes instead of just offering them monthly.

Overall, I would recommend Barre3 and taking a class, the first one is free!

Barre3’s Southeast location provides a perfect balance between rigorous workouts and encouraging instruction. It’s a safe environment in which to push yourself and do what’s best for your body. I’ve loved classes with Jamie, Cayla, Stacy, and D’nece; they are all unique and all wonderful. If you’re getting interested in fitness and aren’t sure where to start, this is a great entry point.

I love Barre3! I have benefitted remarkably from this mindful, functional movement--my posture and strength have improved dramatically, and it greatly helps my stress. In fact, it's the only exercise class that I've stuck with consistently. All of the teachers and staff are friendly, conscientious, knowledgeable and respectful. The message is very much about taking up space and listening to your body.

I have been so happy with Barre3. Loved every class I have taken and I am so much stronger than I started. Will continue for as long as I can. I hope they get childcare again. Need more childcare during the week.

I love this barre class. I feel so happy and strong every time I finish a class. Wish I could afford to take unlimited classes! This is the best barre studio-- hands-down! If you are trying to make your mind up between barre 3 and other studios-- pick barre 3! Their combo of cardio, mindfulness, and ballet will kick your butt AND make it stronger!

Barre3 is a favorite, I've been to several locations, this one is close to home, has two showers and always clean. The workout is enough to get you sweaty and possibly sore the next day. It lifts my mood Everytime, instruction is kind and encouraging with a focus on position and safety (unlike other local Barre I've tried).

Instructors are great but these classes are very VERY crowded. I wish they would cap it at some point. I've been there before when there were literally no other places for people to go at the bar, and people had to hold onto the wooden posts in the center of the room. They need to open up another room somewhere - it's just way too crowded to enjoy.

I took a class with barre3 recently, I did small town ballet for 12 years this class was still pretty hard for me but definitely helpful. The only thing is their "deals" only work if you plan on going regularly. I had signed up for 3/$40 deal because I figured even if I only went twice it would still be cheaper. I guess I missed the fine print because it expired within 2 weeks. Of course that my mistake but I do think that it was kind of a ridiculous time frame.

Welcoming and clean studio with knowledge, friendly and motivating staff/instructors. Love the workouts (a bit different each time). Even though my new student discount package is now finished, I will be going back for more!
