I used to come here when it was International Fitness, it was a completely different environment. This place is ten times cleaner, the members are respectful, aware and I always get greeted here with a smile. The whole vibe is a positive one.

Absolutely terrible gym and staff. Constantly raised my price and when I'd go in to ask why they'd drop me down for a month, say they'd refund me, then wouldn't and raise my price again. Started at 30 and now is trying to charge me 69.99 a month. Terrible equipment for actual lifting and a bad atmosphere for getting a workout in. Definitely check your bill if you work out here. At that price you could start a home gym and have better equipment.

Staff for sure earn 5 star review! I have been going to a Delta/Westcoast fitness (that gym) before they were Golds Gym over 15 years ago. Not the newest equipment but friendly staff makes up for it. New management is lucky that they keep a lot of the staff that has worked there for years who know members by name and is always friendly. Kudos to Delta staff!

What a laughably bad website, you basically just bought a domain and then threw a random template on there. The join now link just sends you to a fake gym sign up site in Orlando. According to other reviews they don't honor the personal training listed online probably because they can't be bothered to remove it from the template. Hilarious.

Definitely one of the best gyms in Eugene. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I was visiting home from college for 10 days and they were able to get me a pass for a good deal. Great atmosphere with friendly people all around

Can you guys hire a cleaning and maintenance crew? The woman’s bathroom lights have been out for a month and the group classroom floor is dirty.

Do not ever use this gym. Besides the absolute lack of cleanliness, it took 5 attempts to cancel my month to month membership. They continued to charge me until i finally had to cancel my card. They have no confirmation system setup and the employees appear to be told to lie to the customers. Beware the manager, he runs that place at his discretion. I'm hoping the owner sees this and makes an attempt to fix this. Though after some digging it sure appears that this is how this gym is just ran.

When I joined, I was required to pay first and last month dues. Later, canceling took numerous attempts as 800 number didn't work. Finally, I got hold of someone in India who said my last month would be deducted from my bank account, despite my receipt that clearly shows I paid my last month when I joined. Tho' the gym staff promised to refund my double payment directly, the point is they are aware of this glitch but don't fix it. It seems shady to set your system to overcharge, then require a customer to actively notice and make multiple calls to get their money rightfully returned.

I have been a loyal gym member, but in 2020 when the closed down, they continued taking my money. It was a whole deal to get them to stop taking my money although they were closed. I understand bc of the pandemic but personally I believe it's wrong bc many people were affected financially and were laid off. After a few months I was able to get my membership canceled, but never refunded for the time the gym was closed. Now in 2023 some reached out to offer me a free 10 day pass. Since they texted me, I assumed they knew I was a past member. Otherwise, how else would they have my number? I was actually looking forward to giving it another try. But when I came in, an employee said it was a typo and it's actually a 7 day pass. I thought, Ok, thats fine. Im grateful. Then it became a 1 day pass.. Then they asked who texted me, and said sorry, its actually not a promotion that applies to past members and sent me out. Idk what kind of place treats people so rude. If you're going to do a promotion, be chill about it. Maybe say, " welcome back, or, nice to have you back."? I mean, idk why else they would text me if I wasn't a past member. How else would they get my number. Idk. Overall, rude. Happy I didn't give them another chance.

Overcrowded and deteriorating equipment. I've been going to this gym for years --even when it was "international fitness". Since then, it has steadily gone downhill, but the price has increased ($40/month). It has two bench presses, one squat rack, and a deadlift platform. It also has some power racks which can be used for squats, but have no safety mechanism (at the bottom). During weekdays at peak time a Crossfit "class" of ~9 members shows up and righteously appropriates of the power rack and other equipment even blasting their own music with a bluetooth speaker.
As other reviewers have mentioned the equipment is old --the dumbbells, the cable machines, etc. There seems to be more focus on classes and CrossFit than on having good gym equipment. In sum, a gym that tries to appeal to the elderly, CrossFit trainees, and everything in between and fails miserably at it.

Wasted my time. Their website is deceiving and advertises to β€œschedule a free personal training session” when that isn’t the case at all. When I asked for clarification from the gym staff they said they wouldn’t honor this promotion even though it is highlighted on their website. I’ve never worked out at an official gym before and am unsure how to go about it. I was anticipating an experience in which I was given some guidance throughout the process, however that’s not the case with Delta Fitness. Save your money and just go to Planet Fitness.

I began going to Delta Fitness several months ago, after finding that both membership and classes were covered under my excellent insurance. As a reasonably active 71-year old, I wanted to increase my fitness level. I’ve been attending Silver Sneakers classes and they are just super! Tailored to my age group, they focus on aerobics, flexibility, strength, and balance. A month ago I decided to add a personal trainer and am glad I did. The workouts are definitely more strenuous, but nothing that I cannot handle.
Unlike other gyms I’ve attended, I never feel out of place or awkward here, despite the many much younger and more fit people also working out.
I strongly recommend Delta Fitness!

Honestly don’t get a membership with this place because it’s kind of a whole mess. I canceled my membership and did a whole form and apparently the employee working didn’t submit it so I was then charged the following month. Obviously I asked for a refund and they found the paperwork and thought it was strange but claimed they would refund. Apparently this refund was gonna take 2-3 weeks then a month and then that turned into a month and longer. I kept calling and they kept stalling talking about wait and keep waiting. After like a month of waiting I asked for a cash refund and they said they couldn’t because the refund was processing to my debit card, yeah okay. Again, I called later on and the manager was apparently looking into it but never available. Honestly I just stopped calling because why does a loyal customer have to keep calling and insisting for a refund they’re owed? Not sure what that was all about but it’s been like 2 months and they still owe me my $24.99. I don’t care about the amount because imagine if it was more money and you’d have to keep waiting and begging and checking up on it? Ridiculous. Save yourself the headache honestly. Customer service needs to deeply improve, as I even wrote a comment on their website about this and never got a response. Absolutely ridiculous. You should not have to hound a company for YOUR money. In the end no, no refund or nothing.

I saw one of their personal trainers, Tom. He was well aware of my lack of current physical fitness as well as my current weight. However he decided it would be a good idea to push me to do a super intense workout that for someone who was fit would be ok, but for someone out of shape was unsafe. He also did not have me do any stretching before the workout. As a result I developed a hamstring injury. As a former athlete, I remember the difference between muscle soreness and an injury. However, Tom told me that it was just second day soreness, three days after the original workout when most of the soreness was gone. He proceeded to push me to try to stretch it out through further types of exercise that workout the area. By the end of it I could barely stand up because I couldn't stand to put pressure on my leg. Hands down do not go here for a personal trainer.

I went in last May to cancel my membership at the height of the pandemic. Filled out the paperwork and was told that it would be processed at their office and nothing could be cancelled at the gym. The club never processed the paperwork and I was told there was nothing they could do since I didn’t sign an electronic document (there wasn’t one when cancelling). Nothing can be done over the phone so for a second time have to go in to fill out paperwork. Hopefully the club follows through on their end this time around.

I did the paper work fill out for a cancelation, I asked for information and the gentleman at the desk DIDN'T give me any information of there being any fees for membership cancelation.
I looked at my card just a few days ago and I saw i got charged $69.00 dollars!

The biggest problem I have is with the equipment. This will be my 4th renewal and if the location was not convenient, I would not join again.

All of the equipment is very old and breaks frequently. To make matters worse, when I bring this to the attention of management, very often nothing happens. Some machines have not been working properly for years. It appears that many of the cushions on the equipment have never been changed.

The only change I can see made by the new owners is the flooring. While that is important, this is a gym and the equipment needs to be updated.

Nice people and decent equipment. Crowded at most times of day, except early afternoon and late evenings. People camp on machines and text/surf visit more than any gym I’ve used. It’s a culture thing. I was in the gym for an hour and ten minutes today trying to super-set with short rest intervals. One guy, a regular, was on one machine for 40 minutes. He’d been on the second machine for 30 minutes when I left β€” for a total of four sets in an hour and ten minutes... lift for 40 seconds, then sit and text for 10 to 15 minutes, then repeat. A woman on a neighboring machine was texting with six or eight minutes between sets. That’s their routine, and the gym culture there tolerates it β€” so it’s not a great place to rip through an intense workout. You constantly have to ask people to get up so you can work in. If you’re about exercise and fitness, and you want access to machines, this isn’t a great fit β€” but there are lots of nice people to visit with.

This gym cares nothing about their customers! They don’t mind ripping us off at all. When Gateway closed, they allowed us to use another gym for a couple months. However now I am forced to go all the way to Eugene in the highest traffic area of town to work out because I paid for a year-long membership. It’s completely inconvenient to my work and to my home, but they refused to give any refund or allow me to transfer my membership to a family member who does the use of facilities. So now I am out six months of pre-paid membership for a gym that I refuse to use because the class schedule is uninteresting, the facility is run down, and the overall feel is cheap compared to other gyms in the area. Furthermore, they don’t even have the same facilities as the other location in Springfield. There is no sauna, no pool, no steam room, yet they expect me to go to the gym on Delta and be satisfied, like nothing happened. They made a huge mistake by letting Gateway go. It was a much better gym. Don’t waste your money. The Delta fitness management are charlatans and the staff knows it. Many of them are now at Village Fitness. If you can’t keep your staff or customers satisfied, you should expect to go out of business. There are WAY better options out there. If you can’t afford Village, Pursue is very similar to the Gateway location (minus the pool) but has extremely helpful and accommodating staff. Learn from my experience check reviews before you choose a gym.

This gym is terrible. Night staff asleep at the front desk. When someone doesn't show up for work the gym closes. No longer open 24 hours, making peak hours ridiculously over crowded. Constantly cutting corners and closing locations. Staff does nothing to maintain a clean gym. Decent variety of machines, when they aren't broke down.

This is a pretty decent sized gym for the Eugene area. Lots of machines and a decent amount of free weights, but you're SOL if you wanna do compound lifts. I think they have 1 bench and 2 squat racks, and almost no space for deadlifts. Since they do have a lot of machines, they attract a lot of gym rats, so the 2 squat racks they do have are always hogged by folks with 0 gym etiquette. Tonight there was a guy circuit training with the squat rack in his circuit. What the ever-loving-hell. A to be unnamed gym nearby, which barely costs more, and is less than half the size, has twice the squat racks and benches. Unless you're incredibly cheap, or just want to pull cables to isolate your biceps (bro), you can easily find a much better gym in Eugene.

I started a weight loss journey last August and have been successful at taking off a bunch of weight. I decided, in February, that it was time to incorporate exercise into my routine, to burn fat, build muscle and stay stable and mobile while aging. So, I joined International Fitness Delta. I paid for a year's membership and let them know that I would like to hire a personal trainer. When I went for my first appointment, I was met by Eric, their GM. He did an evaluation and we scheduled for 3x per week. Eric stated to me that he was recruited by the owner of the club and they had an agreement that he could take on some personal clients. So, when I wrote a check for $1,320.00, I asked what happens if you decide to leave the gym. He stated it wasn't an issue, he had purchased a home and had no plans to go anywhere and if he did, he would "take me with him". I felt a bit uneasy, but went with it. NOTE: Listen to your gut!!!! Moving forward, I really enjoyed my workouts and the progress that I was making. Eric texted me in May that he was taking me with him to a gym in Springfield and that if IFit contacted me that I was to say that I was NOT paying for training.....insert red light alarm!. I wanted to do a face to face, WTH is going on with Eric, so I showed up to the "new" gym, Eric did not and the gym informed me that he was not allowed to train in that gym because he was not an employee.

At this point, I went to International and spoke with the then training manager, who informed me that Eric was suspended pending investigation. I told him my story and he promised that he would speak with owners and find some sort of resolution. I repeated this story multiple times to this person and to the Office Manager there. They were both embarrassed by IFit ownership's unwillingness to step up and honor their previous employee's commitment. He was, after all, their General Manager. All I wanted from IFit was for them to provide me with the equivalent of the $ that I paid in training. I worked out with one trainer, who then was transferred to a different gym before our first "real" workout. I then scheduled with another trainer who had to cancel several hours before our first workout, due to family obligations. It became clear that our schedules were not going to jive, so she was going to refer me to another trainer. It took several days for the next trainer to call. He graciously listened to my story and offered an evaluation that evening at 6. At 6 I showed up, he did not. I didn't hear from him for several days at which time he stated he had broken his phone and it took several days to replace it. I had also checked in with the Office manager several times and she was unsuccessful at getting an owner to contact me.

DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM! DO NOT SUPPORT A COMPANY THAT DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THE COMMITMENTS MADE BY THEIR STAFF OR TRAINERS THAT DO NOT KEEP THEIR COMMITMENTS. I KNOW THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON TO FALL FOR ERIC'S SCAM!

To make matter's worse, I fell for a sob story from Eric that his car broke down and he needed some $ to fix it and asked if I could see my way to "loan" him the $. I felt uneasy (again and didn't listed to my gut) and gave him a check for $1500. Since I am committed to becoming a better version of me, I told him to put it toward more training. I'm not asking IFit to reimburse me for that, as that was my stupid move. I am, however asking that they reimburse me the the $1320 and membership. On a positive note, I also lent Eric my weed eater. He returned it! :-)

Had a membership for a few months. Canceled it and the "lost my paperwork" found out 3 months later after they charged my bank account 120 bucks. Called them being out of state at that time, got told my account was canceled but couldn't get a refund. Guess what charge I found come out of my bank today after 2 more months of inactivity?! You guessed it! Another $30 charge. Called them furious and was told there was record on the computer of me calling and wanting to cancel. But that without physical proof I canceled on my end no refund was likely to be approved. So here I am, writing a book to anybody who cares to read about a gym who's about as greedy and unproffesional as there floors are dirty. (Ya the gym was disgusting when I attended months and months back now.) Oh the best part? I was month to month no contract. So pay cash every month (even though I wouldn't recommend it anyways, but for the love of God dont give them your card info.

This gym used to be pretty good. The price was right (less than $20 per month) and it wasn't too crowded (Gateway). This price included use of other International Fitness gyms. They went under new management in late 2018 and prices went up, nearly $30 a month, and that is only for use of one club. Before there were discounts (pay up front, etc.), now those are pretty much gone. The club has also gotten worse. Since there is nobody on the floor (all the employees sit at the desk near the front), the gym is a mess--people don't re-rack weights, other are grunting and howling and making loud noises (trying to draw attention and distracting others), and still others just drop and throw the weights. Nobody that works there cares and if they are, they don't anything, yet, they have all these signs around the club not to take selfies. Finally, the lockers are mess, few people use gym towels to wipe down equipment, and the bathrooms are gross. Sorry, I used to really like this gym but since the new management, the quality is not worth the price of the dues. After more than 5 years, I'm going to have to find another place to work out.

This gym is very frustrating. These are the main reasons: they closed down a gym and the traffic has increased significantly at the gym on Green Acres without allowing for more equipment to be brought in. I often have to wait for treadmills in the morning (infuriating and frustrating for someone trying to get to work) and the equipment they do have is OFTEN broken. As I am at the gym today, there are 5 treadmills down out of 12. The staff is wonderful, but their hands our bound as far as what they can do until the owner decides to bring in more equipment and fix what he has. It’s a great location so I hope they can start providing equipment that works and allows for the patron numbers they have seen since December.

They bill you after you end your membership, pretend like they are going to refund you but don't. My bank says they do this to many people. You will have to change your debit card after you cancel with them. Be warned.

Hard to find a quality, affordable gym in Eugene area, but this is your best bet. Fairly cluttered and unorganized gym, can be hard to find the right free weights at times, and not a lot of room to move around. Not the cleanest gym, but the price can’t be beat.

Horrible customer service. Was promised a refund and assured I would not be charged after putting my account on hold while out of town (after being charged an extra $40 for a fee I was not told about) and they refused after telling me 3x I’d be refunded. I’ve heard from many people they’ve done the same thing to them.

Been a member for 2.5 years! The only reason I am still there is my gym family. Broken equipment for EVER before fixed, dusty and dirty. As of last week, NO HOT WATER!!! 2-3 weeks to get the part once ordered. As of Friday..the part hasn't even been ordered. I will not renew next year

The 3 best things IF has going for it are:
1. The price can’t be beat.
2. There’s no shortage of good equipment to work out on.
3. The staff are very cool and chill about just about everything.

The 3 worst things about this place are:
1. The women’s bathrooms are the most disgusting I have ever seen in my life.
2. It’s always crowded
3. The spinning class instructors don’t know how to make a proper workout playlist. Nobody can get pumped to Adele, sorry.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I called to see what specials they had and I got a woman who answered that knew nothing I have no idea why she works there. I asked to speak to someone who knew what specials they had and she just repeated they had A LOT but couldn't tell me any and there was no one else there. Wow mind blown.

Terrible gym. The red head lady's the desk is a really nice girl. Helped me out a lot with memberships and such. But the company it's self is terrible. It's going down in a black hole that they will never get out of. Do not invest your money into this business. They don't put it forward into the gym they keep it for themselves it seems like. It's not very clean either. There's a lot of work that needs to be done if they are going to keep this " Business" going.

It's a pretty good layout with plenty of equipment. Little cluttered but most gyms are. Not a big fan of their maintenance. Gold's was and now International is notorious for having broken equipment with a sign on it for months before being fixed. This is their best location but they either need to invest in better equipment or put more effort into their maintenance budget. Good place to workout when all the equipment is up and running.

I found that the building was very dirty! There were inches of dirt on the vents in the sailing. I asked them if they were going to change the air filters and they said we are working on it. After a few months of requesting some action and getting no real answer. I quit, paid my fees and now they are trying to send me to collections for money that I paid them. Not a good business!

Lots of equipment but it is older but serviceable. Could use some TLC....e.g. padding on the machines coming loose, faucet in the men's room leaking at a good clip. The men's locker room is a bit dark and dingy looking with dark tiles and poor lighting....not unlike a neglected seedy nightclub restroom. It was only $10 for a day pass which was good.

This is a tough one. Some great things and some not so good. So I'll rank each category:
Price: 10/10 (Cheap!)
Hours of operation : 10/10
Equipment: 7/10 (Some of the equipment stays broken for a long time but they do have a lot).
Complaints: Sauna doesn't always work and doesn't seem to get hot enough. Something the gym is way too crowded.
Staff: 9/10
Cleanliness: 6/10
Location: 10/10
Parking/ 9/10

I'm not sure what the other reviewer's expect in a gym, but I love this one! Its huge, PLENTY of equipment, tons of classes, and I only pay $19.99 a month. About a year ago I cancelled because we have equipment at home, it was easy to cancel, and I ended up coming back because I missed it. Brandon in the front desk is super friendly. If you want a ritzier gym, pay the money and go somewhere else, but if you want a simple (but huge) gym with classes everyday in the mornings and evenings and you don't want to pay an arm and a leg, this one rocks. Thanks for the great facility International Fitness, see you later today!

I know for sure I have had some issues with them. Like when they werent taking money out of my account for my husbands membership and I went in to shut his down for his deployment and this kid who worked there told me they tried emailing and its not their fault if we never got it, because there is over 5,000 members yet that week I got a call from a BIGGER BUSINESS actually a CORPORATION real person reminding me of something and it was a real person calling. It was amazing lol this "BIG" gym couldnt call and let me know that it wasnt getting a payment for 4 months but this corporation would call and remind me of a payment that is needed.
Weird right.

I still have my membership but it isnt even worth it anymore.
I dont even go because its ridiculous and I swear if I get yelled at anymore times from the front desk people Im gonna flip.
