The F stands for functional training, a mix of cardio, resistance, hybrid and recovery workouts geared towards everyday movement. 45 is the total amount of time for sweat-dripping and heart-pumping fun. I just joined and am so glad I did! The trainers and members are very supportive and helpful. I love the diversity of the routines because it never gets old and it pushed me to try new things. It is a very effective and efficient class which is important to me.

I joined F45 as a way to keep myself accountable. My level of fitness suffered significantly during a string of short term moves to different states, working long hours and sitting for 12+ hours a day. I moved back to PDX and knew I needed a change.
All the coaches, including the owners (who often teach classes) are kind, motivating, and knowledgeable. You’re working with a partner during most of the workouts, so it’s kind of competitive in a way without being intimidating at all; in fact, I would say that if you’re someone who struggles with feeling intimidated in traditional gym settings, this is where you should be. This gym is full of positive vibes. Friendly members and great playlists certainly don’t hurt. The workouts change often enough to where they don’t feel stagnant, but you do the same format enough times to be able to see yourself improve and get stronger.
As for results: according to my last InBody scan, I’m down a little over 10lbs, I’ve gained muscle, and I’ve lost fat. Most importantly, I actually look forward to the workouts, so it’s easy to stick with. Normally, I’m not someone who would pay for a fitness studio, but I will be a member of F45 Raleigh Hills for as long as I live in PDX.

F45 is more than a gym, it truly is a community! Every workout is different so you don’t get bored and can focus on building full body strength and cardio. The Raleigh Hills coaches are great! They help keep you motivated and engaged while ensuring proper form so that each class feels more like a personal trainer vibe mixed with a class atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I honestly never thought I’d be a class goer as my preferred method of fitness! But F45 is the right mix of challenging, variable, energetic, encouraging, and progressive that I didn’t know I needed until I tried it. The coaches, the atmosphere, and the space/equipment are top notch. Give it a try if you’re on the fence, you WILL feel welcome here and you WILL get a great workout in!!

I've been going to F45 for ~2 months now. I love that the workout changes each week and it challenges me. The coaches are friendly and will help guide me through it. I also enjoy that it always starts and ends on time, so if I"m trying to go in the am before the kids are up or at lunch I know I can get in, get a good workout and get home for to the next thing.

Oh F45, how I love you so! F45 is the best because you will always get a fantastic workout and never get bored . There are 3 types of workouts through out the week: cardio, hybrid, and strength. The workouts change daily, so it eliminates that boredom which can come with other group workouts. The coaches are great, especially when you have injuries or limitations. I tore a tendon in my finger and thought I’d be out for 2 months… but nope! Malia suggested so many alternatives that I was able to continue exercising during the healing process. The coaches are kind, caring, and always willing to help. And this really creates a community within the gym. Love this place, and always recommend it to others.

I just started my 3rd month at F45 Raleigh Hills and I haven’t felt this good physically AND mentally in a long time. I’m a mom of two young children and these 45 min work outs are the perfect way to ease back into exercise postpartum. The coaches are so encouraging and provide feedback to improve form which is so so helpful. Lastly the community of F45 is so incredibly positive I feel so grateful to be a part of it.

Such an amazing workout that’s constantly changing!! It’s definitely challenging but ohhhh so good ! I've really enjoyed my time at F45 Raleigh Hills! They switch up your focus (strength, cardio, hybrid of both) and class format every day, so you're always working something different. The studio owners, Malia & Alex, are great - they're super nice, and as someone who doesn't have much experience with weights, I really appreciate their expertise and tips to maximize the workout while avoiding injury. I also appreciate that this location has easy, free parking and the classes are a bit easier to book compared to their other location in the Pearl :)

I love the structure of this workout, the communication and support from the staff, and just the overall vibe!! It is a fun environment for exercise, just so, so positive all around.

A little about what to expect: My first visit, I was worried that it would move too fast and I wouldn't remember how to do each exercise, or that I would need to know how to do all the exercises already, but that wasn't the case. The staff walks you through it and demonstrates everything (including modifications), and there are screens on the wall showing you every move to do, the whole time. Throughout the session the staff goes around and watches every single person, offering adjustments and support so that you learn how to do the move correctly, and no one gets injured.

A little bit extra: Having done a few sessions, I can say that I have never seen the staff here be anything beyond vibrant, energetic, encouraging, and just plain happy! It really feels like they love their work, and that goes a long way towards helping me feel like I got the most out of my experience. This is the only F45 studio I have tried (so far!), but I cannot recommend this location enough.

I absolutely love this studio! Everyone here is incredibly supportive and kind. The owners/coaches, Malia and Alex, go above and beyond to ensure that everyone is performing each exercise with the proper form and technique.

When I first walked into this studio, I was hella scared and nervous about lifting heavier weights due to a back injury. However, each time I step into this class, I feel more and more confident to try exercises I've been fearful of attempting again. With the help and expertise of all the coaches, who make sure I'm moving safely, I can honestly say I am overcoming my fears and becoming strong both mentally and physically.

We are avid F45 goers back home in AZ and knew we needed to find somewhere to workout while we’re in town visiting for the week. We reached out to this location and was immediately impressed with the great customer service.

We were a little hesitant on the atmosphere of this gym compared to ours back home and after attending the first day at Raleigh hills, we had nothing to worry about!

The coaches, the space, the peers and staff have been nothing but very welcoming and friendly! It’s extremely clean and comfortable! We will definitely be coming back to this location EVERYTIME we are in town visiting!!

An amazing gym with incredible coaches and a really welcoming atmosphere. I was new to high intensity training when I tried F45 Raleigh Hills and didn't know what to expect. Malia, Alex, and the rest of the coaches were so enthusiastic and encouraging that I felt immediately at ease. Now I'm hooked! I love that the workouts are as challenging as you want them to be but also accessible for beginners. The space itself is really well done and makes for a great lunchtime or early morning workout. The F45 gym in Raleigh Hills is a wonderful place to get a great, quick workout! As an endurance athlete, I am very happy to find a gym where there isn't pressure to push beyond your limits or your goals, but still encouragement to push yourself. I was also happy to find a circuit type fitness gym that wouldn't just stick me on a treadmill. The instructors are great at providing instruction and giving feedback on form. The workouts are fast paced and always changing, so it stays fresh and exciting, making me want to keep coming back! The Raleigh Hills location is great, and I'm very excited about the upcoming Pearl Location in Portland!

I started coming here about a month and a half ago and these trainers make me want to get up for this 6am class! Love how organized the gym layout is, as well as clean. This gym just opened near my house and I am OBSESSED! The facility is clean, cool and organized. The coaches are warm and welcoming and as they get to know you they offer individual coaching with just enough push to keep you going. These 45 minute classes have taught me to love strength training again. I’ve had a really positive experience trialing this gym over the last couple of weeks and I plan to sign up for a membership at the end of my trial. The coaches push you to challenge yourself during the workouts but are also really encouraging, and most importantly, correct your form if you’re not doing an exercise the right way. The studio is clean and the equipment is new, which is a nice perk as well. Everyone I’ve met, from coaches to other members, have been friendly and positive making a comfortable space for people of all fitness levels to come and workout. Y’all! I’m on day 2 of my trial and here’s what I can tell you: Alex is a great teacher and coach, Malia is going to motivate you and cheer you on, Mikayla is such a great helper and cheerleader, and Makenna pushes and challenges you in the best way.
I haven’t been able to workout for the last 7mo or so, so it’s been a couple really tough workouts, but such a great space to do it in with great people to help you along.

Let me be the 1st to leave a review! First class at this location today. Opening day. Great workout/great music -Hollywood. Recently came from a Phoenix F45, where I’ve been a huge fan for the past 6 months. Found out last week that one was opening here, so I jumped on board immediately!
