I use appropriate methods based on your age, fitness level and personality. I enjoy working with clients of all ages, backgrounds and fitness abilities who seek optimal results. I am a good listener and I have a client-oriented approach that enables me to coach you at your own pace. My goal is to empower you for a happier, healthier life.

I loveeeee Farzin. I’ve only been training with him for a few weeks so far, but am already feeling a huge difference in strength and flexibility, not to mention significantly reduced stress and better sleep! Farzin has this incredible ability to push me farther than I ever thought possible while making me feel successful and confident the entire time. He’s so kind and motivating, and clearly an expert in his field. I feel so lucky to have him in my neighborhood!
Updating after my final (for now!!) session with Farzin — our time together completely flew. Never have I enjoyed working out more or learned more about my body and how to take care of it. I miss Farzin already and can’t wait to be back!
UPDATING AGAIN: Updating my review another year later, after completing a second session of training with Farzin. I reached back out to Farzin when I was about 10 weeks pregnant, hoping to work with him to safely stay active during my first pregnancy. I ended up training with him for my entire second trimester. I am amazed by how beautifully Farzin adapted our sessions to keep me strong, match my new energy levels and changing body, and help me feel physically, emotionally, and mentally prepared for this new life chapter. Thank you so much, Farzin! And for other mamas-to-be, I can't recommend Farzin more ❤️

I've been training with Farzin for several months now, and I can honestly say that he's the best personal trainer I've ever worked with. From the very beginning, he took the time to understand my fitness goals and tailor a workout plan that was specifically designed for me. His knowledge of anatomy and exercise physiology is second to none, and he's always able to explain the science behind each exercise in a way that's easy to understand.
But what really sets Farzin apart is his passion for what he does and his ability to see people through a lens void of judgment. He's not just going through the motions - he truly cares about his clients and their success. He wants to get to know you. Learn about your struggles beyond health and fitness. He's always willing to go the extra mile to help me reach my goals, whether that means adjusting my workout plan or providing motivation and encouragement. I've seen amazing results since I started working with Farzin, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, dedicated, and supportive personal trainer. I was 63 years old when I started with Farzin, hoping that he would help me age a bit better. Thanks to his guidance, I am at age 73 more agile than I was ten years ago: I handle stairs better, I pop down and up from the floor; I walk more steadily; I'm stronger. Farzin is nice, smart, and unbelievably well-qualified for this work (his advice about aches and pains far surpasses the direction I get from doctors). I feel lucky to have him in my life.

I was well aware that 95% of diets fail. I thought I knew how to exercise. Then I met Farzin. We talked about my goals and all he said was, "Come". So I came. Incorporating weights and all around fitness changed my life. Not only does Farzin coach exercise, but he helped me to live. Enjoy life. Move. Think positively. Train for my specific enjoyments. And, learn to accept the aging process and work around it. Any injury, he helped heal. He is amazing as a trainer, life coach, counselor and friend. You will never find better. While he is a perfectionist, he understands the flaws of humans. He has helped me with acceptance and a love of life in a more fit and healthy manner.

Farzin is, without question, the absolute best Personal Trainer - and so much more - 100% recommended and 5 plus stars are in order here! I have been fortunate enough to know Farzin as both my personal trainer - and he has become a trusted friend - for a number of years at this point. I can truly say that knowing and working with him has been life changing for me. He has an amazing skill to understand his clients needs, identify their goals and physical challenges, and put a varied workout program in place that helps them achieve and exceed those goals. I have watched him do this for me and my family. All the while exuding such a calm and positive presence. Not to mention that his gym and equipment are amazing - absolutely the best equipped gym you will find.
Farzin's many years of fitness training, and his knowledge of both nutrition and anatomy, are all impressive. No less than twice during my time with Farzin I have injured myself doing other activities. Both times, Farzin helped me not only completely overcome those injuries, he helped me strengthen those areas to reduce the chances of future injuries. I personally did not need any normal "western" medicine to completely recover from these injuries - no pain meds, no formal PT, etc. Just consistent time with Farzin and following his patient and encouraging guidance, pushing me exactly the right amount and reminding me that rest and recovery are important as well.
No matter what your fitness level currently is or what stage you are at in life, invest in yourself and let Farzin be your springboard to an overall healthier present and future. If you engage and follow the program Farzin puts in place for you, I cannot imagine being anything less than 100% successful in your fitness and health journey.

I am over 80 now and my workouts at Farzin Personal Training are giving me strength, flexibility and energy that I could never have without him. He is preserving my health, allowing me to continue with a very busy schedule while many of my friends are slowing down.
In particular, Farzin is responsive to a variety of problems I have had, like hip and knee replacements and heart rhythm issues. He guides my workouts in a way that both safeguards me and increases my capacity.
This approach to coaching goes beyond what may be available elsewhere.
Also, I love the coffee he makes, and I enjoy the banana.

Farzin has been our personal trainer for years. He has helped me come out of a pain in my back I thought I would have forever. He has truly changed my life. He has changed our families life. He has an innate knowledge and an eduction that helps people get to their personal goals of fitness. He also has the knowledge of a dietitian as well. He is the whole package and he is a sweetheart to boot. Anyone who is looking for a personal trainer needs to look no further. He IS the BEST!

I was apprehensive about starting training. I was about to turn 60 and I weighed almost 300 pounds. I didn’t think I was in good enough shape to even start training. And I didn’t want to deal with a trainer who would make me feel judged or scolded. I had nothing to worry about. Farzin is absolutely the best trainer I could have imagined. His sessions aren’t cheap, but working with him has been the best investment I’ve ever made. It has been decades since I was in such good physical condition. The actual workouts I do with Farzin are only a part of the story, but they are the most essential part. I couldn’t have done it on my own
Any good trainer will guide you through workouts focused on strength, balance, flexibility, and endurance, and Farzin does that. Any good trainer will be available to consult about diet and nutrition, sleep, and injury recovery. Farzin does that. What sets Farzin apart is how good-humored, patient, kind, and encouraging he is. In the end, this combination of traits is exactly what I value most in him.
I go to my regular gym on days I’m not working out with Farzin. I watch the trainers there working with clients all the time. I used to work out with the trainers there, too. I knew the workouts didn’t seem that great for me, and now I know why.
(1) Farzin’s studio is much better equipped than my regular gym. And everything is in excellent working order.
(2) I have fun working out with Farzin. It can be hard, but it’s never a slog. At my regular gym I found I dreaded some workouts because I knew I would be asked to do something I couldn’t really do. Farzin is great at adapting if I can’t do something.
(3) Even though I know that Farzin’s other clients my age are probably doing exercises similar to the ones I do, it always feels like my workouts are customized for me. I think it’s because he so clearly engages with me as an individual.
Farzin is also really fun to talk to. I tell him all my stories about my life and career, about coming out as gay when I was in my 30s, and about my wonderful husband. He is a great listener. I also love to hear his stories about his life and adventures. And he has a lot of stories!

I can honesty say that working with Farzin has changed my life! I was on the verge of getting shoulder surgery when I found Farzin Personal Training. And for a year, we worked on strengthening the muscles around my shoulder while getting stronger and leaner overall. I am so happy to say that this is the strongest and healthiest I've ever felt. :) I have so much respect and gratitude for his holistic approach in connecting the mind, body and soul. Farzin pours so much knowledge, time, kindness, dedication and focus into his clients and it really shows. It's so much more than just personal training on a physical level and I'm so thankful to have met someone so special. Farzin has transformed my body like no other food, supplement, or biohack has been able. At age 55, and having tried many types of exercise, working out with Farzin is, by far, the most effective tool I've found for changing my physical structure and reclaiming my flexibility. He's extraordinarily skilled and knowledgeable, incredibly dedicated to his clients, and can almost intuit what my body needs each workout. Besides that, he's just a terrific guy!

I have worked out with Farzin for about 4.5 years. It is an investment in my physical and mental health. I had previously tried 2 different gym memberships and a different personal trainer but quickly quit. At the big gyms I was intimidated by the machines and the clientele who seemed younger, fit and knowledgable. With the first trainer I actually injured myself because he wouldn't listen to the feedback I gave him.
My original goal was merely to improve my fitness. I was afraid to do different things, but with Farzin's expert coaching I gained in strength, balance, flexibility, endurance and confidence.
After working with him for about 4 months, I had the confidence to try to take off some weight. He gave me good suggestions, held me accountable and encouraged me to stick to my plan. Slowly I took off about 25 pounds and have kept it off (through the pandemic!) to this day. I feel more positive, energetic and able to move better as a result of the weight loss.
He listens to me and creates a workout that works for me. If I am burned out or stressed out, he comes up with just the right workout to release the stress and give me energy. If I have injured one part of my body doing something outside the gym, he works other parts of my body while my injury heals. And, when I am feeling strong, there is just the right amount of push to help me move ahead. There is always something positive in a workout with Farzin.
The older I get (I am 67) the more I appreciate the time, energy, skill, patience, kindness and positive attitude that Farzin invests in his clients. It is a privilege to work with him.

Working out with Farzin has been a great experience for me. Farzin customizes a workout plan that is specifically designed to improve your weak points and to achieve your goals. He uses many different exercises to keep the workouts fresh and interesting while interjecting a positive and healthy attitude for transformation of your body and mind into a better state of being. Having worked out my entire life, I appreciated his level of attention to planning so that I would not get hurt, which through my own planning I was able to do myself!!

Farzin was quick to recognize that my breathing problems needed medical attention and when the doctor was done with me Farzin put me on a personalized training program to rebuild my strength and confidence. The "crepe paper" skin is gone, my Parkinson's symptoms are being addressed in a positive manner with a variety of exercises and activities, and I feel great!

Finally a trainer who focuses on me which every work out is interesting and challenging. I have trained for two years with Farzin - my goals at 62 yrs are still being able to go Heli-Skiing in Canada and trek at high altitudes in Peru and Nepal. I have never felt stronger and confident training with Farzin twice and sometimes three times a week! Forget spending money on nails and clothes - your health and fitness is so much more important!

It is absolutely true that you will see outstanding results and surpass personal goals under Farzin’s training programs. However, beyond the superior attention and expertise you receive from him, what I would like to convey is how much you will enjoy the experience of training with Farzin. Each and every workout with Farzin is unique and interesting. The variety of exercises and tasks Farzin coaches you through keeps you engaged at each step of the journey. I would also like to emphasis that Farzin is a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He is emotionally invested in the care and nurturing of his clients. He has great empathy for your well being (physically and psychologically) and his intuition in determining how far he can enable you to push yourself is uncanny. Since meeting Farzin in 1992 in Amsterdam, he has had a great impact on my life.
Thanks to him I became more aware of how important physical fitness is " a healthy body is home to a healthy state of mind" which is part of his philosophy on life in general.
Over the years Farzin has given me so much advise and motivation that it is impossible to thank him for it in my lifetime.

I have been using personal trainers my entire competitive career but Farzin is by far the best I've ever trained with. It's not just personal training but 'individualized' training to be more specific. Most gyms have trainers that can guide you through a scripted program but Farzin brings his experience as a master trainer and his interest in getting to know you to make every workout specific to you, your goals and your level of conditioning.
Nothing compares to having a master trainer and an entire fully equipped gym all to yourself for an hour to get focus and some serious undistracted work done!

As someone who has found fitness later in life and who has earned my own personal training certification, I am very grateful to have met and worked with Farzin. Farzin is a life long athlete who embraces health at every level mentally and physically and is a true expert in functional fitness. He is extremely thoughtful in the workout regiment he designs for each person and is very knowledgable and a great teacher in doing exercises the right way.
