I was looking for a place to work off stress. I not only did that, but my body has been transformed with more muscle and the community built has been amazing. Kickboxing with Fierce Fitness are the best workout classes I’ve ever taken. Great way to get the heart rate up and tone the whole body. Sasha and Wendy are amazing instructors. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! What an experience; what a workout! Best environment, best prices, best coach! I read numerous reviews before signing up & saw that people kept raving about how awesome "Coach Wendy" was. After finally signing up for the Introductory Package, I can honestly say, I totally agree with the previous positive reviewers! If I could give both Wendy & Fierce Fitness Kickboxing 10-Stars each, I certainly would! All age groups are welcomed (my young adult daughter & I attended our 1st session together, & I have since returned on my own). Whether you're a seasoned professional, or a newbie (like myself), I highly recommend Fierce Fitness Kickboxing to anyone who wants a total body workout in a safe, professional, clean, organized, and fun environment.

Do you have a New Year's goal to try something new? Do you want to have fun, get sweaty, and let out stress all at once? Want to feel like a bad*** and get a GREAT workout? Then come here! Do not hesitate. Wendy (the owner and head coach), Sasha, and Hilary are all FANTASTIC and you will not regret your decision. Whether you are a seasoned kickboxing pro, an "I tried this in college once" kind of person, or have never ever done kickboxing before, there is a place here for you. The classes are fun, high energy, and a good workout, but it's the people that make the place. The coaches know their stuff and will teach you things you never thought you could do, and your fellow classmates are there for moral support. I had never done kickboxing before coming to Fierce, I was a complete beginner, but from the start I knew that that was not an issue, even though I was in a class with people who had been doing it for a while. Sure, the first class I was a little lost and thought this was really hard, but the directions were clear and concise, the workout got my heart beating and my sweat on, and after a class or two I started to recognize the names of the moves. And what new workout isn't a little confusing and hard at first?! That's the point! Now I come every week, 2-3 times a week. It's the best therapy one can get! So stop reading this and sign up now! I've been coming to Fierce Fitness for about 6 months now, and it's by far the best group workout I've tried! The classes are hard, but accessible, especially for someone new to kickboxing. And the coaches are super friendly, helpful, and motivational. The workout varies from class-to-class, which keeps things interesting, but we also always work on fundamentals. All in all, I absolutely recommend joining

I’m writing this review after taking 10 classes here. I joined the gym to work out and sweat. I believe Kickboxing is a sport that’s healthy for us both physically and mentally. As you are punching the bag you got to relieve so much stress and negative energies. After 10 classes, I’m proud to announce that I’m not only healthier, stronger, and happier, I’m also so much better at kickboxing. I’ve been to a good number of kickboxing places all over the country, but I’ve never met a coach as good as Wendy. She always gives you personal attention and makes the best adjustments. Whether you are new or experienced in kickboxing, you will enjoy this place. If you are new, I highly recommend taking 1-2 private lessons with Wendy. The private lessons helped me tremendously because I never had good coaches and have been doing many things wrong. Also, the location of this place is amazing, right next to Bridgeport Village!

Wendy is incredibly nice and made me feel comfortable as a beginner to the class. This class will challenge you, but you’ll leave with a smile on your face. I love this gym! I used to train here before the pandemic, and I'm so excited to finally be back. Although it is under new ownership, Wendy has maintained the high energy and supportive atmosphere that I came to love.

My teenage daughter and I have been taking kickboxing classes together at Fierce for about 6 months now and it is the best. It was a little outside our comfort zone to start with, being used to pilates (me) and cheer (her) but Wendy and Sasha are both incredible teachers who are caring and patient. The classes are pretty fast paced but working at your own level is easy to do and once we got the hang of the basics it quickly became a favorite part of our week. Good bonding and great workout. So worth leaving our comfort zones!

I started coming to Fierce about 4 weeks ago and I can’t even begin to explain how much I love this place. Everyone is so welcoming, the workouts are insane and every one is different and hard in its own ways, and the staff are great and extremely helpful in guiding you through correct movements and such as you learn the ropes. By far the most efficient workout I’ve done yet.

I am sooo glad I noticed this gym just driving by one day last summer. I took one class and immediately bought a membership. This gym is very clean and well maintained, the music is upbeat and fun, the instructors are experienced and very knowledgeable. Brittany goes the extra mile and helps correct form and technique during the classes and gives great advice on diet and pre/post workout tips. LOVE THIS GYM!!!

I was an injured runner 5 years ago when I first tried Fierce Fitness. I had no idea what I was doing, but everyone was so welcoming and encouraging. I instantly fell in love with the workouts and the community - and I've been hooked ever since! I cannot say enough about Fierce and instructor Brittany. I get my butt kicked every time, and I just keep coming back for more. I've gained strength, confidence, fitness, coordination, health, and friends - and my running has improved. On top of all that, my Fierce community supported me through the sudden death of my father last year. The support and workouts saved my mental health.

Since joining last year, Fierce Fitness has made a huge impact in my life. I actually enjoy working out!! I’ve tried so many different fitness classes, been to lots of gyms, and this is by far the most FUN workout ever. The instructors change up each class so no class is ever the same. I enjoy kickboxing so much that I stepped up my game by doing one on one training sessions with Brittany. She is such an amazing teacher who is helping me to become stronger and pushes me beyond what I thought I was physically capable of. I have more confidence and feel totally empowered. I'm new to kickboxing and not the most coordinated when it comes to physically demanding activities. All of my fears were put to rest thanks to Brittany with her clear instruction and patience while I learned the moves. I'm now preparing for my first title match. Their new location in Tigard is a spacious, clean, friendly atmosphere, and offer a nice variety of workouts, for beginners and to the more experienced. I absolutely LOVE this place!!! ...for so many reasons. I joined Fierce Fitness about 2 & 1/2 months ago looking for a way to get back into shape. When I came to a free trial day at the new Tigard location, I was greeted by Brittany and Candice’s smiling faces. They were both so friendly, and weren’t pushy at all. This gym is open to all levels of fitness, and they help you with your individual goals. I was also so happy to see how much we actually punch and kick bags (not just air kickboxing). I’ve played volleyball, basketball, ran long distances, lifted weights, have done at-home Beach Body work outs, and I can easily say, I’ve never sweat so much in my life! These 50 minute work outs are so much fun, and go by really fast! Not only are the instructors incredible, but the members are just as encouraging. I needed a class to hold me accountable, and feel motivated to actually go. Fierce Fitness has done just that, and I’m SO much stronger than I’ve been in a very long time! If you give this gym a try, you will not regret it.

Huge fan of Fierce Fitness here! I have been a member since 2009, when I was engaged to get married and looking to get fit for my wedding. Nine years later, I am now married and have an 18-month-old girl, and I have continued to go to FF get back to my pre-baby shape! I was excited to find out that FF moved to Tigard, and is just down the street from my new home. Candice and Brittany are fantastic instructors and get me burning some serious calories! The new studio is spacious and clean, and the equipment is well maintained. And you will seriously work up a sweat here. Love that the studio is open and welcoming to all fitness levels, including new moms like myself.

I had done kickboxing classes in the past and when I moved to Portland I had a hard time finding a class that I liked, until I found Fierce Fitness. It is one of the best workouts hands down! The two instructors are amazing and very informative and helpful. They make sure to come around and make sure you are doing the moves correctly. It is also a really supportive environment where you don’t feel like you are being judged. Everyone is helping one another. I can’t recommend them enough. If I still lived in Portland I’d still be a member. If you are looking for a positive environment and an amazing workout then this is the place!!

By far the best head-to-toe workout I've ever experienced! The owners/instructors truly care about you and push you to work at your 100%, whatever that may be. I love these classes, I love the people, I love the instructors. I love fierce fitness. After 2.5 years I am still challenged every time I walk through the door. I am a much happier person when I work out on a regular basis and when I leave this studio I feel like gold. Prices are awesome for twice a week.
