VERY clean gym with excellent working equipment and scan code entrance. Cardio, weights, machines, and battleropes! Locker room is cleaned regularly, esp showers. Staff is limited, but times present are posted. No sauna.

I have been using this facility for the past five summer, when I visit Eugene. Although I don't see two of the owners very often, the trainer is there most of the time. My correspondence with the owners have always been friendly and prompt. Most of the patrons are respectful and scrupulous about cleaning the equipment. The facility is well run, although the paper towel dispensers are sometimes empty, making it hard to clean the equipment. There is a good variety of equipment; the owners maintain the equipment, and I've rarely seen a machine out of order. Their rates are reasonable, and it is nice to be able to use the facility 24/7.

I am changing my original review realizing I wrote it in a not great headspace and this gym doesn't deserve that.
Honestly it is an affordable place to train and has everything you'd need to get a good workout in.
Yes there are some loud guests and yes it can be frustrating when younger guests are hanging out on equipment but as the owner said in response to my previous review it's better that they be dedicating time to fitness than other activities.

Went to 1440 for about a year. Getting signed up here is a bit of a hassle. Staffing is hit or miss, and when you show up for an appointment you have to wait until they notice you to let you in. I watched many people try the door, and wait awhile before ultimately leaving after I got signed up. Bummer to see that didnβt really change over the course of a year. As for the facility itself, itβs pretty small and when itβs busy youβre definitely waiting for equipment. They do allow high school students, and they lack gym etiquette. That can be pretty annoying, as the staff isnβt checking on anyone or monitoring appropriate use of equipment. There also isnβt much airflow, and it gets very hot and sticky. Iβve noticed the bathrooms have quite a bit in the way of maintenance issues. Overall itβs a decent neighborhood gym, but I donβt think itβs worth the price. There just isnβt enough equipment, and the building isnβt maintained enough to be worth it.

Old, dirty walls, only 1 usable bathroom stall among 4, 1 of the 3 sinks was clogged, on some machines you couldn't insert the pins, some were hard to adjust to your size, few elliptiptical machines which all face the front window of the shopping center. A big disappointment.

Not really happy with this place... they lied to me repeatedly until I quit. I had real issues and they just told me what I wanted to hear... they never actually took action. Lied about the equipment weight ratings too, they are lucky I didn't break their treadmills that were supposedly rated for 500 lbs... not even close.

Very impressed with Fitness 1440! Iβve been here for a couple months now. I left my last gym for bad management and sanitary reasons. Here they run a tight ship and the equipment is regularly cleaned and sanitized. The management and workers have always treated me with the upmost respect. I would recommend this gym to both friends and family.

Even though this gym is decent. The lack of enforcement to following Covid related mandates is very concerning. Watching an employee sit around at the peak of busy and say not a word to anyone entering without a mask is slightly appalling. There are no visible signs or posters with even a suggestion to wear a mask. If health and fitness is a key priority, why not enforce health related mandates that concern the health and safety of your clientele! I will be finding a new gym.

I love this gym. Honestly, it's getting better all the time. The staff is super nice, there's only three, but they're awesome. They have a really good deal for veterans and police on their membership. It's usually really clean in there too. I mean, I'm not asking for a lot in a gym, barbell, dumbbells, squat rack, treadmill. This place has all that, plus some other really cool stuff. They also offer classes like Zumba, some one-on-one stuff, and nutritional classes. Great gym.

I love this gym, itβs like a big playground for grown-ups! The boot camp is best in town and I just love the space. They have tons of great machines and fun stuff to do. The only thing I donβt like is the location! I wish this place were closer to downtown, Iβd be there every single day!

Overall my experience here as just been ok. For a long time there were only a few classes offered which was disappointing, but they've recently added a lot more. Unfortunately the owner of the building decided to cut the space in half, resulting in a much smaller facility. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Four stars for the friendly staff and the class instructors are all really nice and helpful.

I have been going to this gym before its acquisition by Fitness 1440. The equipment has not been updated in years. Its worn, outdated, or otherwise broken. As of the writing of this review, a remodeling has taken place -effectively removing a seated barbell press machine and another machine for the shoulders. This is on top of the removal of two squat racks, and a cable machine when this place was Absolute Fitness. In short, the acquisition by Fitness 1440 has not only neglected equipment, but also removed equipment from the gym. The focus of this gym has shifted to zumba classes, weightloss programs, and crossfit. So if you are looking for a serious gym with updated equipment, space, squat racks, and a place to deadlift, I would look else where.

Just wanted to give a shout out to this place. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend in my last couple of months as I ended up leaving the country sooner than expected, but the times I was there, I felt very welcomed and motivated. Gyms can be scary, but all the staff are non judgmental and extremely helpful when asked questions or training their classes. I'd recommend this gym to anyone - fair price, a beautiful gym, and sincere folks.

I work out at gyms all over the country and I love this place! Its so wide open and spacious with an incredible functional training area! Free weights, Cardio, Boot-camps, its got something for everyone. The staff is really friendly!
