Gratitude Strength Club is a boutique gym in Hillsboro offering hands-on coaching and training, as well as group classes for Olympic weightlifting and strength building. Our gym was established in 2021, the gym is conveniently located at 2092 Northeast Aloclek Drive Suite 519 in Hillsboro, Oregon. With a dedicated focus on strength building and weightlifting, Gratitude Strength Club is a gym that cultivates a supportive environment where individuals can improve their fitness and achieve their strength goals under the guidance of experienced and knowledgeable coaches.

Love this place! Just finished their on ramp program and have been to several classes. Katie was great to work with as my on ramp coach. She is VERY knowledgeable and took the time to figure out what does and doesn’t work for me and made sure I stayed safe as I learned proper technique. The strength and sweat classes are a great mix of weight training and cardio that really get your blood pumping by the end. Also, the next day I get those super satisfying sore muscles that let you know you’ve had a good workout. If you’re looking for a great workout with some great people I highly recommend GSC!

Emphasize is on Strength workouts but they are combined with some CrossFit type workouts, so best of both worlds!
They also offer weightlifting classes throughout the day, so pick your fun!
Coaches are great, facility is fantastic, community is warm and welcoming.

Great spot with plenty of space. I personally don't take advantage of the coaching available but whenever I need a bit of advice, the coaches are never afraid to help me out. Great people. Very happy to be apart of their community.

This gym is amazing. I did the free week trial and then signed up and am so glad I did. I showed up and followed the programming here consistently for the last 7 months and it completely transformed my life for the better. The community and coaches are incredibly supportive and welcoming, no matter your fitness level. Definitely recommend!

By far the best Crossfit gym you can find around here. It is more weightlifting oriented which makes it super challenging for whomever want to advance and improve your skills. I like that the owner and staff are super involved and it almost feel like a private session on every class!

Ethan is awesome, I haven’t met Lindsey yet. I appreciate that the value of gratitude is literally in the name of their business. Coach and the members are welcoming, there is quite a diverse group here- all fitness levels welcome. I started just a few months ago, coming from a place of not working out, certainly not lifting weights, and dealing with a lot of lower back and hip pain. Between the strengthening and stretching Ethan has coached on, this pain has subsided significantly, while going to chiropractors regularly wouldn't help the pain long term. I can’t say enough thanks to Ethan and GSC!

Such a fabulous gym and community. Friends are made quickly here! It’s been amazing to be part of a diverse (in age, ethnicity, stage of life and way of life), inclusive and truly welcoming space.
Lindsey and Ethan are awesome coaches - they’re incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and able to meet anyone at whatever stage they’re in on their fitness journey.

The gym and equipment are top notch. The community is one of a kind. You won’t be judged or looked down upon. There are athletes of every skill level, and all the workouts can be scaled to your level.
Ethan has been wonderful to work out with! He is very outgoing and knows how to keep the sessions fun but productive. He knows his stuff and provides very helpful advice and tips throughout the workout. He will help you on your technique and progress, and give you the motivation you need to keep going.
Lindsey has helped me achieve my goals so far and I love our sessions. She makes it fun and enjoyable to train and she is very motivating and encouraging!

This place is a hidden gem! after trying many gyms and even a gym set up at home, I ended up in GSC which showed the best results!
Previously I use to train for long-distance running with little focus on strength training. After training with Ethan on strength training, I can see a clear improvement in my form and endurance levels in running. GSC has an Amazing team of dedicated trainers who give a great level of attention in every aspect of your workout and fitness independent of your age or fitness level (yes even if you have never been to the gym in your life).
One may argue that all strength training material is already online and if you have a gym set up in the garage you are all set, however, you will surely miss on some subtle aspects of technique and without a watchful eye will result in permanent physical damage in your form. That's where Ethan and Lindsey (GSC trainers) are amazing in correcting the subtle mistakes in technique which can show a big impact.
The group training sessions are great and they look more like 1-hour personal training sessions 5 days a week and multiple times during a day which gives a lot of flexibility depending on your work schedule. These sessions are designed in such a way that you don't have to worry much about what exercises you have to do or how much you have to work out to achieve your goals. It's all taken care of and even more if you just show up.

I am Geetha.
At the age of 71, I entered the gym for the first time hoping for a solution to my knee pain. The first few weeks were painful. Ethan helped me with basic exercises like agility ladder to restore the balance in my gait with an improved posture. He helped me strengthen the leg muscles to manage my arthritic knees. I am now able to work with rowers, monster bands, elastic bands and do squats.
With continued practice at home, and a new roster of exercises every session, I look forward to my weekly training. Many thanks to Ethan for making exercise less painful and more rewarding.

I am 82 years old. You might wonder what an old man has got to do with a gym. Therein lies the essence of this review.
Being an academician, I never entered a gym, assuming that it was only for those who wished to grow muscles. Thanks to GSC and Ethan, my perception has changed.
Ethan observed and assessed my strengths and areas of improvement, to come out with a training plan appropriate for my age and capability. To keep it interesting, Ethan changes the exercises every session. I find that my posture has improved, agility and stability are better, aches have reduced and I get more restful sleep. The overall quality of my life has improved.
Thanks to GSC for bringing zest back into my life. I look forward to continuing my training at GSC which has given me many health benefits.

Gratitude Strength Club (GSC) has reshaped the way I view gyms and personal training. My parents and I started training with Ethan almost a year ago when we neither knew what to expect from the training nor our capabilities.
Through various techniques and exercises, Ethan has helped my parents and me with improving mobility, stability and agility. My parents are both over 70 and Ethan has trained them with techniques for fall prevention, posture correction and stability using minimal-impact exercises. I have greatly benefited from Ethan’s training as he constantly encourages me to push the envelope of my exercise abilities.
The regular training by Ethan at GSC has helped us keep mentally and physically fit through these challenging times.

I started coming based on a recommendation from a friend. It's an all inclusive gym that celebrates everyone who puts in the work in class. It doesn't matter what you bench or squat, just that you are moving closer towards your goals.
I started doing mobility work with Ethan and it's not an exaggeration to say it changed my life. I thought I was destined to have tight hips and limited hamstring flexibility for the rest of my life. Through working with him one on one and in class I've never felt better. I am truly pain free and so much more mobile than I was 9 months ago. Ethan and Lindsey know what they are doing and they make me feel great for coming and working out!

I love Gratitude Strength Club! I started going here late last summer (2021). I started personal training with Ethan, and in one month he helped me gain enough strength and mobility to take daily classes.
I have learned so much from him and from Lindsey. They are both excellent trainers and coaches. They truly care about each individual and make sure you get the help you need to do your best and become stronger.
I looked for years for a gym like this, and it is exactly what I was looking for. I love the combination of Olympic-style weight lifting and training/conditioning exercises. I now feel stronger and more able to take on life with this training.
I love going to the 12 noon class and everyone cheers each other on. This is the place to be!
