I joined Orangetheory to get in shape and now I'm in the most serious long term relationship I've ever been in. No red flags here, just orange.

The coaches are incredible β€” Shout out Coach Gena and Coach Adam! They equal parts motivator and fitness magicians. They push you just enough to get better and cheer you on when you need it. Correcting form and ensuring you're getting the best workout.

Every class feels like a party where everyone is sweating. I love the mix of strength, cardio, and just enough competition to keep it interesting. The energy is contagious and the playlists are fire. The community here at OTF West Beaverton makes it so easy to show up, even when you’re tired and feeling a bit drained. Always a fist bump and hello waiting for you!

I’ve gotten stronger, faster, and maybe just a little obsessed with checking my splat points. If you’re thinking about joining, do it β€” your future self (and your glutes) will thank you. πŸ’ͺπŸ”₯

I’ve taken classes with several of the trainers here. The best one by far is Gina β€” she’s friendly, attentive, and always helps correct your form. However, a few other trainers, including Lauren and Adam, didn’t seem very engaged or interested in correcting form unless specifically asked.

I had a membership for about 3–4 months but eventually stopped going because I wasn’t a fan of the coaching style or the evening class options, which is when I usually have time to work out. The studio could also use better ventilation.

That said, the front desk staff are always very friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated every time I came in.

I have been at this studio since early 2022 and it is my favorite in the area! Coaches Gena and Adam know their stuff and make class fun while also correcting form (maximizing workout and minimizing injury). And our new studio manager, Hillary, is simply the best. I had to take a few moments to rave about a few folks in particular at Orange Theory Beaverton who have made my experience so incredible.

I've worked out at a few Orange Theory locations now and this Beaverton team goes above and beyond in every sense of the word. Lauren, the General Manager, has been the best since I signed up two months ago. She regularly checks in with me about my experience, is always so helpful if I have absolutely any questions, encourages me to do my best while also being kind to myself, and is always making me laugh with her epic sense of humor.

Gina has become my go-to coach. I was recently injured and she helped me find ways that I could move while taking into account my situation. She greets you every time you walk through the door, makes you feel a part of the team, and makes the workouts so fun.

I also have to give a massive shout out to Courtnie and Emi at their South Waterfront sister studio for helping me navigate intricate membership details and being so incredibly patient with me when it comes to understanding all of the logistics.

I come from playing team sports and have been missing that sense of connection. I feel beyond grateful to have found what feels like family in Orange Theory Beaverton and South Waterfront and it's all because of these amazing humans! Thank you Lauren, Gina, Courtnie, and Emi!

I have been attending OTF and specifically this location for about six months now. I love the studio layout and the supportive and fun staff, which makes all the difference in the people they attract and environment when you are there.

I love the no pressure workouts, the music, the community. The workouts change from day-to-day, and there are always challenges that allow you to push your limits. I’m never bored, and going never feels like a chore. Most importantly, I am so happy with my improved health and athleticism.

I’m in my mid 40s and realize there is so much more my body can do than I realized. Give it a try!

OTF West Beaverton has been game changer for me. I went from couch potato to running 5 and 10k’s regularly and discovered how much I LOVE running and moving my body. EDIT: I've reduced my rating to 2 stars due to their coercive retention policies. The service itself is great, but they don't want to let you leave if you need to take some months off. Be prepared to be billed an extra month, have to talk to a manager, and fill out a bunch of forms...just to cancel.

Original review: Awesome staff and very streamlined onboarding. They got me up to speed quickly and never made me feel pressured or singled out (unlike a lot of other gyms / fitness groups I've experienced.) I felt encouraged/pushed to give my best without being overwhelmed. Great stuff!

Way too expensive, in my opinion. I was a first time client and decided to join a free class to see what all the hype was about. While the music was great, I felt bored with the workout. In the class, only 3 options were available: rower, treadmill, & cardio. (Not enough variety for me) With the cardio, the trainer never truly assisted with showing how to properly do the cardio; instead we were told to look up at a monitor & watch how the woman did it on the tv. It was quite irritating and frustrating. I ultimately decided to not continue b/c for what they offer, it’s not worth a $110/$169 per month membership.

I wasn’t even sure what Orange theory was about, but was excited when I learned it was all scheduled HIIT classes. I need somebody there to push me, especially in a group setting, and that’s exactly what I got. Everybody there is nice and welcoming, They didn’t make me feel bad about not working out in so long, or that I was slower than others. The nice thing is you do the best for you and the coach is there to encourage you to keep pushing through. It’s great for people like me that need the motivation and accountability. Can’t wait to include these classes into my weekly routine!

Not since I was a collegiate athlete, have I been pushed in a way in which an OTF class does. I thrive on competing against myself earning those coveted splat points. OTC changed my life... I used to run outside and never believed in treads but the instructors motived me to up my performance, strengthen my core, endurance, and feel better about myself. I lost weight, gained muscle, and leaned up. First month I could start seeing a difference, second month people started noticing, and every month afterwards it become more and more noticeable. Trick is sticking with it... I started twice a week then up to 6 days... Make sport a daily habit.

Being able to see my heart rate, and having that number be color-coded based on effort, really helps me hold myself accountable during the workout. Sometimes you "feel" like you're working hard, but knowing my *actual* heart rate helps me determine whether I'm pushing myself hard enough or whether I've got more to give. And though I'm a very reserved person, I appreciate how welcoming both the staff and all the members are. It feels like I've joined an emotionally intelligent tribe that knows how to encourage me while also accepting me for wherever I am in my fitness and health journey.

Out of all of the OTFs I have been to, this one is my favorite - it’s all about the people!

Members = Super welcoming! Lots of of high-fives and cheering each other on. Definitely a camaraderie feeling.
Staff = Very responsive, super helpful and very welcoming.
Coaches = Definitely top tier! These coaches are super positive and really take the time to individually check on you and speak directly to you during the workout. Very motivating and helpful. The price point of OTF is partially to have this group β€œpersonal training”, so I’m glad they are delivering on this.

Been to about 10 classes total so far. I love all the trainers that I’ve met so far, and I love the front desk people as well. Always so friendly and caring. I do wish it were more affordable, and I wish that classes you didn’t use one month carried over into the next since you’re paying for them either way. But besides all that, it’s great! I always wanna push myself to get myself into the orange zone and get more splat points and burn more calories. I had an awesome workout! It was an inviting space that let me feel comfortable. (How often can one say that going into a gym for The first time?) The trainer Melody made it a great experience. They are thorough in getting you up to speed and help correct form in a non pretentious way.

I absolutely LOVE Orangetheory Fitness (especially the Beaverton one). Growing up, I was a high level competitive gymnast so I endured rigorous workouts that pushed me to my limits. Since quitting 11 years ago, I have been struggling with keeping a workout routine, pushing myself and not giving up when I get tired, and a lack of knowledge when it comes to weight exercises. Orangetheory has literally fixed all of those problems for me! Looking up at the screen and seeing myself in the Orange or Red zone makes me push even harder to earn more splat points. I'm held accountable to my workouts because if I don't show up I get charged. AND, having a trainer there telling you what to do is so helpful because I don't have to plan anything! Honestly, if you're new to working out or a veteran, I would definitely recommend Orangetheory! Especially the Beaverton one because everyone who works there is incredible and it's like a small community.
