I’ve been a member for nearly a year now. I didn’t realize how nice the Beaverton location was until I just travelled across country for two weeks and went to various other PF’s. Saw much older equipment everywhere and nothing close to the cleanliness of this location.

I’ve always been impressed seeing staff members taking their turns dusting, vacuuming, checking equipment, refilling washing stations, etc. when a machine goes down I’ve noticed that it’s usually repaired within a week and there is usually another machine for the same muscle group.

I truly love how, clean they keep it. The air is always good not heavy or humid. Lots of classes, Michelle is so easy to chat with. She'll get you thru a workout you thought, "no way" too. She's been both, a coach to me and my son. It's nice to focus on my workout and not have to keep my son engaged. She's great at keeping workouts fresh and fun.

I couldn't be happier here! Joined about 2 months ago, being fairly new to the gym atmosphere I wandered around the first few visits not sure what I was doing. Michelle, the fitness trainer, changed all that, wow! she's the best! I took the "design your own program" and she gave me a foundation to start. But it was when I started taking her classes my motivation spiked. Michelle is really encouraging, friendly, enthusiastic, motivating, and helpful. If your movement is off, she'll let you know, avoiding unnecessary injury and getting the most out of your workouts is a huge plus. I'm 64 yrs old, spent half of 2024 ill and experienced a lot of muscle wasting. Now I actually look forward to going to the gym. Whaaaat! Never thought I'd say that! but I think I'm kinda hooked. Thanks Michelle, AND the entire team here, everyone's been super nice, the gym is clean, love the variety of equipment, the classes, and all the extra perks of a the black card membership. So I am a black card member and I have some issues. Mostly it’s customer service based. I tend to visit in the mornings and some of the staff are less than friendly. I really notice this when I try to check in to the spa area. On one occasion I mentioned five cleaning stations were out of towels. The people at the counter shrugged me off. Eventually one guy went out and put towels in a single machine. I want to be happy hear but the attitudes of some of the employees seriously need an adjustment.

I’ve had a membership since December. In the last month or so I’ve gone at 5:00am to work out when they’re supposed to be open and at least 3 or 4 times it’s closed with no explanation. They claim it’s a scheduling issue but it keeps happening and they’re not offering any sort of compensation. Super frustrating and I wouldn’t recommend people choose planet fitness for this reason.

The staff at this location rarely clean and the upkeep is very poor compared to other locations. Ive seen the same empty bottles left on cardio machines day after day, have never seen staff walking around cleaning bathrooms or machines. Comparatively, the 99 and durham location staff are consistently wiping down machines, spraying down bathrooms etc. better staff management and employee work ethic needed here.

Every Monday the club is supposed to open at 5am but the opener either is 15-20 min late or never shows up! It’s really frustrating when you are trying to get a work out in before work. It would be great if the gym would put a different person opening since this one is so sporadic! I canceled my membership two months ago at the location. Now I am in a different state, I was surprised to be charged an annual membership fee on a card I never set up to be charged on, they charge my annual membership fee to a debit card. I had on file for lead drinks and things. When I called the gym to inquire, I was told there are no notes regarding my cancellation.

It’s incredibly frustrating that I have to take time out of my day to address this issue, especially since when I canceled to begin with I had to take time out of my day because they purposely make it inconvenient and Now, I’m stuck spending more time on the phone, being put on hold, the staff is hoping I’ll hang up before resolving the issue so they can keep charging me the assistant manager Danny then implied that I was lying about my cancellation, the notes show I haven’t visited the gym in over two months. I am in a different state if they charge a card, I never set up to be charged on. I’m actually baffled on how they charged it.

I highly recommend recording any conversations regarding cancellations to protect yourself. they are not honest we will not own their mistakes. We will gaslight you. I usually get a total of three times

Very disappointed, don't sign up with planet fitness after 8 years of not knowing that a membership that was supposed to be cancelled on my request never did and now I owe them a lot of money in fees and no one told me tell today 8 years later. This is a good gym. They keep it real clean. Most of the staff are good, they have their favorite customers and choose who they will greet and say “good by” to. They try to keep everyone happy by not enforcing the rules. People bring bags in the floor, people don’t clean the machines, lots of people don’t put the plates back, often paper towels are empty. Most of the staff hangs out behind the desk playing on their phones. The equipment is in great shape, again the facility is very clean and well maintained. The 30 minute area is a waste of space. No one is ever in it.

THANK YOU for having a CLEAN GYM! I see the employees dusting the tops of the machines and stocking the cleaning stations regularly. After leaving 24 Hour Fitness due to its filth, I know I made the right choice by coming to Planet Fitness. The machines are clean and spaced appropriately, there's tons of free-weights throughout the gym and the only thing missing is an Olympic Lifting area but I understand why they don't have one. The women's lockers seem clean and you don't need to bring a lock since they offer self-locking options.

Planet Fitness has become my absolute happy place! The facility is great and super clean, but what really makes it special is Michelle, the trainer who leads the group classes. She's amazing! When I first started, I was pretty nervous about joining group fitness classes, but Michelle created such a welcoming environment that my confidence grew with every session. Not the best, surprised how old and outdated all the machines are. Just moved here to this area and was expecting a much nicer gym. The Tigard triangle location got me spoiled. They have less staff there and keep the gym cleaner and are more attentive and friendly. This gym has usually has 4 staff at the front desk, yet, the trash cans are piled up, no soap in bathroom, lockers and bathrooms could be cleaner. Also paper towel machines rarely work around gym. They keep the gym too warm, I asked about this and was shrugged off, could not get an answer. Plus the floor shakes on the treadmills. This place can use a remodel and a better layout with friendlier staff and modern equipment being in the nicer area of town it is in.

Just transferred here after moving back to the area, I used to go to 24 but I am so thankful I switched! I was so impressed with the cleanliness of this facility as well as the outstanding customer service. Shoutout to Matthew M. who really elevated my experience as I checked out my new gym location and its amenities. He was extremely knowledgeable when I had questions about upgrading to the black card and was exceptionally thorough in making sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my workout. This place is amazing. I have belonged to multiple gyms over the years and Planet Fitness is by far the best quality and value that I have seen. I mean seriously, $10 bucks a month (+ the $75 yearly service charge), but still totally worth it. What are the other options? I was looking at Anytime Fitness and they were $39/month (not sure about their sign up or service fees) and their location near my house wasn’t nearly as nice not to mention as clean as PF. Then there is Orange Fitness…nope I do not want to join a cult. That leaves other gyms I am sure , but I am quite happy thank you. Mad props to the Teal Rd employees…new years resolution starts….NOW!!

I was a member for this gym for over 7 years and recently decided to leave due to a racial harassment from another member during my workout. This issue was brought up immediately to the store Manager at that time in which he assured me this Gym had zero tolerance to racial harassment and claimed this other member will have his membership revoked. This member’s racial comments towards me left me with severe anxiety. After two weeks of the incident I continue to encounter this member during my workouts in which there are no words to express the anxiety attacks I will experience every time I saw this individual. I reached to corporate’s manager Joy Jones with Bravo Fitness Group and instead of addressing this issued I was called a liar and was threatened that if continued to pursuit this matter I will have my membership revoked even though I was the victim and I had a witness they refused to do anything about this other member. The member continued to harass other members and they were no signs the club was taking matters into account. Quite honest I was very shocked with the lack of professionalism corporate had and to claim this gym is free of harassment its beyond unbelievable. I hope anyone finds this feedback useful.

I enjoy this gym quite a bit. The staff is friendly and everything is pretty clean. They recently remodeled and have some nice, new equipment, as well as the basics. Matt/Michael was beyond rude and ego tripping. He let my guest in without having him sign a waiver, then upon my friend attempting a 350lb bench press pr insisted we come out of the weight room to sign a waiver… this negligence could have lead to serious corporate damages, yet he blamed his own mistake on us. Just cancelled my membership today due to a very rude assistant manager named Michael who was working at the front desk. When signing in he mentioned my account was past due (by a day) and wouldn’t allow me to enter- even though I’ve been a member for years. The staff is awesome. They are friendly and helpful. The black card membership is totally worth it, but I like that it doesn't get crowded because I think most of the members do the base membership. I would love it if it were 24/7 but the hours on the weekend are limited. I work late and would love to go afterwork on the weekends.

Not the gyms fault but for some reason, I have only seen it with men over 50, that refuse to wipe down their equipment when they are done. Seriously, the next time you are in there, all the men over 50 will not wipe down the equipment when they are done. Horrible gym etiquette.

I am from out of town and visit several times a year. In my home town of Corpus Christi TX there is a Navy Base close to my house and I am retired Military so I go to the Base to exercise. Therefore when I travel I do not have a membership in a gym that I can use to exercise. I tried the County Recreation Centers and found a lot of paperwork and the price was $60 to join for a month and then I would have to pay every visit and since I am not a resident there is a higher cost for me. They are located a couple more miles through the traffic which can be a problem. I took a chance and walked into Planet Fitness and they were so kind and caring. I am a female 76 years old with white hair and in fairly good condition for my age but all I usually do is work out for 20-30 minutes on the eliptical. They wanted to give me a tour and gave me the cost of basically a free work out schedule for the Sept 21 - Oct 12 when I was visiting. They spent 10 minutes with me getting me signed up and taking a small payment. I resigned at the date they said I should to avoid future deductions from my credit card but I was surprised when they said I could continue to come until Oct 16 which basically gave me another 3 days of exercise. I really appreciate their kindness and compassion. Every time I came in and scanned my card they greeted me with kind words and were always there to help if I had a question. If our Corpus Christi Planet Fitness was closer to our house I would definitely join (as I love the Circuit and did that when the Curves was located on Padre Island where I live) when I return to Corpus Christi. But it is an extra 5 miles 1 way. The next time I visit Beaverton (my daughter and family live about 1 mile from Planet Fitness) I will check right away to see if I can join while I am in the area even if it is only for 2 weeks. Thank you Planet Fitness for your no judgement attitude.

After being away for a month, I realized I had misplaced my signing card. Fortunately, I was fortunate enough to have the assistance of the team lead, Tavish.

Tavish was not only kind and understanding but also incredibly knowledgeable. He swiftly resolved the issue for me, which I greatly appreciated. It's clear that this gym has a team of excellent staff members, and Tavish is certainly no exception.
