Supervisor Aaron at this Powell club is one of the most wonderful people I've ever met in my 47 years. Empathetic, professional, patience, love, dedication, outward focused, respectful, meeting people where they are, and just all around wonderful person. He does his best for everybody in any situation. I hope and pray that he has the future that he deserves. I know he cares about everyone's health and fitness for their overall health and wellness. He is there for all of us in any of us. He is a fair and why is young man. He also has great de-escalation tools and smart enough to navigate through tough situations. So if you do come in as club and you happen to come across him I'm sure you will also agree. Our country deserves more people like him. We're becoming more divided and treating each other worse. I know that he sets a great example for me to remember.

I just have to say that i’ve been coming to the Gresham location for often and on for about the last year and they have one of the most All-Star employees I’ve ever met at Planet Fitness. His name is Brody, he is a young man who is aspiring to do many incredible things in life, and he truly inspires me as a person who is seeking a healthier lifestyle. He is so kind, incredibly helpful, and is a cheer cheerleader by nature. Life is incredibly hard, for myself included, and it’s always nice to be greeted with a smile and bright attitude at a place it’s so hard to come to. Planet Fitness has been such a great gym experience. The environment is clean, welcoming, and never intimidating, which makes it easy to stay motivated. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the equipment is well-maintained with plenty of options for both cardio and strength training. the fact that it’s open 24/7 — super convenient! Overall, it’s a comfortable place to work out, no matter your fitness level.

I just wanted to share that I've been here since the grand opening and I've seen a massive change under new management and new staffing. Im a regular and I'm here all week , aaron the general manager is always hands on and very proactive. Ariane and Jonas are always very welcoming and uplifting. With those 3 particularly the environment wouldn't be what is is without them nor will it be as clean without them.

Absolutely ridiculous that they are playing Spanish music in an American gym! We cannot understand music from another country that speaks a different language! Myself and many others are very frustrated with this music and the environment it creates. If this continues I will petition to move ppl away from this gym and all leave terrible reviews. I’m speaking with corporate as well. It’s not just one song it’s many songs on the playlist that we cannot understand and do not agree with. Very disgusting.

The friendly and nice Receptionists make me want to go there even when I don’t feel like going because they’re very welcoming.Also the hydro massage is motivating.I believe this is the most cleanest planet fitness I have been.I appreciate all those who work to make sure we have a decent place to sweat on 😊.

My favorite location I’ve been to. It’s clean, there’s space to do body weight exercises, there are plenty of machines and the staff keep on top of people not following rules so the rest of us can enjoy our memberships.
The manager Aaron clearly cares about his staff, about the success and maintenance of the gym and about any concerns people bring him. He genuinely shows pride in his work and is easy to talk and joke with. He works hard and I hope he’s rewarded for it !
I sometimes visit other locations based on what my day brings but I’m always sad to miss the Gresham team and the consistency I’m used to.

She always has a beautiful smile on her face, and she’s always working hard. I honestly thought she was the manager or at least the assistant manager by her work ethic. Went to this location since it opened, and have trained at other planets previously. Gym is kept clean, and equipment is in okay shape. However, some of the staff are rude and inconsistent enforcement of the gyms "rules", can be frustrating.

All the weights seem fake, you go to the planet fitness on 181 and the weights seem legit. On top of the treadmill, at 181 I can only do 3.0 and I’m almost running. At this gym I have to bump it up to 4.5 to do a brisk walk. It’s completely off. Someone’s going to get hurt thinking they can do certain weights and then go out and try to do them and find out it wasn’t right this entire time.

Why did you give teenagers unlimited access? I’m a regular paying customer, and I pay $25, but when I come to the gym after work, it’s full of teenagers who are using it for free. Why don’t you give them limited hours before the afternoon? They have no school or work, unlike us.

On the plus side, it is cheap month to month. They do hit you with an annual fee though so be sure to factor that into overall cost.

On the minus side, they sold me on getting the black card membership and said I could switch to a regular membership later. It isn't really that simple, just know that going in.

Employees mostly stand around and visit and don't seem to ever do much. They were not helpful with anything I ever asked them about. When I had the issue with my membership they pretty much didn't care and gladly canceled my membership. Glad they canceled it but wish they were interested in keeping clients.

Generally very busy and often had to rework my workout due to no benches being available or machines being occupied.

A lot of rules about not slamming weights and not talking on your phone but these seemed optional.

I joined a new gym that is more expensive but is worth it overall.

I come here everyday. The showers are ridiculous. They need to be fixed. I'd like a discount on my membership. Only 2 of the 4 work. The water stays warm for about 5 min. This is an ongoing problem for the last month..fix it!! Have talked to manager and team members. I could Google how to fix the tank less water heater. It should be fixed!! Come on the showers stay warm now for about 5min

Joined about a week ago, and it was a good and easy experience. Very friendly employee named Ken took the time to answer all my questions so I could make an informed decision. I must have come on a day when the industrial water heaters were turned on, (It was hot) and nice after a workout. I like the variety and availability of the equipment.🤟🧐

Great place to go for a cold shower if you're into that! I go here about 5 times a week and lemme tell you, you're a lucky duck if you get even a Luke warm shower. Great way to end a 10 hour work shift is a freezing cold shower! Also 2 of the 4 showers are literally inoperable, have been for at least a month now. Oh and the staff says management knows and has no real intentions to fix it.

I just have to say the night crew here tonight, around 7 pm are so awesome. They make my lift session more enjoyable, they keep the tanning beds clean. I can hop right in as soon as I finish my lift. Super friendly. It’s just nice to walk into smiles and tentative help. Thanks night crew!!

Definitely impressed of this location just by walking in. Brayden was very personable and friendly. The lady checking me in Stephanie did me a nice favor, since I'm out of state got me able to do my tanning here. I definitely like how clean this facility is. They have a nice variety of massage chairs as well. I would definitely recommend this location.......

I have a membership with LA fitness and I wanted to change to PF so I decided to visit this location and Braden was at the front desk. He was so welcoming and went with me over the prices and the plans that they offer. Also, he was so efficient at his job and took me with him in a tour to check out the amenities of the gym. The black card spa area is so cool and that’s what I need for now. Overall, clean facility, variety of equipments and friendly staff.

Honestly I don’t normally like going to the gym, It’s very stressful to be around so many people so I go later at night, I came in last night at around 12 am and was greeted so kindly by the young man with glasses and blonde and black hair. He talked to me for a bit and really helped me understand a few of the machines. It always helps to have a friendly face when you come in! His little drawings made me laugh. I will definitely be staying at this location.

Very clean gym and friendly staff. I only rate it 2 stars because the staff does not wear the appropriate shoes to help my client on the gym floor when it’s needed. They wear slippers and boots that are not fitness appropriate to be helping people on the gym floor. They talk about inappropriate work topics that I can hear from the front of the establishment and lay on the floor behind the counter. I don’t think I feel comfortable bringing my client here if these restrictions and requirements are not met. I do not want to come to a gym where the staff are not taking their job seriously when it comes to the costumers safety and concerns.

I joined the Gresham Planet Fitness about 3 weeks ago and it has been an exceptional experience. Very impressed by the gym itself -- size, equipment, cleanliness. It has a friendly and welcoming vibe. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They do an outstanding job of keeping the gym clean and stocked with sanitizing supplies for the members. I recently tried out the Black Card Club massage chair and it was amazing! Excited to explore more amenities soon. Keep up the great work PF staff!

Embarrassing experience. Gym manager Stephanie spoke loudly about my past due balance after I explained being upset that she doesn’t understand the email that was sent, which is fine. (The email stated they would waive past due balances and get me back in the gym for $1) She said she would find out more. I didn’t care about having a past due balance or what was owed. That made sense since I had broken my leg, lost my job and couldn’t afford to go to the gym. I could have called and canceled but I thought I was going to be back sooner than this. Anywho, I was shocked how I was being treated.. I was calm the entire time, never raised my voice once so speaking loudly to attempt to embarrass me in front of other guests, interrupting me every time I spoke and becoming visibly more upset and unprofessional as the conversation went on, is why I’m leaving this review. PF has no business being this way with it’s infinite money. According to her I hadn’t paid since January but my last check in was April.. so your staff has been letting me in for free for 3 months? Then what are these charges on my card?? Hmm.. 🤔

Great new PF! I travel for work and Im probably bias towards my home gym but this place is always clean and low-key. I take my mom on the weekends and always avoid the crowds. Large open space makes finding machines quick and easy. Cardio on one third, machines in the middle, and free weights/ smith machines on the far third. Bathrooms are generally always very clean. My one feedback would be to keep the stalls clean and supplied. Keep up the great work!

A few things that have this gym a long way from being a good gym. While they have a lunk alarm for people dropping weights, talking on the phone, or moaning, all loud enough to hear through the facility, it never turns on. Doesn't seem like they really care about filling up spray bottles. Bathrooms are often left a mess by not awesome patrons. Otherwise - the 24hrs 4ish days out of the week is useful.

I joined about 3 months ago. Great gym so far but the false advertisement about the hours is disappointing. The decals in the windows says “24/5” but they’re only open 24 hours Monday-Thursday. It really doesn’t work with my work schedule. I wish they were open 24 hours 7 days a week, or would at least take the stickers down that says 24 hours/ 5 days a week.

Similarly to others that have left reviews, I haven’t had super friendly interactions with staff. I’m almost never greeted when I come and go, it seems like the front desk just can’t be bothered.

I am impressed with how clean the gym is, they take care of the restrooms and locker areas well. I also like the equipment and the atmosphere is welcoming.

I love PF and had a membership when I lived in another state. When we moved up here there just wasn't a PF close enough to be worth it. So I cancelled my membership. So when I saw that they were opening less than 5 minutes from my house I was excited to get back on track. And for the deal we got on the pre opening sale the black card is worth it.

The gym itself works for my needs 100%. It's clean and usually well stocked at the wipe down station. It really just depends on what time of the day you are planning on working out. I try to stick to the morning time, as it is less busy. In the evening times you have to deal with a lot of the younger crowd who seem to be there less for working out and more to hang out and to mess around. Which can make it difficult to focus on what you are there too do, when you can't get to the machine you need because a group is hanging out talking on it.

There is a difference between the staff during the morning and the evening as well. I am not sure if it is because there is no manager there in the evenings or what but the young adults that are there in the evenings seem to care less about doing their jobs and more about socializing.

New gym. Nice equipment. But horrible in cardio area. Im not here to just walk slowly on treadmill. Fans are barely moving might as well have them turned off. Asked the guy at front desk if he could turn fans up. He said I will have somebody in back turn them on. 10min go by I watch him doing nothing about it walking around the gym. I have to get off stairstepper for 2nd time to tell him he never turned them on. He got smart with me. Guy with long dark hair. Only reason I joined this gym was bc its near me. Starting to regret it.
