Staff was inviting and helpful. Tons of machines to work on. I came through from out of town to get a quick workout in, and had a good one. The locker room was a little dirty from someones work boots. Strangely the shower stopped and kicked back on for a second while I was in there. It was overall a pretty good day experience. Far from the worst PF i’ve been to. Will stop again when in town

I absolutely love this location! Austin, the manager, and Caleb are always so kind and welcoming. I come here from LA to drop in, and it’s always a clean, fresh, and positive experience. Austin is quick, professional, and kind! He’s usually the one to check me in !

That said, I’ve never had a bad experience until recently with PAMELA a front desk worker there …she was rude from the start and just unpleasant overall. It really stood out because the rest of the team is 10/10 amazing. This place truly deserves five stars, but Pamela’s attitude definitely doesn’t match the standard of service here! I won’t give less starts just because of her ! With that being said, she needs to go…. Just a bitter mean person nobody wants that before a workout.

Its a good place to workout with multiple machines so ypu dont have to wait for anything. Same with dumbbells. Lots of treadmills and hydro jet massage chairs and tanning beds. Also a full size locker room with showers. Overall a good place none of the locations have a pool

It's very clean, machines and locker rooms and that makes all the difference to me. One suggestion: get rid of the "30 minute workout only" space. It takes up too much room and is used by too few to consider the space to be wisely used. Big selection of machines, free-weights, cardio and aerobics. Friendly staff who greet you with a smile.

I’m a black card member and have been for years but your computer says I’m not a member and your employee says he can’t sign me in ? What? I travel for work and use P.F. 5 times a week at different locations and never had one issue . Your location is a scam, literally .
Why do I pay a black card member fee if I can’t use your services ?

This is a really good planet fitness. I've been to planet fitnesses all over the country and this is one of the cleanest I've seen. My only notes are that there's a broken lock on one of the men's changing rooms, and that a lot of the Smith machines are pushed very close to the mirrors. They do manage to fit a lot in the space though, so I can kind of understand why. Friendly staff, good music, sold gym.

The one thing I truly HATE about Planet Fitness is that whenever I'm working out at one I feel nervous that I'll drop a weight or grunt loudly and get scolded like a child by the staff or get blasted by the ever menacing "Lunk Alarm". There are some other things that annoy me about PF's like guests working out in jeans/street clothing and the lack of heavy free weights.

But they are decent for beginners and the price conscious. I recently switched to Crutch which is an amazing gym with every workout machine/free weights imaginable, classes, a sauna, knowledgeable staff, and much more. And you can grunt, drop weights, drink water from a milk jug, as much as you feel like without getting shamed by the staff.

Also I don't know why this bothers me so much, but when I recently cancelled my membership I was asked why, and I replied I'm switching to another gym, and on the cancellation email I received it stated I was canceling because of "medical" problems, kinda shady, but likely a Corporate thing.

Honestly so upset about PF changing their 24 hr 365 days a year rule. I’m truly upset. It’s preventing me from working out regularly now because of my long work hour weeks, and now I’m limited to when I can go, I went from going 5-6 days a week to 2. It’s like i got cheated smh 😔

I'm a big introvert, social anxiety and all, gyms have always been incredibly intimidating to me as I learn by doing and trying things out... Which involves failing... Which I have trouble doing so publicly. The staff and the general feel of this gym is very welcoming. That helped me feel more confident in attempting new things that I may not know how to do, meaning I'm actually seeing results and that is pretty sick. It's not super crowded generally, so access to machines and weights you need, comes pretty easily. It's also very clean all the time. Good stuff. Highly recommend

I love the fact that this Planet fitness is open 24hrs. I don't really like the 40 min drive from my home in Grants Pass to South Medford. The late night workouts are the best for me due to my work schedule. And the girl with long brown hair that works the late night shift is super sweet with Great Customer service skills. Wished I would have gotten her name. Love Planet Fitness! The price is super affordable for what ya get. I'm happy, Just wish Grants Pass Planet Fitness stayed open longer or became 24hrs.

Im new to PF- and had questions- One of the front desk people is more interested in her phone than helping guests- as she said I needed to ask someone else for help. So...I waited for the other person to finish what he was doing.
I attempted to get help from him with signing up for a massage chair. I have a hearing deficit and had to ask...What he said? At least 5 times as he mumbled and kept pointing at the computer screen.
Im old, with disabilities- and the 20 something year old 'manager' was unable to communicate.
I called later to talk to a manager- the girl told me unless I tell her my name- I was not allowed to talk to the manager.
Well Im not didn't want to give it to her- because she knew I was calling about her.

I did talk to both of their supervisors- who didn't seem too surprised. Though the GM from a different PF said it was cause for disciplinary action. I'll be going to his gym moving forward.

Today I saw a man advertising that Planet Fitness allows transgender women into the appropriate changing room according to their gender. Thats so great I had to hop on here and give a 5 star review! I’ve never been to this planet fitness, I don’t have a membership or even live in Medford. I’m just so happy with this choice that I came on here to give my seal of approval.

The gym is okay. They put a lot of effort into making it easy to clean the work out equipment. Everything else is just kind of mid. The reason for the one star view is because they're manipulative sales policy. You can sign up online but you can under no circumstances cancel online or cancel by phone. You have to come in, and I find that very manipulative.

First off, I love Planet Fitness. Theses gyms are always clean and have a surplus of well maintained equipment. Unfortunately, hours were reduced during COVID and have remained the same. I occasionally follow up and question if hours will ever be extended again but am always informed that hours will remain the same. Went from a 5-star to 0-star location as all of us swing/shift workers have been excluded. I’d reconsider this review if hours are slowly extended back to the original hours of operation.

I’m currently active duty military. Multiple times I’ve reached out to planet fitness trying to cancel my account being that I’m stationed overseas and can’t access of. Every time they’ve continued to charge me on my account saying I have to be in person to cancel my service. I haven’t been to planet fitness in over a year. I have all of my account information as well as my banking information to prove who I am as the owner of the pf account. Still they charge me money month to month because I am not there to cancel my service. Do not purchase planet fitness unless you plan on committing to an account because they also charge you month to month for your account even if you’re not interested in having it. And they don’t refund you any of the money for months you have not used planet fitness. In essence I’m spending money just to spend money.

The staff at Planet Fitness are outstanding! They obviously don't hate their jobs, always dancing, rocking to the music and genuinely just having a good time...keeps the atmosphere smooth. The app "crowd meter" leaves a bit to be desired as it seems to never move 😆 but whatever...there's enough equipment that if you're patient enough, you'll get to the machines you want. Overall, it's a pretty great gym and I'm glad I joined.

They always say they are a "Judgement Free Zone" and the multiple times I have gone in there I can confidently say, yes, yes they are. They have a lot of different workout machines, the tv's offer you entertainment while working out. It's always clean as well.

Joined today and was very disappointed. I walked in they took my photo then said have a nice day. After driving roughly 30 minutes to this location I was turned away while checking in because my account was “over due by a year and a half” which I thought was strange since my account was still listed as active and I had no outstanding bills with the gym. after driving 30 minutes back home and doing my own research I eventually called the location and spoke with Aaron who was much kinder than the rude and pushy woman at the front desk, it turns out she made a mistake and sent me away for no reason as there was no outstanding balance on my account (she wouldn’t even let me check in as a guest with my friend who I attended the gym with). Super thankful for Aaron being so kind and helpful, it is unfortunate that one bad employee can ruin someone’s experience at your business.
