They have newer equipment and hybrid tanning booths which made me love this place a little more.The hours are a bit different than other planet fitness locations, they have 3 sets of hours depending on days of the week, I wish they were open longer during the week and especially weekends, but other than that it's a great place to work out. The gym and facilities are always super clean and always well stocked. The staff are great and always very helpful, Sam especially, he kicks ass. He's always there to help with anything I may need and always has a smile on his face. Thanks again for all you do Sam, I really do appreciate it. I gotta throw a shout out to Allysa, Anndy, Christian, and Cody as well, you're all amazing and make my daily workouts great, I appreciate you all.

I had high hopes for this gym based on the great reviews and the fact it was so close to my house but my experience wasn’t something that sold me. I’m not a member and when I walked in to ask about a tour and pricing I was met with someone who had a very hard time even making eye contact with me, the basis of good customer service or answering my questions. The “tour” I received was walking around the front desk and pointing out different areas of the gym instead of actually showing me around or where things were. I loved their statement of the all inclusive environment however I got the energy to be very uncomfortable and judgmental by the stairs of younger kids. There is a heavy amount of cardio equipment but not enough of each weight machine meaning your left waiting for the group of teens to get done mingling and taking selfies before you can even use the equipment. I was told “planet fitness is having a hard time keeping teachers so we don’t offer classes” great selling point. While it’s nice and shiny and new, I willingly went back to my old gym across town just based off the fact they always smiled and greeted me properly and had a lot more machines to offer that allows people to move around each other better. You have about 3 seconds to make a sale and sometimes all that takes, is a smile and eye contact.

I have been a member of Planet Fitness for years. I want to say thank-you for finally bringing Marcy to us. Marcy is a manager who cares and supports the well being of her members. She and her staff always say hello and good-bye. Making this long time member feel welcomed again. She knows excellent customer service and hires those that follow her example. The gym is always clean not a speck of paper on the ground any where. I love the flowers at the three tables. The flowers add to the gym. Sitting down TODAY at a table and seeing a message that read "Your great." on one of the flower arrangements was a nice surprise. Positive affirmations. We can all use some.

I am writing this as a regular gym enthusiast. I love the gym , it has pretty much all the equipments to start getting into shape. One thing I would highly recommend is , please add mirrors by the cables . Mirrors arent just for admiring but also to check your form. There is like so many excercise by the cable machine (lat pulldown , row ) that you would require to check your form.

Super frustrated! The facility was always clean and staff was nice but the location was no longer convenient for our family. When I called to cancel we were told we had to do it in person. Strange considering you can signup online but not cancel online. My husband and I went in together August 31st and canceled our 3 memberships. But then we were billed for 2 of our memberships in September and October. When I noticed and called they said they weren’t canceled and we would have to come back in. Over the past few months I have not been able to get a manager to speak to me or call me back. Funny how they have cameras all over but can’t look up me signing our cancelation forms. Finally yesterday I was told once again over the phone the only way to stop this is to come in and cancel (again). There would be no back dating and nothing they would do. So I did to be done with it…and then I was told I would be changed for November as well because of the billing cycle. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Hopefully this time all memberships are canceled.

Stopped coming here a while ago and went to the other location for a while then moved. This location is dirty and the staff is rude. I cancel my membership and she deliberatly put the wrong request date on there so that i would be billed another month I SAW WHAT YOU DID. They get your signature THEN email you the document. BE FOR REAL. They also allow men in the womens changing rooms. Come on. SMH I have also heard them talking badly about certain customers as well as homeless people outside. Like i get it but its unprofessional and it does in fact make you look bad.

The massage chairs are great. The equipment could use some maintenance. It is always dusty and some of the equipment has snags on the weights which makes it kind of annoying when you are trying to workout. It is a bit crowded at times as well but that is probably a good thing for the company. A lot of grunting and loud people are there being "lunks" which they disapprove of but the staff never really intervene when they are being obnoxious. Oh well. Keep your headphones in and your head down I guess.

It's a nice gym, but the volume of the music in the building and locker room is over 70bp.
They said that you need to use headphones for your music device. But you have to turn it up so much to drown out their music.

Been going here for a couple years now, its been great until they closed the lockers and shut down half the machines and make you wear a mask......at the door at least very cool chill people, plus JESUS love you I told you the because it's 100% accurate like when I shoot guns. Nothing gets past me, i see every detail, from the dripping sinks, to the friendly staff cleaning up that puddle of mystery fluid in the hallway, and let me tell ya tbis place is awsume In all the small details! The whole vibe and philosophy of the place is no judgement and inclusion. Which is great however they dont live by it. They cater to certain people but judge and dont cater to others. There Selection of lifting equipment is very limited. Mostly machines, very little free weights. They even have a sign "lunk alert". "Lifting heavy, grunting, dropping weights, drinking from a gallon water bottle, wearing bodybuilding tank top, and judging others."
It described me except for judging others. So in the same sentence as saying its a judgment free zone they are judging. I felt extremely unwelcome. It was almost like if you are good at lifting, fitness, and look good then you are not welcome there.

I was interested in signing up for the $25 membership, I didn't like that there was a set bill date, and you can't just pay 30 days at a time. I called in a few times to ask staff when should I sign up for the best value for my money, and was told memberships move forward on the 10th of the month and are billed on the 17th, so signing up anytime after the 10th is my best option. I signed up on the 12th, guess who got billed 5 days later?

It's not a muscle head gym. If that's your thing, you'll have to look somewhere else.

Planet Fitness' thing is they cater to all body types, and this gym does a pretty good job of that.

Some places try so hard to cater to a certain group, they do so at the expense of the opposite group. That doesn't seem to be the case here. I've never seen anybody display judgment or poor interaction with someone, regardless of their body type. At the same time, I'm a pretty fit guy, and I can always find weights or machines to challenge me.

It's amazing how much equipment they can fit in there. You can almost always find a way to work whatever body part you want to.

The facility is kept clean, and any equipment that breaks is usually repaired right away.

And it's pretty affordable.

DO NOT USE THIS GYM!
If you’re new, and looking for a gym to start out GO ELSEWHERE. Staff is respectful, and great honestly, but the people up the chain are just money hungry. No matter what, even if you’re injured, like I am, if you try and cancel the membership, you will have to pay a $60 buyout fee. They claim you can “freeze” your account until you’ve “healed”, but you will still have to either go into the gym, or mail a ******* letter to cancel, and even then, you’ll have to pay a buyout fee. Really shows how little the owner cares about you, and proves they see you as just a number. It’s sad really. So unless you plan on paying a ridiculous fee to join AND TO LEAVE, do not work out here.

The Americans with Disabilities Act defines the term as "dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities".

Emotional support animals are not service dogs. Anyone can buy a vest on AMAZON that states "service animal"

Services animals are trained and registered for people with disabilities. Even those need to be on a LEASH.

Management at this gym doesn't seem to care.

I could bring in a pig, or cat or anything with 4 legs and declare it a service animal, and not be expected to have it on a leash.

Let me start by saying that I'm a HUGE PF fan but this location needs some attention. There has to be at least 20 unhappy customers that waited for black card services this morning (and they waited way longer than me). The gentleman working at the front desk totally went MIA. I tanned then came out to sign up for the hydro bed...waited 15 minutes...no sign of him. Called the gym twice to see if he'd come answer the phone. No luck. So I decided to work out. HOUR AND A HALF LATER still no guy!

Mystery underway now! Did he walk off the job? Is he locked in a one of the employee only rooms? Did he get kidnapped? Sleeping in his car? Who knows?! Maybe we should put out missing person's report.

I am updating my original review. I have dropped it to a 3. They recently upgraded their machines. The range of motion is now different. Mostly due to the larger handles on some of them. They did not add heavier dumbells or a sled.

They are also NOT open 24 hrs a day. That changed with Covid. In fairness, many are the same way At the end of the day, it is still the best deal in town..

update: While the waits to check in and go to your tan or massage have changed with the new system, this place is still lacking. I left 3 years ago, due to lack of staffing which I thought might be the reason that people are allowed to use equipment they have no clue how to use-and risk injury in doing so-but they take the "judgement free" thing too far here. Also, big signs on your wall calling people who make noise while working out...IS judgmental! So, if you are serious about working out-try another gym. I'll be cancelling and doing the same.

My biggest complaint is that at certain times of the day, there are not enough people at the counter to check you in. I have waited 10 minutes before to check in and then come back after my work out and have to wait to ask them to turn on my hydromassage or tanning booth. Other than that mild complaint, I have no issues with the gym, it's cleanliness or equipment availability.

I feel very comfortable at this gym. Staff is very friendly and everything is spotless. I really love the TV on the equipment now, instead of multiple ones hanging down from the ceiling.

They have been doing a remodel for the last two months. Twice now I’ve gone even it said they were open when I’m fact that were not. They were “opened” a week ago. Tired of wasting time and money for a gym I can’t even use.

New to the area and was ready to buy a gym membership. Came in asking if they have a trial I could join to see if I like their facility, but the two at the front desk were unaware and quoted me $30 a day for a simple trial. They said they had “no specials” going on and offered no further information. It was awkward. So I left. Even at full price, half the gym was torn up. Hopefully that means something better to come. Found another gym farther away, but it was a much better experience. Experience > price.

I've been a member of Planet Fitness for a while now, in multiple cities, and they all seem to be very similar. For the price of the black card membership, you can't beet the amenities; tanning booth, hydromassage bed, massage chair, red light booth, bring whomever you want as a guest, when you want and you get to access any PF location. Only complaint I have, would be to add some other lifting equipment or double up on some other machines that are popular.

They take more money than they are suppose to for what you paid for. It isn't a monthly fee it is what ever they want to take out. I stop going during COVID and haven't been in two years and they are still screwing me over.
