I came to Tyler with the desire to learn more about powerlifting and how I can better my form. For months we’ve worked on form, compound exercises, safety, and how each muscles work and which to engage.
My #1 priority is safety and to prevent injuries as much as possible. When I address a concern such as shoulder pain or if I’m sore from a previous workout, he’ll think of an alternative exercise which I’m grateful.
Super excited of what lies ahead and hoping to compete with Tyler on my side! Highly recommend!
UPDATE** I competed last month and I won my weight class! I can’t wait for competition #2 and hopefully Nationals!!

I had an awesome time working out with Tyler! He's super knowledgeable and really supportive while pushing you to do your best! I gained a lot of strength and confidence working out with him and couldn't have asked for a better trainer.
I came to him as a non-athlete looking to gain confidence and learn how to work out without hurting myself or picking up any bad habits. I had a lot of questions along the way about what the most effective way to design workouts is, how those plans should change and develop over time, how strength training and aerobic training play off each other, how to develop the body-sense of knowing how it should feel when you are/aren't lifting correctly - the list goes on and on. I'm a bit of an over-thinker but Tyler was really patient with me. As a lifelong athlete himself, he was eager to discuss the ins and outs of workout science :) Like I said, he really knows his stuff and has a knack for breaking things down in a way that's easy to understand and delivers real results.

Excellent, individualized training programs designed for your personal goals. Tyler has taken me from being debilitated with health issues to active and strong. Work outs are tailored and adaptive for everyone, from chronic illness sufferers, to rehab and to performance athletes. Tyler knows both how to train, when to stop and how to adapt movements when needed. Highly recommend!!

Even though I’m related to him, I cannot emphasize enough how important his knowledge is to get you where you want to go in your physical walk of life. I get help from him all the time and I’m a novice at the gym but he still is more than willing to help me and meet me where I’m at in my journey. Thank you!

I’ll start off with the obvious: I’m related to Tyler. But when I went down the fitness road that I’ve been on for the last 7 years, I got to a point where I was looking for a trainer who had results. I needed a trainer who could design a program for a college level athlete and for me, it was an obvious choice. Tyler’s athletic background supported with numerous client testimonies are impossible to ignore.
So I’d be foolish to not ask him to help his little brother.
My personal background is collegiate wrestling and tennis, and my weightlifting programs required dynamic workouts focused on force production, mobility, and work capacity. After graduating college in 2017 I stopped wrestling as frequently, but I still wanted to be ‘fight ready’ so to speak. I still play tennis at a high level, and I can confidently say I’m still wrestling ready through Covid because of Tyler’s programming.
And if you’re wondering about whether or not I got the “friends and family” discount, I wanted to pay full price. Because I believe in his experience, his skills and perspective, and I want to support local businesses.
He has the knowledge to help anyone, regardless of their goals or gym experience. He’s always learning and honing his craft, finding new information to maximize your efforts and help you hit your goals faster. That’s what he’s done for me.

I’ve been being trained by Tyler for 6 months now. I initially started going to get back in shape and to strengthen my legs and knees since I was beginning to have pain going up and down stairs and things like that. As someone who sits all day at work, I didn’t want this to get worse.
I’ve since eliminated the knee pain, increased strength and mobility, and endurance. I’ve lost an inch on my neck and dropped a pants size without dieting.
My energy level has increased dramatically as well.
He is a great trainer and I really enjoy my sessions. One of the greatest investments you can make is in yourself and working with Tyler is money well spent.

I have never been someone who enjoyed working out until now. Tyler is knowledgeable, explains everything really clearly and pushes you to believe in yourself. I have seen so much progress in the past 6 months since working with him. It’s challenging but also fun! Tyler is awesome!

Tyler with TNT Fitness is fantastic! I’ve always been very uncomfortable in a gym setting. Not just because I’m self conscious, but also because it’s intimidating when you don’t know what you’re doing and have no plan.
Tyler has been so helpful and nonjudgmental. He started me off slow and has given me an actual plan to work with every week. Structure! I needed that desperately! It’s not intimidating to workout alone anymore and has actually become fun! He pushes you just enough to get you through your excuses, but doesn’t yell at you and understands your limitations. As long as you put in the work he can be a big asset to get you to your goal.
Mine is to be overall more healthy, lose weight, be more fit and comfortable in my clothes.
He has also helped change my attitude towards food. I realized my relationship with food was just way off. Overall, I have learned so much and I’m actually seeing/feeling results quicker than expected. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with Tyler through my fitness journey.

For the last year I've been watching my friend's transformation with Tyler and finally decided to reach out myself after reaching the heaviest I have ever weighed.
First off, I live in Tillamook (over an hour away) and he has been incredibly flexible with me scheduling sessions with him (about twice per month). I can text him at any time with questions and he makes sure to answer with great explanations, video tutorials, or recommendations. If he doesn't know the answer right away he does his research and gets back to me as soon as he can.
I also appreciate is that we can joke and chat throughout the entire session instead of it being an awkward and intense experience. He makes sure I understand the exercises and am doing them correctly, but has a good mix of friendly banter that I greatly appreciate.
I only started working with Tyler about 2 months ago but am already seeing small gains in my reps and the way I feel overall. I know I have quite a ways to go but am happy with what I have accomplished in our short time together. If you have been thinking about making the jump and getting a personal trainer I would highly recommend Tyler with TNT Fitness. You definitely won't regret it!

Tyler is professional, organized, and a great communicator. He sets clear expectations, and helps you establish obtainable goals. He’s fun to work with. 11/10 Would Reccomend
I've been working with Tyler for over a year and a half. All I can say is that it was the best decision of my life.
I started with Tyler being partially debilitated due to a previous spinal procedure which rendered me unable to do half of what I was able to do normally. I had horrible balance, unable to squat properly, and could barely lift to save my life.
Now after weekly sessions, I can say with great pleasure that I am able to do more than I ever could, even before my procedure. Tyler keeps me motivated and pushes me to reach goals that I thought were impossible.
If you want a coach that communcates well, pushes you to hit your fitness goals and cares about YOU. I highly reccomend TNT Fitness.
Did I mention he's affordable? Because that too.
So what are you waiting for? Give him a call, send that email. Do It. You will thank yourself later.

Ever since I started weight training with Tyler, I have received more compliments on "how good I look for my age"! I have always known the value of weight training but have never been a "gym rat" - preferring to exercise on my own but neglecting my muscles. Now that I am "mature" in my 50's, weight training is even more important for my health and Tyler is a great fit for me. I need calm, positive encouragement and Tyler is just that. He is very knowledgeable, personable and makes the work out fun. Honestly, I hate weight training, but he makes it enjoyable. He creates workouts tailored to me and varies them so they are never boring. And the bonus, I'm stronger and more fit than I have ever been! And for the first time in my life, I won my age group in the Best of the West Triathlon in 2019. I cannot count how many races I've completed but I've never brought home a trophy until now. I was frustrated and ready for a change when I reached out to Tyler. I was struggling with my weight, and battling with not knowing what to do about it. I played team sports, and had a slew of injuries. Tyler has the knowledge and ability to recognize where your weaknesses and strengths are. He builds the program around you rather than giving you a generic blanket program. Tyler encourages goals in strength rather than the scale, and a mindset for overall health. I travel for work, and we continue to work together virtually. He checks in weekly and responds quickly to any questions. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer.
