My recent Janzu session with Tamara was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the very first moment in the water, an overwhelming sense of peace enveloped me. The power of the water, combined with Tamara’s gentle guidance, allowed me to let go and release more fully than I believed to be possible in any healing practice.
What sets Tamara apart is her extraordinary care, presence and commitment to her clients wellbeing. Throughout the session, she listened not only to my words but deeply attuned herself to my body’s needs, and more importantly, to what my nervous system was asking for. I felt fully supported, cherished, and held. After just one session, I can say I’m officially addicted to Janzu in Tamara’s hands! If you’re looking for an experience that offers profound peace, deep release, and empathetic care, a session with Tamara is a must.

I would highly recommend the evolve program with Tamara! Loved the workouts and the ways she could tailor your experience if you have an injury. She goes above and beyond with workout advice, nutrition and making sure you are meeting your goals. She has fun monthly challenges and the community of women was amazing! I learned so much about strength training including form, reps, rest etc. What a great experience!

We feel so lucky to have found Tamara and Solara Studio for swim lessons. Tamara's intuitive, calm presence instantly put our child at ease in the water—something we hadn't seen with other programs. She has a beautiful way of reading each child’s needs, gently encouraging growth while always respecting their pace.
Our child tends to be cautious and slow to warm up in new situations, but Tamara never rushed or pushed. Instead, she created a safe, trusting environment where our child gained confidence and skills steadily—and joyfully. It’s been amazing to watch.
At the same time, Tamara knows just how to challenge kids in ways that feel exciting, not overwhelming. The progress our child has made is a testament to their thoughtful, patient, and expert teaching.
We’re incredibly grateful for the care, insight, and skill Tamara brings to every lesson. Truly a rare and gifted teacher!

Tamara is an amazing trainer and I have seen major benefits from being a part of her strength and work out classes. I had knee pain that caused issues when hiking but after attending her classes for the past 8 months, my strength is better than ever and pain is gone! Tamara is motivating, understanding and I've seen her work with everyone! I also just did a session of assisted stretching with her after pulling my lower back, and I HIGHLY recommend this! She listened to my issues and by that afternoon I was already feeling better. I feel so fortunate to have her help and guide me through better health for my body!

Tamara's small group training is amazing. She puts together a thoughtful circuit of exercises that challenge us and the environment is supportive without judgement. I would not hesitate to recommend her studio to anyone who might be intimidated at a bigger gym but needs some accountability to show up and put in the work.

Tamara and her staff are incredible swim teachers. They taught age appropriate swimming/ safety to my 3 year old and even helped coach me on the best way to continue practicing on our own. Even though my toddler is very nervous around the water, Tamara made swimming really fun and knew exactly how to make him comfortable in the pool. We'll definitely be back next summer!

Tamara and Ali have been excellent swim instructors for my 5/6 year old the past two summers. They are encouraging, made him feel comfortable in the water and pushed him to work hard during his lessons. He’s made excellent progress and I look forward to having them work with my 3 year old!

I had such an amazing experience participating in Tamara’s 9 month Evolve program. With her expert guidance, support, and training, I was able to get consistent with working out for the first time in my life, lose weight, and gain strength and muscle tone. If you’re looking into personal training, Tamara is awesome! I started working with Tamara over a year ago for personal training, and I cannot recommend her highly enough! My personal health has increased exponentially in a dozen different ways since I started--it's literally been a life-changing experience.
When I started, I was constantly getting minor injuries from running, skiing, and biking. I've done a lot of physical therapy, so I thought I probably just needed some boring balancing/strengthening exercises (and the motivation to actually do them). Boy was I wrong. During the assessment, I was dismayed to see that I couldn't do one wide-grip pullup, or several other basic movements. Tamara had a detailed questionnaire that asked some tough questions, too, like "how do you know that you'll be able to sustain the motivation for a fitness practice?"
Looking back a year later, I see that at first, Tamara gave me super basic workouts because I simply wasn't capable of working my body hard for most of the workouts I now do. She continually adapted the workouts (and still does) as my body and self-motivation grow stronger. For example, in the first few months, I regained the mobility to squat all the way to the ground. I'd never done a deadlift in my life before PT, but now I feel confident that I can deadlift correctly without injuring myself.
My self-motivation to workout has skyrocketed, too. I've learned how to do numerous exercises I've never done before, and Tamara sets up programs in an app I use at home. Going in to work out under her direction helps me raise the ceiling on what I thought was possible...again and again. As a result, I eat waaaay healthier now, I prioritize the mental health breaks of the physically demanding workouts, I like how I look in the mirror a lot better, and the first time I skied this winter I was amazed at how much stronger I felt!
Everybody I've met who works with Tamara absolutely loves her style and her intuitive grasp of knowing what you're really capable of and encouraging you to surpass your self-imposed limits.

Tamara is a gifted swim instructor. She has a wonderful set up with a salt water pool and island, perfect for teaching kids. Our son advanced significantly in just a few lessons and even my dad, overhearing the lesson, thought Tamara's swim tips would improve his swimming as well. In addition to inspiring confidence in our kiddo, Tamara has a great safety focus. We would be privileged to have more lessons with Tamara!

Tamara and Ali are incredibly skilled swim teachers. They have managed to make swimming fun and approachable to a kid who is otherwise thoughtful and analytical. He now loves swimming and can actually swim (in spite of claiming he’s only floating, not swimming). Did I mention that he’s not an easy kid to teach?!? I can not recommend them enough. Ali and Tamara are so fun and engaged, no matter the kid or the learning style. We are so grateful!

My experience Training with Tamara has exceeded my expectations! I discovered 6+yrs post pregnancy that my abdominal muscles separated and never came back together, which was causing my back to go out randomly and painfully.
Where I was impressed and grateful in Training with Tamara that she not only that she targeted the area of weakness, but she incorporated additional techniques to work the area, taught me a breath pattern to engage the muscles, she researched the exercises that were off limits for my specific situation, and truly tailored a program for me.
The aspects of training with her that were above and beyond my expectations was if I felt any straining she would adjusted the exercise where I am the type of person to push through. So she showed me how to listen to my body and respect whatever limits I had that session. Also, she would think about postures I would be in given my work and build routines to strengthen the surrounding muscle groups. And, lastly, an added bonus was she would catch my poor body mechanics to correct them of course, but then I began to notice other ways I was holding myself in other activities outside of the gym!
I can't say enough about what a truly transformational experience I received by working with Tamara. Her fun, supportive & caring disposition made me look forward to our sessions. I HIGHLY recommend Training with Tamara!

Tamara’s circuit training class offers a total body workout that burns calories and builds muscle. The environment is fun and supportive, and there’s plenty of variety so I never get bored. She offers modifications to the exercises, if you need more or less of a challenge or have an injury. Tamara also offers optional fitness challenges outside of class, which provide a fun way to stay motivated. Tamara has helped me get stronger and more fit than ever before.
