Dustin is the MASSter of his craft. I’ve been lifting and training since I was 13 years old. I read every muscle and fitness magazine for the last two decades and read 1000’s of training articles. I’ve also been around some of the best personal trainers. I’ve grown up working out around some of the best athletes around Oregon including professional NFL, NBA, MLB and UFC athletes in the NW. I thought I knew everything about training until I met Dustin. He instantly made me feel like a the biggest noob. He is by the far the biggest fitness guru I’ve met and he is always pushing himself and learning new training techniques everyday to become even better. Obviously his work ethic in the weight room speaks for itself but he’s on top of every new training trend and as much as he knows he has the mindset of always being the student and that’s what makes him so special. He’s always going to be 💯 with you and he’s always going to push you to be your best in a way that’s motivating and not discouraging. DP is honestly the Diet King. I’ve never met or read anyone who truly knows how to calculate macros to perfection. Dustin is the first and only person I’ve ever considered to hire to be my coach. The meal plan he gave me was not only all good food I could eat (I’m a picky eater) but I’ve never shred up as quick as when I was on DP diet plan. I’m already a very active athlete who loves to lift but the diet he put me on I went from like 228 to like 192 in like 9-10 weeks and I probably only followed that diet 75-80%. I couldn’t even imagine how much more shredded I would have got in those 10 weeks if I executed it perfectly. The man knows how to put on serious mass during bulking season and still can maintain under 5% bf. That’s absolute insane!! I’ve never met or seen anyone close to his level and if there is it’s only a matter of time before he passes them cause he’s always a student and adapting to every possible technique. I’ve known Dustin for years and I’ve seen him grow so much as a man. There is no better person for the job if you want REAL results!

There are many reasons to appreciate Dustin’s work. I was impressed immediately upon beginning when, before creating my first workout program, he performed an assessment of my mobility/range of motion, and alignment (within his scope). This provided him with the ability to create an individualized plan of exercises and techniques that match my body type and ability. He’s also open to my concerns, and willing to be flexible, and tweak or adapt as indicated. Dustin is great with encouragement-he will “push” you beyond what you believe you can achieve, yet always prioritizes safety. He’s helped me work around an ongoing injury so I can still build strength and results without exacerbating the injury. His nutrition planning has been insightful and effective, and supplementation recommendations are thought out, versus “automatically prescribed”. I’ve always enjoyed our training sessions, with quality conversation, not like my previous experiences with other trainers that just want to gossip on my dime. I also appreciate Dustin’s dedication to continuing education and evolution in his field. The money has been very well spent, and I am confident that what I’ve learned from Dustin will benefit me for years/decades to come.

It was such a good experience working out with Dustin. His attention to correct form was something I was very grateful for. I was shocked at the changes I saw in my strength and body. He pushed me to perform my best every time I stepped in the gym. Working out with Dustin helped me realize what my body is capable of. If your thinking about getting a trainer I would highly recommend unorthodox training!

The man is great when it comes to programming and ideas. He is very adaptive to my needs and creative in his encouragement and coaching, For example: I told him what certain food I can or cannot do without being diet consists of Southeast Asian food. I'm not your typical oatmeal, potatoes, chicken breast kind of guy. Flexible, realistic and accountable!

It all started with Dustin being kind enough to give me some workout pointers when he saw me struggling. The rest is history. The guy has been a pit of knowledge and information, helping guide and answer any questions with training and my professional goals.
Currently being coached by Craig, and I'm excited, and happy to be learning from him. I have old back injuries, and a old wrist surgery we have to work around, and he always has a work around.

If you need someone to train you, no matter what your goals are, Dustin will help you reach those goals. Unfortunately I couldn’t keep training with Dustin for other reasons, but Dustin is an expert at what he does. Put 100% trust in him, and you will see the results you desire, and you will feel great while doing so. Don’t look anywhere else. Go with Unorthodox. I Had a great experience working with Dustin. Perfect balance of being personal and being able to push me in workouts. He showed an extensive knowledge in body mechanics and nutrition. Dustin and his team have been phenomenal. Very dependable and punctual, and as I am a busy proffesional building my schedule around my training, this is very important to me.
