This is a no frills clean well equipped smaller gym that is a awesome alternative to the bougie places like Lifetime. Great mix of machines, free weights, treadmills and ellipticals, and throw in some tanning booths and other extras. Same goes for for gym crowd, young, old, really old (like me), people who are there to workout and not goof around. I love the fact that people don't film themselves for social media garbage (I believe the gym doesn't allow filming?) and you don't have to walk around narcissistic "influencers" and their tripods. Plus its 24 hours (only have had one instance of not being able to access, and support had me fixed in about 10 minutes)

4/5 stars, add a few more ceiling fans to get that 5th star.

I have walked by this place a couple of times, and though I have a busy day today I thought I would stop in just to ask if there was any kind of pamphlets with information. The person at the front desk was so wildly rude that I would never recommend this place to anyone.

First, I was just standing at the door looking around and he told me bruskly to scan in. I told him I was new and then he just jumped in and said well I'll make time to give you a tour. I said I don't actually have time for that today, do you have any literature? Then he said no, and I don't have time for you. What business says I don't have time for you? I literally was considering changing gyms because of the 24 hours option. I can't meet the demands of your front desk representative on the spot therefore I'm not a good potential customer? I'm insulted when I walk in the door?

This is an amazing gym. Being a veteran I was welcomed with open arms. They have a support for our troops that I have never seen in any establishment and they make sure to let the community aware. I was only there a short while due to my living situation made it difficult to keep attending. However, I am so pleasantly pleased to have been a member there. If I ever find my way back to the Portland area there is no question I will be going to this remarkable place of wonderful and caring people. They have amazing personal trainers. One in particular is McLain. If you ever end up working out with this guy you’re in for a real treat. Not only is he kind he is also firm and knows how to get the motivation and results out of you. He’s absolutely phenomenal. Thank you so much for those who served and also for the gym that is serving us in return. No place like it. Number one in my book for the rest of my days.

Update- Kinda bummed at the customer service at this location. The gym itself is great- clean, not too crowded, kind members. I signed up here because I wanted to take advantage of their Coaching Consult at sign on. Unfortunately the person I signed up with did not add this to their calendar. I showed up and received a very indifferent response. I had scheduled to leave work for this appointment and it is unfortunate that not only did I not get the session I had signed up for- it was a little bit of a disheartening experience. Mistakes happen, I totally understand that but its a real killer to the motivation to show up only to be turned away and reminded that if I do not show up to my next appointment, "cancellations MUST be at least 24 hours in advance".

The owner literally canceled a veterans membership on 9/11 because he said his clothes smelled. At a gym, with sweaty, stinky people everywhere. The owner hates America and hates his customers apparently. There are much better gyms to join with less incompetence and discrimination. All the good employees have left because the owner is so bad. This one will be bankrupt by next year.

Quick update - Avoid this club unless you want to risk losing membership fees and being trespassed or banned. Owners refused to cooperate with my home club and never contacted me over their decision to trespass me. They lied to my home club about a liability waiver, which I would have been happy to sign if asked.

The equipment and facility is very nice, and I have no complaints there. Members have been nice and helpful when I've asked for a spot.

The management or owners however have lied and trespassed me without a reason or explanation from the gym.

I am currently in the state visiting family, and I was actually a GM and personal trainer at a Workout Anytime directly before moving here so I'm very familiar with the company and have only had good experiences.

I used the gym for about a month with no incident, and only worked out late after staff hours. Today I was notified by Jason that I've been trespassed, and he refused to tell my why or let me contact anyone for further details.

I also found out they contacted my home club and lied about me refusing a liability waiver when I have never talked to staff until this point.

I'm very confused by the whole situation and hope it can still be cleared up. If not, I highly suggest avoiding this gym if their management is this unstable and unwilling to communicate.

When I brought up that some of the treadmills had “out of order signs” on them, he told me they were originally scheduled to be fixed a few days before but were now expected to be fixed that weekend. Gym on SW Allen Blvd. Woman at desk was OK but man (manager ?) was pretty rude.
Place insists on recording driver's license number. Says secure but we all know no info is secure when shared. Guess time to find another gym.

I had an appointment, was not first time in.

I have no problem with showing ID, I did not want my ODL number entered into your system. I explained I had suffered identity theft. No law requires you to record my ID.

At no time did I raise my voice, curse or be rude to any person there.

Jessica had, without my permission taken my photo the other day. I had told her I wanted a different photo taken.

At no point did you, Jessica or any other person say anything to me about my attire. If my hat had been a concern the time to say something would have been while I was in.

Manager's comment to me was 'OK, bye', said pretty rudely.

I challenge you to show my interactions were disrepectful. Odds are poor you could do so.

Lastly Jessica had stated reason to have ODL number is for collections. Not a good way to greet a prospective customer.

Any of my personal information or photos need to be removed from your system.

Let others be aware of the managers distortions of facts.

I've been coming here for at least 5 years and it's been one of my favorite spots. They have some lifting gear that just isn't available elsewhere, and their 3D body scanning is awesome.

Recently I was working out with my buddy when a trainer approached me and rudely interrupted our working set. He asked if I was a trainer (I am not). At first I jokingly said "I am today" because we like to help each other out on form when we can. This guy replied, "You can't train here."

After realizing he was serious, I said "Okay" and clarified that I was joking. "I don't care," he says. "You can't train here." There was a long and awkward pause, almost a standoff.

Since then he has seen us at the gym and will often watch us from afar. Other trainers have warned us about his strict "no training" policy. This has put a real wet blanket on our otherwise amazing experience at this gym - as I said, I've been going here for years and have encouraged many friends to sign up. We used to come in a group of 4-5 to work out.

I'll also say that this guy is the exception, and every other interaction with staff here has been fantastic.

i’m going to first and foremost apologize for taking so long to do my review.. i haven’t visited this facility in quite some time, and it’s been well over 6 months, but when i was there and signed up for a membership.. John showed the best service i’d seen in a long while.. very personable, yet very professional.. awesome guy with awesome energy.. i’ve cared his card in my picked the whole time, and i remembered telling him that i would absolutely write a review because i appreciated how great he was.. thank you John, and i hope all is going amazing for you..

Melissa and Jason are fantastic owners, this gym is absolutely amazing.. i look forward to returning soon..!
