Align Fitness is a private training studio in Downingtown PA offer 1-1, semi-private training, and nutrition coaching. We are all about you and safely helping you achieve your goals! Align takes a movement-based approach to fitness and athletic performance. This means we ensure movement quality and function first through biomechanical (movement) testing and corrective exercise (when necessary). This approach improves performance while reducing injury risk. All of our training options including our semi-private program incorporates this approach. We educate, coach, and motivate to help clients reach their fitness and performance goals. No matter your current fitness level and injury history we will help you move, feel, and perform better.

Align Fitness helped me get back to training after 8 years of not being able to do anything due to psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia. Before my diagnosis I was very active, so it was awful not being able to workout without getting a flare.
With the help of Greg at Align Fitness, I am now able to workout! Together we figured out what triggers the flares and he adjusted my program accordingly. I've been training with Greg for almost two years now and I finally feel alive again!

I’m pretty picky about ensuring form and technique are detailed out when it comes to strength training. So I have been thrilled at the level of care and attention I have been given in my sessions while also supportive materials when I’m in the gym on my own. I care in wanting to improve core and upper body. I not only have significantly improved but my overall body is stronger, more toned and defined than I could imagine. It gives me plenty of motivation to keep going.

With her degree in Exercise Science, Maeve is a knowledgeable, personable and skilled personal trainer. She designs your workouts based on where you are currently physically and what fitness goals you are looking to accomplish. She pushes you enough to make gains without overdoing it and causing injury. Her approach is not a cookie cutter workout. She changes things up to keep it interesting and makes adjustments based on your likes and physical capabilities. If you are looking to get back into shape or make tweaks to your current training, I would highly recommend using Maeve as your personal trainer.

Perhaps you have been hurt in a bootcamp or group class. If so, you're probably headed to a place like Align. They understand anatomy, mobility, and have a holistic approach to grow or sustain strength and flexibility. Form is everything for them. They're thinking a few steps ahead of where you are at, and they're fun! Greg and Joe rock!

I have worked with Cody at Align Fitness for over a year. He has shared extensive knowledge of the mechanics of the human body and the most effective techniques in weight training for targeting my most underutilized muscle groups. His personalized approach has identified how I can improve using my body as it was designed to be used, not only in a workout, but in daily life. Training with Cody is the only exercise I found myself committed to for this period of time. I highly recommend seeing him at Align Fitness in Downingtown.

Joe & Cody have been great! After an initial evaluation workout sessions and continued coaching have been targeted and tailored to my deficits, goals and current abilty.
The gym space itself is quiet and private, has plenty of parking and makes our workouts together simple and efficient.

Review for Align Fitness and Most Jacked Dads
I can’t recommend Align Fitness enough, especially their Most Jacked Dads program. It’s a fun, slightly competitive workout class designed for dads who want to level up their fitness while juggling busy lives. Greg, the trainer I worked with, is energetic, motivating, and knows how to make the workouts both challenging and doable.
What I love most is how Align Fitness brings such a positive vibe to the experience. Greg tailored exercises for me when I mentioned an injury, which really shows how much they care about individual needs. The culture of Most Jacked Dads is awesome—just a group of guys cheering each other on and occasionally ribbing each other in the best way possible.
I do the workouts from my basement, which makes it super convenient, and I still feel connected to the group in real-time. It’s been great for my energy, fitness, and maybe even my ego when my kids notice my “dad muscles.” Align Fitness nailed it with this program—it’s the perfect mix of fun, focus, and results.

I recently started working with Niki and had been working with a gym chain personal trainer. What a difference coming to Align Fitness has been for me. In the short time I’ve been working with Niki, I have been making more progress than I did at the chain gym for the past 2 years. Her persistent attention to the details and how I am doing my workouts has been amazing for me. She customizes and makes them fun as I progress each week. She is also very attentive to take care with any soreness or injuries that I may be experiencing. I’m thrilled that I found Align Fitness to help jumpstart my journey back into regularly working out. Greg creates circuit-based workouts for each of my sessions that are appropriately challenging based on my history and current levels. Brynn and Joe create workouts that keep me challenged and on track with my fitness goals. They are great at explaining each exercise/set and they both push me to get the most out of every workout. No workout is the same and I feel as if new accomplishments occur each week!
Joe and Gregg also helped my son work through a hip injury during his golf season. They were great at helping him identify the problem and creating a plan for stretching and working on getting his lower body stronger.

We completed an 8 session private couples Steel Mace Flow class with Greg Ondo. He customized the training for us, the pace was just right, we learned the basics of the steel mace, and he added some good circuit type exercises. Greg was always prepared and varied the workouts enough that we didn't get bored. We will take training from him again.

Love the encouraging and knowledgeable Brynn! Always knows how to tweak my workout and keep it challenging considering my ailment of the day. Kept me in the strength training mode even with a broken foot without impairing my healing time. Brynn has improved my tennis game and has kept my fitness goals achievable. Brynn knows when to laugh with you and when to push you. This is my best gym expert to date. Have tried it all and so happy Arianne (also AMAZING) suggested Align.

I am so happy I found Align! I had abdominal surgery six months ago and my fitness has suffered from both the surgery itself and from months spent lying and sitting while I recovered. When my surgeon cleared me for full activity, I had no idea where to start. Bryn has been bot patient and motivating as I’ve struggled to start moving again and regain some fitness. I’m seeing so many results already and I can do so much more on my own than I could before I started working with Bryn. I absolutely recommend Align for anyone who doesn’t know where to start or how to restart after surgery or an injury!

I have been seeing Greg at Align Fitness in Downingtown for over a month now, and they have met and exceeded my expectations in every way. When I found them online and reached out, I was contacted quickly and found them to be very professional - clearly expressing interest in me and what I was looking for, as well as going over Covid-safe measures the business was taking.
They offered me a phenomenal starter package, including 3 hours of training and an introductory session to go over my goals and get a general feel for my fitness level. Greg immediately proved to me that he knows what he is doing, and over the next 4 sessions he proved that he really took into consideration everything we went over in our intro!
I would recommend Greg to anyone who is serious about their fitness and might be struggling in these strange times. I plan to continue seeing him and cant wait to take myself to the next level with his guidance!

As an artist I'm tempted to start by raving about the mid-century modern building that begs "come inside", but I'll forgo that and head straight to the business: I came to Align Fitness a bit wary of "trainers". In the past I've had a number of injuries to my lower back, shoulder, and knee which were ignored by trainers at some of the top gyms, which, or course, led to more injury. Not the case at Align Fitness! While Joe Chaitken isn't handling me like a breakable object, he's displayed an awareness of my limitations, and an interest in finding the "right" workouts to strengthen those trouble areas so that injury remains part of my past. After only a few session I was feeling stronger and more energetic. Joe has a unique way of making me want to push, without trying to make me push. He always seems to know right when I need a little encouraging nudge, and when I need to catch my breath and chill for a moment. I look forward to every session, and look forward to what I already know will be astonishing results!

I am a Physical Therapist and refer many of my patients to him. He does a great job with clients just coming back from an injury/PT. He will take the time to analyze their movement to ensure that its safe and they get their max benefit!
