I would like to advise everyone on how this gym works I'm a truck driver I was in the area so I got a membership my work took me to a different location where they didn't have anytime fitness available so I tried to contact the gym to cancel my membership buy text and call and email no response all they want is money they Don't return calls then they turn the you in to collections the gym smells like a bucket of piss the showers are nasty the place is just dirty and every unprofessional

DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE! Me and my boyfriend signed up for a month to month membership so that we can cancel anytime. When we decided to cancel it I tried calling them multiple times (NO RESPONSE) I left messages (NO RESPONSE) I went to their location no one was there ever. I finally filed a dispute through my credit card company to cancel payments. I thought everything was fine. Now here I am getting calls from a debt collector saying that I owe them money!!! I tried calling months later about this. Suprise suprise. No response. I am fuming!!

Anytime fitness Tunkhannock , PA , very nice gym clean machines is all new nice atmosphere and have tanning machine and the bathrooms always clean for showering if you need too , and there is new manager but his not always there but we ask him questions he respect customers and answer what we need to know ,good luck 🍀

I have been calling both the studio and apparently the owner (phone number was left in review below) for MONTHS and leaving messages. I need to cancel my membership, I have moved out of the area. They do not answer, or return any calls. I have also tried contacting corporate. I continue to be charged twice a month and it is completely unfair.

Gyms nice, staff is friendly but as a company their practices are trash. 50 bucks a month, you locked in for a year, if you want out early you have to pay the rest and once you finally do end it they charge you two more times because you have to give them a months notice.

Signed up about a year ago with the intent of getting in better shape. Went to the gym about 4 times, and have never been made to feel more unwelcome than the members here did. I was under the understanding that everybody was there to work on something, but anytime I tried to use any equipment the laughter and comments from others was to much to deal with. Absolutely ruined my goal of getting in shape and now I'm stuck paying for a membership that I will not use, just waiting for the contract to expire so I can stop paying these clowns.

24hrs a day. Stationary biking, walking, stepper. Arm, back, leg machines. Free weights. Aerobic pad area. 3 bathrooms of which 2 have showers. Tanning room. A friend can try it out when you come, during daytime hours when a staff member is there. Doors are locked during non-staff hours, so you gain access using your keyfob.

I’ve been to multiple Anytime Fitness locations around PA, and I can say without a doubt that the Tunkhannock location is the cleanest, most well run, and most environmentally friendly location out of all of them. I always see the manager, Cory, constantly cleaning equipment, the floors, mirrors, bathrooms, and so on. On top of that, he makes sure everybody in the gym is having a good time, is working out safely, and is enjoying their experience. Cory definitely makes this anytime a much better location than the others. If i were to have one complaint it would be lack of certain equipment, and also maybe the price. However, it’s impossible to make everybody happy. I also know Cory has pushed for certain equipment that he can’t seem to get. 11/10 would recommend.

This gym is pretty nice, nicer than my home gym. It's in half of an old Walmart building so there's plenty of space. All the machines are relatively new and working. The aerobics room is good size and well stocked. The bathrooms and showers are nice and clean. They also have tanning booths but I've never used them.

I joined the gym several years ago. I live out of the area, but wanted to have a place to workout when I was in town. When I decided to return the key fob since I wasn't able to utilize the facility, Anytime Fitness, would not honor my request. Even after speaking to the regional manager, they would not give me my 30.00 back that I was required to leave as a deposit for the fob. They claimed their records did not go back that far and they had no record of me in their system and therefore they were not responsible to give me my money back. I even offered to bring the fob back as proof and they refused to help me, or refund my money.

I always look forward to go to the gym. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. Tim the trainer is absolutely amazing and gives you 110% of his attention and dedication. This gym's pretty awesome! The equipment and bathrooms+showers are always clean and they also have a tanning booth. There are 3 things that are super important to me and it's the reason I picked anytime over other gyms in the area:
They're open 24 hours! I work crazy hours so I'm grateful to pop in whenever I want
It's a chain! I'm originally from New Jersey so when I go home or travel for work, I can always find an anytime fitness.
They have digits classes! They have a projector and you can pick from a million classes to work out to. so you don't have to work around class timings or anything. So convenient!

Plus they have a personal trainer if you need one as well. Staff is super friendly. Highly recommend. :)

I travel for work and use quite a few Anytime Fitness gyms. This one is pretty big, with lots of room, which is good. The only problem I see with it is that it had less equipment than most all I have been to. I don't mean to say it's under equipped, but there are quite a few machines I would like to see here. All in all, a great place to work out.
