Under new ownership, New Management, they are painting and doing a lot of nice new things, like a reasonably priced vending machine for protein snacks. Cleaner and not as crowded as planet fitness locations. Been a member here for 6 years.

I have Meniere's, BPPV, BVH and vestibular migraines, and i wear Progressive eye glasses. I decided to take action. The rest of my body needs to be strengthened to help all the junk in my head.
ANYTIME FITNESS at Mt. Nebo Point has been the best decision for me.
At my fitness evaluation with Colin Morse, he explained that wearing Progressives can make those of us with vestibular issues more prone to dizziness, etc. My otolarynologist/ ENT never mentioned this! Nor did my vest PT or PCP!
He and my incredible trainer Chris developed a program tailored to those concerns.
When I went for my annual eye exam I asked about the correlations between vestibular/Progressives. My doctor agreed with that possibility.
Through this journey both Colin & Chris have been so kind & motivating, adapting my work out as needed but pushing me forward.

I too am having difficulty canceling my membership. When I signed up with Riz, he and I agreed that instead of me joining through my UPMC account for $25 a MONTH to use a combination of gyms in the area that I would only sign with Anytime for $25 a MONTH. Instead, I'm being charged biweekly. I have asked for a refund for one of the months where I was charged 3 times and was told it would be refunded. That refund never came. I then canceled my whole membership in June over e-mail but I'm still being charged. I've waited 30 days in hopes it was just a timing issue. I did not cancel in person because I have never seen Riz again. He does not keep regular hours at the gym, even though it says there is staff on duty during certain hours. I called this morning to have someone call me, but the person's name on the voicemail is not the owner's or his wife's name.

The gym is very small as compared to other gyms in the area. This gym is costly only for it cleanliness. The equipment are limited one has to always wait for other person to complete this set to grab the equipment.

The cancellation policy is made as hard as possible and the owner got rude to me when I asked for cancellation.

Note: Under no circumstance sign a contract with them.

I see your response, if you need a proof of my overseas visit you should have asked for it when we talked. I will come to gym today with proof of my overseas visit. Your representative told me I will not be charged for February and then the next day I was charged. Why was I given wrong information. Leave all that the way the owner (won't take names here) talked me was rude and disrespectful.

Do not under any circumstances sign up with any anytime fitness branch.

The equipment, amenities, etc, are fine. However, cancellation is made as difficult as possible. You can ONLY cancel in person, during the extremely narrow window of time when an employee is on site. Already a problem, since the big appeal of a 24 hour gym is for people who's availability is during very odd hours.

They will REFUSE to let you cancel over the phone under any circumstances.

I called post-covid lockdown and informed them that I have both relocated, and was subsequently unable to reach my branch to cancel in person during the hours listed. I was told I would have to send a certified mail cancellation, (aka go to a post office and pay extra for the letter) if I wanted to do so by mail. Simply calling or emailing isn't enough, because they will give you the run around and hope you get frustrated, give up, and they can bleed you for a few more months.

My advice, pick a gym that doesn't need to hold your membership hostage in order to keep clients.

I have never had an issue with the cleanliness at an anytime fitness location until I went to this location. Bathrooms smelled horrible multiple times I’ve been there and there was even an instance where someone threw up on the sink and left the bathroom like that. You can complain to management but they’ll ignore you because they don’t care. It’s enough for me to look elsewhere than renew my membership here.

Most definitely not hear to bash a local business owner, however needing to give constructive criticism....I am a PROUD member of the Mt.Nebo location, it's CLEAN, BRIGHT, BIG FANS, and equipment is TOP notch... loving the A.F model of using other locations, I dropped my daughter at GYMKHANA of next door it hopes to a convient workout...

WOW - I am highly disappointed if how the franchise owner allows this gym to be kept... Dirty, dust and Cob webs all over the walls by the old dated treadmills....I highly suggest the owners going to tour the other location so they can be more competitive, not to mention that particular location has a lower price.

I would give a better review, but with only one interaction with staff, the personal trainer that was at the location when I was displayed rude behaviour and rushed me off of equipment two separate times in an hour. Otherwise from a cleanliness aspect the gym is mostly new equipment and everything is well maintained. Barbells felt cheap in my opinion, but with what you'd expect from a chain gym. Location wasn't super packed in the morning. Most of the community was pleasant. Overall a good af location.

The whole place is super clean and has beautiful equipment. They have towel/spray stations all over- which is something I really appreciate. I only met one trainer, (Alex)and he was so helpful getting me registered.
There's nothing not to love about this gym. It seems really well managed.

They are nice until you want to cancel your membership. Took us MONTHS to get ahold of someone and get answers. We emailed, sent texts ( to the number they have texted us from promoting the personal training ), called, and went in during staffed hours with no staff in the gym. Our membership ended in August. August came and went not being able to get ahold of anyone. I emailed them, and Pierre, the gym manager was attached to the email reply I got back from Anytime. He then lied and said he never got an email or text ( yet he texted me back ). Come October we went down again during staffed hours and saw the other trainer. He told us we needed the manager to cancel the membership. So again, we have to chase this person around trying to cancel. He finally sent us the paperwork to cancel. We canceled. This past week, we were charged AGAIN for another month. For some bizarre reason they canceled 1 of our 2 memberships. We signed up the same day, together, under the same account. Called and spoke to Pierre. He said come in Saturday I will be in the gym until 11:30AM. My fiancé went Saturday morning around 10am. Cannot get into the gym as our key fobs don’t work since we aren’t members anymore. We both called, after my fiancé waiting and calling over a half hour he left. I called 9 times between Pierres cell number and the gym number and finally get ahold of him. He’s ignorant and says how he’s busy doing this and that and how no one has come in to see him. I call my fiancé back and told him to go back because now this guy decided to answer. While talking to Pierre on the phone, I proceeded to tell him my fiancé can’t get into the gym because we aren’t members anymore so we have no key fobs... common sense. He then asks me why he didn’t come in the left door... again I said we have no membership and if a random person is walking through the gym you’ll question what they’re doing. Apparently the left door is left unlocked. Not sure how we are supposed to just know that? My fiancé finally got in and told him to just cancel everything. Never again. Absolute worst customer service. We will see if they try to charge us again next month.

Anyone looking to join a gym in the Wexford/North Hills area would be best served joining Anytime Fitness. The owners and staff do an excellent job cleaning and maintaining their facilities, which is especially important given the COVID-19 pandemic. Family owned facility with personable staff. The gym is never crowded and waiting for equipment is rarely an issue. Unlike other gyms that are sweltering in the summer time, this facility is kept at an appropriate temperature year round.

Very nice facility. Not large but really nicely laid out. We like a ever changing workout routine and they have great variety of equipment. Spotless and Clean too. Owners very friendly. We are out-of-towners who visit the area frequently and we always pick this gym to do out workouts while in town. If we were locals we'd certainly get a full membership!

So I’ve been A member here for about a year and lately money been a little bit tight since I take care of my grandmother so I told them to put my account on hold for a few months so that it’s at least an extra bill I do not have to pay while I get my finances in order well today I go on and they took $70 out of my account even though I put a hold on it a couple weeks ago.. Now I can’t afford my grandmothers medications thank you anytime fitness for being like every other business money grabbing

Love this gym. Recommend it to all of my friends and family. You get a full gym membership without the crowds that go places like planet fitness or the YMCA, and they have great rates for everything they offer. Classes are well tsught and schedules and I once watched the gym owner clean the INSIDE OF THE TRASH CAN LID.... If you had any question of detailed cleanliness you can absolutely rest assured this gym is clean.

A great example of the Anytime Fitness corporation! The gym has a positive atmosphere with very kind and knowledgeable staff members. Management is very active with the day to day operations so they are able to answer customers questions or suggestions; this isn’t always the case with most gyms. They only have stand up tanning bed and I can hardly reach the buttons plus it’s only open till 7 pm

Who wants to stand up anther 10 minuets in a day? With flat feet my feet hurt without cushion

I believe they bought the stand up bed to restrict people using it

This is the perfect gym for me! There are never any lines for equipment, it is extremely clean, the owners are super friendly, and their personal trainers are extremely knowledgeable and very encouraging. I love that the gym is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and I can go anytime I want, even on holidays! The variety of equipment is more than adequate to suit my needs, and I will admit that I have really come to love the massage and tanning beds ;-)

The gym was really clean, all the equipments were new. This is a state of the art facility. I signed up for a guest pass for 7 days on their website. When I came in to use the free guest pass, they took me on a nice tour. At the end of the tour, the sale rep was pushing the 1 dollar deal on me. I told him that I wanted to try the facility first prior to signing any paperwork. We went back and forth and lastly denied my free guest pass. We ended up walking out.
