Our whole-body treatment philosophy allows us to effectively integrate a variety of evidence-based health and wellness practices to maximize our clients’ goals. Located in the center of historical North Wales Borough, our private wellness center is fully equipped with a physical therapy evaluation room, fitness facilities and adjacent boxing studio.

I love being a mom, and I love my career, but there have been times when I did not love myself. When I first met Shaun, I was overweight and at an all-time emotional low. I tried many times to get my act together but could not do it alone. My first consultation with Shaun was spent talking through and understanding my goals. During our meeting I started to feel inspired and motivated that I could start my journey to a healthier lifestyle. He listened to me and understood the patience and motivation that I required. I am a 70-year-old male. I have worked with several trainers one-on-one for brief periods over my adult years until I started training with Shaun on a continuous basis over the last 11 years. As a result of his multifaceted expertise as a trainer and motivator he has become an indispensable partner in my wellness journey as I progress through the years.
Shaun has an extraordinary ability to listen and tune into my evolving training and rehabilitation support needs. Our journey together started with a primary focus on strength training as I needed reinforcement to challenge me beyond my comfort zone. He is an exceptional “kick butt” motivator, full of energy and passion. He brings an endless range of highly effective strength training, cardio and stretching routines in his portfolio. As a result, my training has transitioned seamlessly with him between gyms, outdoors parks, at my home gym, and currently at his APX Fitness Gym located in North Wales.
What catapults Shaun into the exceptional category as a trainer for my needs has been his guidance and remedial support in successfully dealing with several of my neuromuscular imbalances. They have ranged from poor posture, to dragging my right leg while walking due to a torn meniscus, as well as supplemental rehabilitation after major shoulder surgery and being “medically” discharged by my orthopedic surgeon after months of physical therapy (PT). It took Shaun one training session after my PT for him to pinpoint how severely my right and left shoulder and arm movements were misaligned along with the limitations in my range of motion. He immediately adapted my training program to successfully resolve these imbalances and lack of symmetry. I am deeply grateful to Shaun for his careful attention to my ever-changing body dynamics and training needs as I grow older. I have no doubt that without his skillful guidance and support over the last decade I would be limping along through life today with several physical deformities and their associated limitations and physical pain.
I highly recommend Shaun to you as an outstanding personal trainer and neuromuscular rehabilitation partner.

Shaun is the best trainer I’ve ever had. He is honestly one of the most knowledgeable, versatile, motivating and overall positive guys I’ve ever known. He’s had my back through divorce, deaths, bad nutrition and world pandemics.
