Josh is an awesome trainer. He has so much enthusiasm and makes workouts fun and motivational. I struggle with POTS and EDS and Josh has been so willing to learn about these and incorporate exercises into my program that keep me from flare ups and injuries. It’s made a world of difference and I 100% would recommend.

My wife and I have been training with Josh for several years. He is enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He makes the training sessions fun and interesting while cajoling us to focus on our form and reps. It’s amazing how much he knows about the body and where we need to focus on strengthening underutilized muscles.

Our family has been working with Josh since 2020 - I credit him with getting us all through the pandemic! Our son works out with him regularly and has become stronger and better at his sport as a result. Josh always brings positive energy along with expertise in exercise and overall healthy habits to each workout, and he designs exercise programs for each person individually to start from where they are and work upward from there. There are a lot of exercise options out there, but personalized advice and support from Josh has yielded the best results for us. I can't recommend him enough!

Josh is the realest you will ever find. Not only is he great in his line of work, he is even better as a person. He has positively influenced both me and the people around me not only physically, but mentally as well. He has helped mold me into the person that I am today. I have been seeing Josh for a few years now and it was one of the best things I have done. He helped me far more than I ever expected. When I started with Josh, I was extremely skinny, small, weak, and needed a change. Thanks to Josh, the same small kid bulked up and is now benching 225, which I thought would've been impossible for me. Josh and Authentic Personal Fitness is definitely the way to go!

This trainer absolutely changed my life. I started with him 3 years ago working out in my garage. His thoughtfulness and charisma made workouts fun, and I’ve gotten into body-building because of him! I started with Josh over a year ago. I had let myself get to a point that I never thought I could come back from. I’ve tried diets and have lost weight in the past, but as soon as I stopped with the hard core diets I would gain back all the weight plus more. A lot more. Our first meeting together I let Josh know that I was looking for a change. I wanted to learn how to get, and keep, myself happy and healthy without crazy ups and downs. Josh has been supportive every step of the way. I started at 245 and am down to 185lbs.
With Josh’s personalized nutrition guidance, as well as the physical fitness aspect, I am learning how to live life healthy and still be able to enjoy myself without crazy strict fad diets.
Any time someone asks me what I’ve been doing I pass Josh’s contact info on. He has the knowledge and experience to help any and everyone. He can help with weight loss, training for sports, or just staying healthy and fit as you age.
I Love that I don’t have to go to a giant gym and feel weird or embarrassed. I love that Josh knows how to push your limits of strength and endurance, but in a way that you don’t feel overwhelmed. He has kept me motivated and able to push through what I thought were my limits.
Overall life changer for me and my family. Couldn’t be more pleased with APF and will continue my journey even after reaching my goal weight.

I'd been reading/hearing about weightlifting/resistance work to maintain bone as we age and thought I would give Josh a try based on a friend's successful experience with him. Wow! So happy I did! Even though I generally felt fit, I've learned there is so much more to "FIT"! More muscle mass means better sleep; strength training regulates hormones and increases insulin sensitivity, it increases levels of human growth hormone (HGH) - a hormone that helps heal leaky gut, and, women's female hormones can't be balanced without adequate muscle mass. Amazing how good weightlifting is for the human body! If you care about your metabolic health, connect with Josh! And even if you just want your arms to look great this summer, Josh is your guy! I highly recommend this knowledgeable, caring, fun and skilled trainer!

Josh is like no other fitness trainer! He is very knowledgeable about strength and conditioning, but also about physical therapy and nutrition! He works with my daughter as well and connects just as well with teenagers as with 50-60 somethings. So so so glad we found Josh!

I started to go to Josh about this time last year to start my fitness journey. I was nervous because I never had a personal athletic trainer before yet, explain fitness plans with anyone before.
