Barre3 is an efficient and effective workout that combines strength, cardio, and mindfulness, designed to teach people to be balanced in body and empowered from within. When you work out with us, you’ll move through low-impact isometric moves, large-range cardio bursts, and mind-centering breath work. Barre3 instructors will challenge you to find your edge while creating space for you to define what success looks like for you in every workout.

I have been coming to Barre3 for the past several years and have always found it to be welcoming, stimulating, friendly, and always fun. I am over 70 and find it easy to modify any exercises that I need to with encouragement from any instructor I have followed. The group is mixed in ages, and I have always found the group to be accepting and encouraging. The front desk staff is exceptional as well. I drive 40 minutes to get there so you know I like it!

Instruction is excellent. Staff very welcoming. I have had a problem with a fat back and have spent thousands of dollars on non invasive sculpting procedures with minimum results. However within 7 weeks I’ve detected a considerable improvement on my back - so the various exercises we do in Barre 3 actually resulted in spot reduction for me. I highly recommend.

I’m new to the area ( moved from Hershey) and decided to try Barre3 Blue Bell a few weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I have tried many exercise formats in the past but after just a few classes at Barre3 I knew this was something I could do for years to come (I’m in my 50’s). It is very challenging and the impact on the body can be low to high depending on modifications. As an RN I appreciate overall health and wellness and any exercise program that supports strength, balance and mindfulness.

I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the right hip in late 2023. I've had 2 steroid injections and intense PT that cost me $130/ session three times a week for couple of months. Unfortunately none of those remedies worked for me. I had little to no strength on my right side and knew I had to work out consistently to get better. A friend recommended Barre3 and I joined her for free class. It was intense because I couldn't work out for a long time due to pain, but it did not cause greater stress/pain than my baseline. With much hope I signed up for unlimited class and dove right in. With another injection, I have almost all mobility back without pain and I know it's thanks to Barre3. The instructors make class fun and motivating. I may still need to get total hip joint replacement in the future, but I know that I will be much stronger by then and I will be able to bound back faster after the procedure. Until then I am enjoying staying active and sweating!

After over 5 years of taking a long break from exercising due to having kids, telling myself I had no time to work out, and making all of the excuses, the day after my 41st birthday I decided to try barre-3. It was a free class to start so I figured why not, and pre-kids I loved barre classes at another studio where I lived then. Well, I was totally hooked after one class, signed up for an unlimited class monthly package that day, and have been going at least 3x each week since. There are many classes to choose from and each instructor provides modifications if a certain movement doesn’t work for you. No judgment, no pressure, just a great class that will make you feel good about yourself for showing up! So, if you’re like me and have been away from exercise for a while, or you’re just looking for something fun as a new workout, barre-3 is for you!

Recently completed a weeks worth of barre3 at blue bell and I’m HOOKED. Why ? 1) The full body workout. I never left without feeling like I really took advantage of my hour and worked so many muscle groups + the cardio burts ! 2) the vibes. The instructors are motivating and encouraging and you are always offered modifications so that you can make the workout work for you. As you get pumped up the music gets a little louder, the lights get a little lower. It’s something I haven’t experienced elsewhere and in my opinion really is the icing on the cake.

barre3 has been a great "newbie" experience, and I say that as someone who has tried a lot of classes at a lot of places. The instructors are variable even in the same day/time, which gives you a different class each time. They each have their own teaching method, but the root of the classes is the same - work as hard as you can, but adjust as needed so that the workout serves you. Always offering ways to reduce the intensity for every posture, as well as challenges if you're feeling good. It's also really nice to not have to bring any equipment other than water (and even that they have!).

3-24-2024. Update to my previous review: Last week I completed my 500th class at Barre3 Blue Bell! Barre3 has been a part of my life and weekly routine for quite a few years. Initially, I would pay for and schedule classes in packages but loved the benefits of this program so much that I became a member of Barre3 Blue Bell. The signature classes are amazing in that they address balance, strength, a full body workout, stretching, and mindfulness. Recently, the addition of the Barre3 Strength classes have allowed me to focus more on that area, with guidance, as well. And, this is all done to music - what a win, win!! I love how I feel after class and the strength and stamina that I have built as a result. But, even better are the supportive and knowledgeable instructors and the amazing ladies who take class at B3 Blue Bell. I look forward to each and every class!!

Still remains an amazing studio with amazing, knowledgeable instructors Happy 5th Anniversary! So happy to have been taking class almost since the beginning!!

The studio is beautiful and seems very clean. I especially appreciated the water filling station (byob) as well as all of the options in the bathroom in case they are needed, sprays and wipes and sanitary supplies. All of the staff were very friendly. As a first timer, I wasn't really sure what to expect because I didn't look anything up ahead of time and I am pretty athletic and work out about 5 times a week, weightlifting doing yoga, Pilates, and cycling on a road/mountain bike so I figured whatever it was, I would be fine. The class was actually challenging for me and engaged muscles that Other exercises I am doing have not engaged. It's core and cardio and weights sometimes all at once. The studio is 52 minutes from my home so I probably only see myself coming there once or twice a month but I appreciate that there are class packages. I was brought today by someone who is a member so she showed me around, but if I were coming alone, a staff member would've shown me the ropes and gave me an idea of what to expect. As someone who has worked at a yoga studio before and is aware of first time jitters for anyone walking into a new space, it was nice to know they offer that. was lucky to have someone show me the ropes. Their level of communication before I even showed up was more than I needed, but absolutely welcoming and helpful. They checked in to see when I wanted to schedule (after receiving my name for a free class from my friend), they asked if I had questions, told me what to wear, when to arrive to fill out first timer paperwork and let me know what I needed to bring and what they provided for the class. Overall I really enjoyed my experience and I will return despite the distance. They also have cute workout clothes in the lobby to purchase and a discount rack for those on a budget.

I am so impressed with this studio! I came to visit my family in Philadelphia and took classes here almost every day during my stay. I loved it so much that when I returned home to Maine, I kept my membership going so I could keep attending via livestream. I haven't had this much fun working out in years! What stands out to me the most about this studio is the consistently high quality of instruction. The teachers are exceptionally well-trained and each one adds their own unique value. If you are thinking about taking a class here, don't think! Just do it. You will be so glad you did.

Prior to starting a membership here I had never belonged to a gym or worked out regularly. I like to run, but I wanted to find something else that would offer a great workout. I took advantage of a promotion they were offering for my first week of classes. I loved it after the very first class. It’s everything I look for in a workout: core strengthening, cardio, glutes, balance and breathing are some of the main focus points. I feel the burn after each class because there is always a chance to push yourself a little further than you are used to. The instructors are encouraging, but they give the option to modify each set to fit your comfort level. You get the workout that fits what you need! I love attending class in person and like that there is a virtual option as well. If you are looking to start, don’t hesitate, it’s definitely worth it!

I found my home! Love everything about this studio but most importantly the instructors. They are all fantastic without exception. The studio is light and clean (immaculate) and the staff is warm and welcoming. Emily Rothrock sets the tone for this amazing studio!
It's now been 5 years since I took my first class at this studio. I love it even more than when I first started (if that is possible). The classes have evolved over the years and so have I. It is a total body workout that does not leave you with injuries! My posture is better, my core strength and balance. It is a really great way to stay in shape.... and make friends at the same time!

I used to do yoga but wanted something more upbeat and fun. Barre3 delivered with classes that feature fun music, helpful instructors, and a beautiful and clean studio. I am usually the only guy in class but the instructor and attendees have always been welcoming.

When I tore my ACL in 2017, I realized I wasn't focusing on lateral movement and my core. I started attending classes at barre3 in Blue Bell in 2018 and have never looked back! They have been my rock before, during, and as we are coming out of COVID. I attribute my success in being able to do triathlons, long distance races, and 100-mile bike rides in large part to Emily and her amazing barre3 team! I feel challenged and like I've done something good for myself after taking a class with any one of the encouraging and knowledgeable instructors. My toddler likes going to the play lounge and seeing new faces, and exploring new toys and books. It's a win, win for us. Love this studio! At Barre3 you are encouraged to take what you need and leave what you don't. You are encouraged to listen to your body, modify as needed and push where you can. I started at B3 Blue Bell over 3 years ago when I was trying to find a little respite after my daughter was diagnosed w/ autism. I knew I needed to build my stamina and get myself back in shape, but what I gained from this studio was so much more. I found “my people!” I also found the push to do more because of the incredible instructors at this studio. Each and every one deserve a personal shout out! They all bring their own unique blend of spice to each class. So you’re never getting the same class twice. The owner, Emily, is someone that actually cares about her clients. She is a rockstar! B3 Blue Bell is a safe space. It’s inclusive; no matter your level of exercise ability, strength, gender, race, etc. It’s a community of just people looking to move. For whatever reason brought them through the doors that day, and to have FUN!! I LOVE B3!!!

I have absolutely fallen in love with Barre3 over the past year! The Blue Bell studio did a tremendous job navigating the pandemic and the continuation of virtual classes means I can get my workout in at home, with a live class! This mix of cardio, strength, yoga, stretch, and ab work is a full body workout with plenty of modifications as you grow stronger. Highly recommend, every instructor is a little different but all are helpful, kind, and will deliver you an amazing workout. 5 minutes of meditation at the end always sets my day on the right path during morning routines and ends my day with calm during an evening routine. Cannot recommend this studio and these classes enough!

I am 62 and have always been a walker, doing about 7+ miles a day and that was great for my heart but I wanted to tone up as well without HIIT. A friend suggested I try Barre3 as she goes and has seen results using the low intensity workout. I joined in February and am so glad I did. The instructors Emily, Chelsea and Monica are great and so helpful.
Form is important when doing Barre3 and it could be easy to get lazy because even at low intensity, your muscles will feel it but I have noticed my pain threshold getting better and am able to work through complete sets without giving up.
I am looking forward as we move back to normal classes to have more instructor interaction to help with form if needed because it is a workout that I feel will help my body achieve exactly what I wanted.

I was previously a member of the Rittenhouse Barre3 studio and recently changed to the Blue Bell studio after moving to the area, and I love it. Their studio is new and clean, and I am a fan of hardwood floors in the studio as opposed to carpeted floors that other studios have. The friendliness of the instructors and staff is inviting and makes you want to come back every time. The music is great too and keeps to the rhythm of the workout. Highly recommend this studio!

Joining Barre3 in Blue Bell has been one of the best things I've done for myself! I can't say enough good things about this studio. The instructors are so incredibly motivating and encouraging. It is NOT intimidating but instead a very supportive and empowering environment! The classes are so fun and such a great work out - they go SO fast! The music is excellent and the instructors are so helpful, kind, and friendly to everyone! I never dread going to a barre3 class - I look forward to it! The studio is also very clean and has a nice space for child care during certain classes. The flexibility of making your own schedule is a game changer as well!
