I’ve been a member of Bent on Better for over 8 years, and I can’t say enough good things about it. I like the variety of workouts, the helpful and friendly trainers, and most of all, being part of such a great gym community. The people truly are the best part. Everyone is welcoming and supportive from the moment you step in the door, whether you’re experienced or it's your first time in a gym, and no matter your body type.

When I first joined, I was nervous because I had never worked out before. A few weeks in, I wasn’t sure if it was right for me, but a member encouraged me to stick with it - and he was right. I fell in love with Bent on Better and have never looked back. I now look forward to the 5:30 PM class 4 nights a week, enjoying a great workout while spending time with friends.

My wife was thinking about her and myself joining a gym together. I have belonged to several gym’s in the past but after walking into them I always wondered “what do I do?”, “Am I doing this right?”. I didn’t want to spend the money on a monthly gym membership and then get little or nothing out of it at the end of the month. My wife decided on trying Bent On Better. It was the BEST decision. After walking in there the first day and excited (and a little nervous) to get started, I could tell this is the right place. The trainers there help you, get to know you personally, learn what goals you have and guide you along the way. They are there for you and don’t just help you out in the beginning and then you are on your own. No, they help you achieve your goals everyday you walk in the gym. The other members there are just as great too. Everybody there is there for each other. They cheer each other on and make you feel at home. You don’t feel like a fish out of water with everyone knowing what to do, and you just sitting there feeling out of place. Everyone works at their own pace and are there for each other. I have made friendships with people in the gym and the excellent trainers at Bent on Better. The owners are great people and it feels like a family here. It feels like a community of people there for each other. After being there for a year I feel better today than I have in a long time. I am more flexible and mobile today. I feel healthier by going. I feel good I joined this place and happy I am going and doing it right the way! Years from now I didn’t want to look back and wished I did something when I was younger like working out and regret not doing it. If you are nervous about joining a gym, nervous about working out if front of others who you feel are more experienced then you, haven’t worked out in years or may have never worked out…this is the place you want to try. You will wish you have done it sooner. Trust me!

I joined Bent On Better (BOB) in 2018 with almost no workout experience and zero background in lifting weights. From day one, the trainers were incredible—teaching me proper lifting techniques, building my confidence, and giving me the foundation to safely increase my weights.

When I started, I was dealing with knee and back pain. The BOB team gave me targeted exercises to strengthen my muscles and improve core stability. If an exercise wasn’t right for my knees or back, they always provided safe, effective variations.

But what truly set BOB apart was the atmosphere—they made working out fun. The trainers, the members, the energy—it was all upbeat and motivating. Even on the tough mornings before work, I left every session feeling better and happier.

BOB became my happy place. I met so many wonderful people and made lifelong friends. While I’m no longer training there, I still keep in touch with the BOB crew and love sharing updates on my lifting journey. I’m so glad I took that first step back in 2018!

When I decided to join B.O.B, I'd been searching for a gym for a while. My membership at LA Fitness wasn't providing what I wanted anymore. I was looking for a place that held me accountable AND motivated me. I also wanted more of a one on one, small community that helped each other. I found that in B.O.B. So happy I joined. Its only been about 6mos and I'm looking forward to my future progress.

As Bobby told me, it's not about the number on scale! For me, it's about getting healthier and stronger. I feel that in my every day life. 🤗🤗

I hit my one year anniversary July 15, 2025. It has a been a wonderful experience. I just recently hit my 100 sessions mark! woohoo!!! The team of BoB coaches are fantastic. I hurt my back at home a few weeks ago and was hesitant on working out.

I talked to Bobby, one of the coaches, and suggested i come in and see how we can modify some of the movements until I'm back to myself. I'm glad I did. The patience he has and all the coaches have is fantastic. As he told me "movement is medicine". I'm back to myself again.

I am maintaining the progress I've made and am feeling stronger and more confident with each session. My BP is down and my cholesterol! As I stated before, I'm very happy that I found this gym; this community. Lets go!!!

Having spent some time trying to get myself back into working out I just couldn’t get out of my slump. Enter Bent On Better! What a fantastic place to re-find my strength and happiness. Small Group Training allows you to get that personal training feel but in a small group so you make friends and can cheer each other on as you meet your goals - which you absolutely will! The highly skilled trainers are ready with modifications for whatever level you need and are always there with a fist bump and words of encouragement. I also hugely appreciate that they actually listen to you and to what you need. So glad I found this gym and I am on the road to smashing my goals and getting strong again!

Do you need to do something different? I did. Do you feel like your life is spiraling, for whatever reason? I did. Do you need accountability? I did. Do you want to be stronger? I am. I started at Bent on Better on the summer of 2024.
My goals were to lose weight, gain strength and muscle tone.
As the year progressed I faced a number of challenges, wrist pain from excessive computer use, a shoulder injury and a bout with pneumonia.
I was told by doctors that I would need surgery for my wrist pain. With the help and guidance of the trainers at BoB I have come a long way and no longer have chronic wrist pain and discomfort. When I flare up it is brief. All because I chose strength training with the coaches at BoB.
I was introduced to a wonderful Physical Therapist who collaborated with the coaches at BoB when it was time to rehab my shoulder injury. Again, because I did not want to go the surgical route that may have been suggested.

The staff and coaches at BoB are committed to making strength training accessible and achieveable for people at all levels.
The clientele are friendly and welcoming and support one another.
I am grateful to have added BoB as part of my physical activities and pursuit of good health.

I wanted to take a moment to share my personal journey with Bent on Better and how it has positively impacted my life. Back in September 2023, I underwent prostate cancer surgery, specifically a Radical Prostatectomy. This procedure involves removing the entire prostate gland, seminal vesicles, and sometimes nearby lymph nodes. It is quite common for prostate cancer that hasn't spread beyond the prostate, and thankfully, it has a success rate of 90-95%. However, one of the primary side effects of this surgery is urinary incontinence.

When I discussed this side effect with my surgeon, they recommended physical therapy (PT). Unfortunately, finding a physical therapist who treats men was quite challenging as incontinence is more prevalent in women. The wait time for an appointment was about 6-8 weeks, and once scheduled, the appointments were at varying times, making it difficult to manage. My surgeon mentioned that there was a surgical procedure that could help alleviate the incontinence, or I could explore alternative options. After spending over five weeks recovering from my last surgery, I was not keen on undergoing another round of abdominal surgery.

It was at this point that a friend recommended Bent on Better. She had an amazing experience working with the team at BOB, losing over 50 pounds, and significantly improving her strength and flexibility. Intrigued, I decided to have an initial consultation with Matt April, who runs Bent on Better. Matt conducted an assessment to determine my current physical condition and discuss my goals and objectives.

When I first started training, I couldn't even lift a 30-pound bag of dog food, and I was struggling with significant incontinence issues. However, after just a few months of training, my strength improved dramatically, and I can now easily lift that 30-pound bag. While the incontinence issues still occur occasionally, I much prefer going to the gym over another surgery.

I find that regular visits to the gym are essential for maintaining my progress and overall well-being. For anyone who hasn't worked out in a while, like me, the team at BOB can get you started at the right pace and help build you up to a level of success that you'll feel good about. The trainers are exceptional and design programs specifically tailored to your goals. Additionally, the supportive team environment at BOB ensures that everyone is there to encourage you in a stress-free, work-at-your-own-pace atmosphere.

It really is a personal experience at this gym. I attend morning sessions and the trainers (mostly Nick) will check on each person to make sure that they are doing each exercise correctly. It’s better to do 6-8 correct reps than 10 incorrect ones. I feel great after each session. Give it a try!

Bent on Better is a fantastic gym and a fantastic community. Every person from the owners to the coaches to the other members are all supportive, no matter what stage you are in your fitness journey. No one at Bent on Better tries to tell you what your goals or fitness path should look like, they just give you all the tools and support to follow your own path.

I joined Bent on Better in late January of this year. I had just come across a Facebook ad and followed up for more info, never expecting to join. From my first contact with the owner, Matt, I felt welcome and confident that I would be met right where I was, physically and emotionally, at that time. I should add, I'm not a gym person and never dreamed l'd find myself committed to strength training. But, at 54 years old, I was very overweight, struggling with back and joint pain, and feeling generally unwell. My own father had passed away suddenly years ago, at age 72. Remembering how he had struggled with mobility issues in his final years impelled me to try to make a change in myself. So I took that first step and did a trial membership. Now, six months in, I am still a member and I have never looked back.
In these months at BOB, I have found a strength within myself that I never knew existed. To say the training team is supportive and knowledgeable would be an understatement. Indeed, they teach me something new and help me hit milestones week after week, but it's their positivity, enthusiasm, and compassion that makes BOB so special. You know it from the moment you enter: you are in excellent, caring hands.
Thanks to Bent on Better, I have lost many pounds, have grown in strength and flexibility, and have gained a confidence in myself that I never had before. I had truly doubted that I could ever change my own life and improve my health as I have. And, I doubt very much, still, that I could do it alone. I am so grateful to the team at BOB for all that they do to help me on this journey, one that I hope to continue for many years to come. I have been a part of Bent on Better from the beginning of this year. My goal is to strengthen myself and pay attention to my own muscle mass. I was not sure I could step into a place with weights and dumbbells as I have not done any kind of training or even entered a gym before. 50+ Going on 35 (In My Head): A Love Letter to Bent On Better

Let’s be clear, I've never been one of those people who “lives to exercise.” I walk, hike, bike, chase after dogs, and yes, I was an All-State center fielder back in high school (cue the applause). But lifting weights and structured workouts? Not exactly my love language.

Fast forward to 4+ months ago, when 50+ me decided it was time to build strength, muscle mass, and generally become a shinier, stronger version of myself. So I joined Bent On Better, and it’s honestly the best decision I’ve made this decade.

Is it hard? Yes.
Do I sometimes look like I’m being tortured mid-class? Also yes.
Do I love it? Weirdly... yes again.

What makes this gym so special? The small group sessions (usually 1–10 people), the trainers (who are basically human form policing cheerleaders), and the community vibe that’s more “fun hangout” than “fitness bootcamp.” The trainers watch you, adjusting form, customizing moves, and making you feel like you’ve got a personal coach without the celebrity price tag.

And the people? So welcoming and encouraging that you forget you're working out. (Almost.)

In just a few months, I’ve lost body fat, gained muscle, and even found myself looking forward to workouts. WHO AM I?

So whether you’re a gym junkie or someone who just wants to not hate exercise, I highly recommend Bent On Better. It's not just a gym, it’s a game changer. Come for the gains, stay for the people. You won’t regret it (even if your muscles complain a little the next day).

I started my journey with Bent On Better over 2 years ago and I couldn’t be more grateful for what it has done for me. I was in a really bad place, both physically and emotionally as a result of the COVID lockdowns. My husband watched me struggle and was so great and researched options to help get me “going”. He drove me over to the BOB gym and we walked in and we met by two very friendly ladies (Cass and Molly) and they chatted with us a bit about the gym. I’m not a fan of the big box gyms, and the small group focused training sessions where you get individualized attention really sounded like something that would work for me. A day or two later I went back and met with Matt April (co-owner and one of the awesome instructors). With tears in my eyes after him intently listening to my story, and assuring me this would be a good thing for me, I signed up and have been here ever since. I truly believe it saved my life. I was in a really bad place with all the COVID craziness. This place, the very caring and very knowledgeable trainers, and the wonderful friends I’ve made here, really helped turn that around…and I couldn’t be more grateful. Joining Bent On Better has completely changed my life! I’ve been consistently attending for a year now, and at age 57, I can honestly say I feel stronger than I did in my younger years. I’ve gained 7 lbs of muscle, dropped 11% body fat, and eliminated many of the chronic health issues I used to deal with (which was a lot). My whole body feels more stable, my balance has improved, and everyday tasks are so much easier.

Nick, my trainer, is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. Anytime I have an injury or physical issue, he modifies the workouts so I can keep showing up and training safely. This individualized attention has made a huge difference for me. Plus he makes things fun! The rest of the team is amazing as well!

I've been a member at Bent on Better (BoB) for ~6 consecutive months now, and I can honestly say that this is the place that works best for my mental and physical health. The programs vary every month and always feel like a challenge. That said, on days where I just don't have "it" (or am feeling particularly tight/sore/etc.) the trainers are more than willing and able to adapt a workout for that day to get me back to 100%. I joined B.O.B seven months ago (at age 73) and it has been a life-changing experience. I reached a point where age, weight, lack of core and balance were not getting better. After reading the B.O.B. Facebook offer to give them a try, I mustered up enough courage to go for their two-week trial. Not kidding, felt like a bus hit me after the initial visit and work out — proving how badly I needed this. But I went back for the second class and made it through!

This was a new exercise experience - small class size with people of all ages, strengths and abilities working side by side - personal coaching (excellent coaches) every step of the way, if only to make a 1” adjustment.

There is great camaraderie among members - they are supportive and share in your victories. Exercises are modified based on your abilities, and I’ve been able to progress with no pain.

For years, my doctor has been preaching weight-bearing exercise, so the real victory was my annual physical in March when he said I had reduced by stroke/heart attack risk by 20% (six months, three times a week at B.O.B).

I highly recommend this gym to anyone intimidated by other gyms. It will change your life both physically and mentally.

My experience with BOB has changed my life. Seriously! Prior to joining, I was working 13-14 hour days during the week (still am) and I would wake up early in the morning and my entire body would ache. I felt so tired and lethargic that I almost didn't want to get out of bed. I would come home from work and do little in the way of activities. I would tie my shoes in the morning, and just by doing that, I would throw out my back for days. Going to the gym or working out was not something on the top of my list of things to do in the little spare time that I had. In December 2023, I decided (actually my wife did) I needed to make a change. That is when I joined BOB. Between the daily programs that they put together, the smallish class size and the encouragement given to each individual, I am now able to tie my shoes without throwing my back out! In all seriousness, after one year of being at BOB, I am a different person health-wise. In the morning, I don't feel like I can't get out of bed, I have some more energy now and my body feels stronger, especially my back. I haven't had a back issue in months. On top of the amazing daily programs, the entire Staff at BOB has created a family style atmosphere. Between contests, weekly/monthly events and someone reaching out to check on you on occasion, BOB is really a special place. So for all of you that are like me and think you don't have the time to take care of yourself, are nervous about what to expect, or embarrassed because of what you haven't done for yourself, health-wise, you need to reach out to the amazing people at BOB.

I’ve been going to Bent On Better for a few months after checking out other area trainers/gyms. I decided to go with B.O.B. for a number of reasons. The space is a lot more intimate than the other gyms I looked at, so less distractions which is important to me. The classes are deliberately kept small so the trainers can focus on you, and the trainers are ALL enthusiastic, encouraging snd extremely knowledgeable about physical fitness and training. I have lower back and knee issues and I credit the B.O.B. trainers with keeping me injury free for going on 3 months. I am a 48-year-old woman with 2 young children, who has always been active. I began to have problems with my feet early in my 40’s with plantar fasciitis. Around age 45, I noticed that my joints were starting to hurt and I was becoming more susceptible to injury. With the onset of menopause, my symptoms just continued to get worse. It got so bad that, although I could still walk & hike, I was no longer able to run after my kids. They started referring to my ankles & feet as “mom’s bad feet”. I knew the if I didn’t do something, things would just get worse and there was a good chance I wouldn’t be walking without assistance in 10 years. I began with speaking with my doctor to rule out any underlying conditions and started to see a nutritionist who highly recommended Bent on Better to add strength training. When I first limped into BOB I had 2 sprained ankles and a recent history of 2 knee sprains. I was so nervous about hurting myself further but I signed up for a (3) month membership. In just three months, my ankles & knees have healed, I have lost weight and become much more physically fit overall, but the best part is I CAN NOW RUN AFTER MY KIDS! BOB is the best decision that I made for my physical health. I am building back the muscles in my feet, ankles and knees. I am stronger than I have ever been. It is a big commitment, for me and for my family, but it is completely worth it. All the trainers and staff at BOB are amazing! I don't normally write reviews, but I felt I had to in this case... I joined Bent on Better about 3 months ago. It's been the best decision I've made in years.

If you're reading this review, you probably are thinking some of the same things I did when researching gyms/classes - "...it's time for a change, but I don't know what to do, I haven't exercised in years how do I get started, I'm not 18 anymore and a couple of concussions and/or broken bones later how do I make this work?.." Well, let me tell you right now - this team will make it work. They are amazing. They make exercise fun - for everyone! They find workarounds for exercises that are problematic (bad shoulder, do this, vertigo, do that, etc.), they know when to push and when to pull back. Zero judgment from the members or trainers (you know how valuable this is if you've been to large gym anytime in the last ten years and are over 30 and not in the best shape) and zero pressure. It's wonderful to be in a class but not feel like you are "less" b/c you can't do the heavy lifts or advanced exercises. You will find people just like you - regardless as to your fitness level.

Finally, they give back to the community. Whether it's through their Better Sweat Foundation or group activities like Earth Day cleanup. It's nice to support a local business that is giving back to the community.

After 20+ years I love exercising again. Thank you Bent on Better!

I have nothing but positive things to say about the Bent on Better team! I had been lifting for ~7 years on my own before discovering BoB. I was almost exclusively self-taught and followed a predominately bodybuilding-style of training. When I came to BoB, Nick was amazing in helping me fine-tune my form and even aid in my nutrition to make sure I was progressing towards my goals. Everyone was so helpful, and I was always able to have my questions answered (whether in class or through direct coach messaging in their app!) I'd give 6 stars to Bent on Better! I've been a member since 11/2021. I've worked out consistently my entire adult life and I love lifting weights. I joined their fat loss challenge in January. I'm confident lifting weights but knew my diet was trash. The challenge included a meal plan tailored to me. Suggested calories, protein, carbs and fat were in the plan. I tried some new recipes, cut out the trash and kept lifting weights. To my surprise I was the female winner. In addition to the a good exercise program the trainers are amazing. The class size allows the trainers to meet the member wherever they may be in their fitness journey and modify any exercise as needed.

I started at Bent on Better a year ago after already losing 40 lbs on my own with just dieting and had reached a point in my journey where my dr and I felt it was time to incorporate physical fitness. Being as I absolutely DESPISED gyms and any form of workouts I knew I was going to hate every minute of this. But then I met Matt and his awesome team of trainers and my whole viewpoint changed. They worked with me to get through all of my physical limitations (and there were many) as well as my mental blocks of "I can't do this" or "I'll never be able to do that" and showed me through patience and gentle persistence that I could and I did and have lost an additional 13 lbs of body fat - which I would NEVER have been able to do on my own. I went from vowing to only go once a week to then going twice a week and now going the maximum of three days a week and absolutely love it. I even found that I now have an absolute LOVE for weightlifting and actually get goosebumps when I walk through those doors at 6:30 am and see the trap bars set up!! I have met a great group of friends in my workout group (Shout Out to the 6:30 crew) and they are all so encouraging and supportive as well. You will never find another gym or trainers or members as supportive or welcoming as you do at Bent on Better. Making the choice to join the B.O.B family was one of the best decisions I have ever made!!

I joined BOB in November 2020. Dealing with a shoulder injury at the time, Matt, Alysha and Nick made sure to modify the workouts specifically for my needs. They then went above and beyond to check-in with me post-workouts to make sure I felt ok. Now the shoulder is healed and I continue to ENJOY working out with BOB! March 2024 Update:
Just completed a 6-week fat loss challenge at B.O.B. I successfully achieved a 22% reduction in body fat thanks to the guidance of the B.O.B. trainers and the competition!! Prior to the challenge I knew I wanted to loss some weight, but Matt April helped put that into perspective, "do you want to lose weight or lose fat?". Fairly obvious choice! The B.O.B. trainers put together a target calorie and meal plan down to the amount of proteins/carbs/fats per day. It was up to me to follow through on that plan, utilizing a meal tracking app. I was also upon me to be consistent in the gym. I maintained an average of 4x per week on strength training at the gym. At the end of the 6 weeks, not only did I lose the fat percentage, I also gained muscle mass! Sincerely appreciate all the support of this B.O.B. FAMILY!!

I’ve been going to Bent on Better for over a year now. I was a former college athlete and competitive powerlifter who stopped working out regularly for 10 years before joining Bent on Better. As someone who always had a program to follow, I struggled creating a program on my own. I had many starts and stops during my 10-year hiatus and hurt my back while trying to get back into shape. I swore I would never squat again due to multiple knee injuries during my football career. The team at Bent on Better helped me rebuild my technique, strengthen my core, and learn new movements. My husband and I joined Bent of Better in April. Since we both have back issues, we thought it might be a good way to become more active and improve our health and fitness. It certainly was a great decision! The personal attention from the small group classes and trainers has been so beneficial. Our trainers, Cass and Molly, have been extremely helpful with our fitness goals and pain issues. They continuously adjust and revise our exercises to create a painless workout. After 6 months of workouts three times a week, my husband has lost over 30 pounds, and he has become stronger and more flexible. I have lost 10 pounds, and I have also become stronger. Bent On Better (BOB) is an awesome fitness center. I joined in January and consistently attend all my sessions, thanks to my great coaches Cass and Molly. Both of them have a great personality and keeps things lively from the music to encouraging remarks during a workout. The coaches design special ways for me to train when I have mobility issues, muscle or nerve pain. The special training gets me back to full workouts pain free. I continue to lose body fat and build muscle. Thanks to Matt (owner) I began a more nutritional way of eating that contributes to my overall health. I’m most proudest of my strength building. Best gym ever! Best people ever! This is a gym that wants you to succeed and makes the experience fun. Everyone from the coaches to members are so friendly, welcoming, and encouraging. I have always been an active person but focused more on cardio. Anytime I went to a gym or tried an at home program, I lost interest fast, stopped from lack of accountability, or just didn't know what to do. I love that at BOB, they do the thinking for you and your job is just to show up. This is so much more than a gym. From the first meeting with Matt, my eval with Molly, and the small group training sessions with all of the amazing staff, my whole experience has been life changing! I joined two months ago and have felt like part of the family ever since. Matt, Lynn, Cass, Nick and Molly are all so knowledgeable and really support your personal health journey. I have suffered with chronic pain for years and had settled into the idea that this was my reality, when the functional medicine doctor/nutrition coach I was seeing suggested I give Bent on Better a try. I never was one to "go workout at a gym". The only thing I tried at one point was kickboxing which proved to be a bit too intense for someone like me! This experience has been so different and all of the trainers have helped me ease into the idea of stretching to increase flexibility, working with weights to feel stronger and strengthening my core to help alleviate lower back pain and improve balance.
Since joining 2 months ago, I have noticed a difference when picking up things that would have felt too heavy in the past- plus my confidence has grown so much. I definitely feel more empowered! The chronic foot pain I have been dealing with for 10 years has improved and I am hopeful that it will continue to improve. All of the trainers are great at quickly giving you alternatives if any of the planned exercises cause you pain or are difficult due to any physical issues you may have. The individual attention you receive in the group sessions really helps customize the workouts to your needs.
On top of all that, they even help you with nutrition. They can share recipes with you on their APP. Plus, there are many fun events that take place right at the gym that you can choose to attend.
Everyone at Bent on Better is super supportive and you feel like part of their family when you walk through the door!

A month ago, I reached out to Bent on Better owner, Matt April, because at age 52 I needed a change! The things that had worked for me in the past just weren't giving me the results I wanted anymore. In only a month, I lost 2 pounds of body fat, my clothes fit better, I feel better, and have more energy and confidence. When Matt and I first met to discuss my goals, my first impression of the gym was what a friendly and welcoming place it was. All of the trainers are knowledgable, attentive to your needs and are always helping you to improve your form and make progress. Although the sessions are small group, it is tailored to your needs. Exercises can be modified based on your level of fitness and experience. If you are having a specific area of need, the trainers will provide alternate exercises to work on. Outside of the gym, I have reached out with questions and have always received quick and thorough replies. Sessions can be scheduled through an app. If I can't make it to the gym, there is an option to join for a virtual session. When I want to get an extra workout in, I can track my progress on the app with the any of the daily workouts. Aside from the great workouts, I have appreciated the one-on-one time I have had with trainer Molly to go over things I'm struggling with in fitness and how to overcome those challenges.
Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say! They go above and beyond to make your experience fun and also make sure you're hitting your goals. You are provided with all of the resources and support you need to make your fitness journey positive and successful!!

I’ve been a member of the Bent on Better community for a little over 3 years. I’ve never met a more compassionate and loving group of people. The building oozes kindness inside and out. From top to bottom. From coaches to the members. When I was looking for a place to workout I wanted a small space where I could find a little bit of solitude and not have the pressures and distractions of being smooshed inside a commercial facility. I wanted to be able to drown out the noise of a long day. As a former athlete I found my sport to be my outlet and being removed from that I needed somewhere that would push me the same way and encourage me to be better each and every day. As an athletic trainer I work with athletes on a daily basis, creating exercise programs and rehabilitating them back from an injury or working with them on preventing one. (And so much more) I am fairly familiar with the inside of a fitness facility and I wanted a place I could go and not have to make one more decision. Bent On Better met all of my above needs and beyond and gave me connection that I didn’t know I needed. No matter your experience they provide a comprehensive plan that meets your fitness abilities and goals. Bent On Better is more than a place to workout. I have been a member of Bent On Better (BOB) for almost a year and I’m already seeing great results. For starters, I feel much stronger and my muscle tone and endurance has greatly improved. However, the main reason I joined was to focus on strengthening my bones and avoid getting on medication for osteoporosis. For the past few years, every DEXA scan reflected weaker bone density numbers and I was definitely trending in the wrong direction. However, a recent scan showed my numbers not only stabilized, but in one area significantly improved. Although I have also made nutritional changes, I know the targeted exercises, knowledgeable coaches and BOB atmosphere greatly contributed to these positive results. I am sincerely grateful to the BOB team because for the first time in decades, I actually look forward to working out!

The first time I sat down with Matt, the owner, I told him I hated exercising--which had been true for over 50 years. Bent on Better absolutely changed that--and me. I've been there a little over two months. My original intention had been to go for three months, get myself to where I thought I could workout independently, and then switch to the Y. There's just NO way I can see that happening now. It's a super supportive environment--encouraging you to constantly improve while not pushy or ever negative. The trainers all know how to adapt movements for those of us with limitations--in my case, I have arthritis in my lower back and certain exercises are just not something I can do. Molly and Nick are quick to say "let's do this instead" so I don't hurt myself.

If you are reading these reviews, you are probably looking for a good place to change your life. Believe me, Bent on Better is that place. You will not regret coming here.

The coaches at Bent on Better are some of the best humans I know. I have never been a “gym person” and was in pretty mediocre shape when I started at Bent on Better in August of 2021. Their coaches modify the group class workouts for whatever level you’re at (or injury you may be nursing), and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I progressed. Matt also provides 1:1 nutritional coaching; a few small tips from him have completely changed the way I eat- and they were SUPER easy adjustments to make. The community at Bent on Better is truly something special! I now genuinely enjoy my time at the gym- something I never thought I would say- and continue to see the benefits every day of my increased strength and mobility. I can't say enough amazing things about this fitness studio.
- The Training program/classes: They have 1 hour sessions scheduled daily at several times and are small group trainings (up to 12 people in person). At each class, the exercises change but there is always a focus on functional movements, good form, injury prevention, etc. This place is amazing for everyone, even if you are coming straight from the couch like me since you get personalized assistance and feedback from the coaches each class. The program/classes can be customized for you and your abilities and/or challenges/obstacles. The coaches and staff are AMAZING/INCREDIBLE and will help you with any questions and help ensure your success with each exercise and overall. The weekly nutrition coaching that is included with their membership is also amazing. The only reason why my membership is ending to this place is because I am moving over an hour away. If I could realistically stay a member at this place indefinitely, I would! Even if you are skeptical after reading this review, I would encourage you to set-up an intro session and tour with the owner, Matt, and check it out yourself!

From the moment you walk through the door, you feel like family at BOB. All of the members are extremely welcoming and the training staff is extraordinarily attentive. Before each session, the trainers demonstrate the various exercises for
the day and then walk around and ensure that all movements are being performed correctly and help with modifications, if needed. This was particularly important for me when I joined BOB since I was returning to the gym after some
time off due to spinal fusion surgery. They helped me build back the strength that I had lost due to inactivity and worked closely with me to get back to 100% mobility. I can't recommend Bent on Better enough and strongly encourage anyone that wants to join a gym for the first time or is just looking for a new spot to give BOB a try. They are very transparent during the initial call/meeting and

B.O.B. was just what I need.

I've been a member of a gym consistently for my entire adult life. But way too often my workout was dictated by walking into a crowded facility with 45 minutes to get something done and defaulting to whatever equipment was available. I was never into the classes because they weren't focused on what I wanted to accomplish, times were inconvenient, etc. Not effective.

At B.O.B. every workout is planned by a professional coach. I know they are safe, effective and the coaches are there to make sure I'm doing the moves right, to challenge me when appropriate, etc. I don't have to think of a workout, fight for equipment, worry whether I might hurt myself with incorrect form . . . I just show up and get a really good workout. I know that, next week, the workout will build on this week in a thoughtful progression. Effective. On top of the workouts, Matt, the owner, guides you on your diet - small sustainable changes. He makes it easy. Again, I don't have to figure it out - just follow the directions! I've been a member for a month and will certainly stay.

Other pluses - coaches are all very positive, great to be around. No drill sergeants. Other members are supportive and positive. It's a small membership base, so you get to know people and the coaches all get to know each member.

Alysha, Molly and Lynn truly care how you are doing and are always able to make a modification if needed. I recently completed my 100th workout with Bent on Better. I'm not one to post about working out, but up until I joined this gym (virtually), I also wasn't one to stick with an actual workout.

Things that have really changed for me.

1. Actually sticking with it. Having a live trainer and other people waiting for me makes a big difference, but also the staff is SO incredibly supportive and welcoming. Even the very first time I worked out with each trainer, they already knew who I was and any relevant history so they could help me make the best out of the class.

2. Improved strength. When I started, I was using 5lb dumbbells and dying after 5 squats. And don't even ask about lunges. Now I use adjustable dumbbells starting at 20lbs and can do dozens of squats and lunges. Hey it turns out I do have glute muscles after all.

3. I can now do actual pushups. Like way more than the three I might have managed before.

4. My constant lower back pain brought on by pregnancy and lugging around a small human is gone. Turns out movement is good for this. Who knew?

5. I'm actually enjoying this program. I'm not someone who has EVER enjoyed exercise. And when I did exercise, I used to just run. Doing a strength based program was not something I ever thought I'd do.

6. I'm trying to have a healthier body image now, so it's not my focus, but yeah I've lost weight, gotten trimmer and gone down a size or two.

I'm not an exercise evangelist. I'm not here to convince anyone to exercise if they don't want to. But, if you are looking for a change or feeling stuck or just curious, I cannot recommend Bent on Better enough. This is a small family run business, and they will truly make you feel part of the family and help you reach whatever goals you want.

I'm writing this review especially for others like me. The ones who have never had a good gym experience before. The ones who don't LIVE to work out ad certainly don't LOVE to work out.

I'm a virtual member. And from the very first meeting I had with my trainer (Lynn), this experience was different. I have never felt shamed. I have never felt pushed beyond my limit or ability. I have never felt that her goals were being placed on me.

I HAVE felt 100% supported. I have felt that I was challenged in a way that helps me grow. I have felt that my feelings were valid and taken completely into consideration with every class, program, exercise that I've been given.

I have found an inner strength that I honestly never knew I had.

I can now carry my kids without a second thought. I can now bring the laundry basket upstairs without my back killing me. I can catch my son coming off the slide at the pool and have a core strong enough that he doesn't knock me over. I can carry the full propane tank across the Home Depot parking lot even though the cashier warned me that "those are really heavy." Maybe those things aren't a big deal to some. But for someone like me who never enjoyed moving my body or using my body, I am suddenly looking forward to the next class to break the next personal record (big or small).

Lynn and the rest of the BOB team have always cheered me on, even through my whining and complaining. They have adjusted my program as needed based on my needs. They bring forth a knowledge base and professionalism that is second to none.

I would give BOB as many stars as I could. They have helped me become stronger, mentally and physically, despite the fact that I still don't LOVE working out. :)

My 15 year old son had a great experience at Bent on Better for his offseason baseball training. The trainers are awesome and really connected with the kids, changing the workouts up, keeping it fun and making sure everyone learned proper form to get stronger and faster without injuries. I joined BOB in Oct 2020 at 7 weeks postpartum not knowing where to begin with exercising. I had never previously joined a gym and had no idea what to expect except that I wanted to feel healthy again and hopefully lose some weight along the way. I started in the Women’s Pre/Postpartum class under the instruction of Lynn who guided me & helped me ease my way back into fitness. She adapted exercises for me and showed me how to properly do all different movements without causing myself any injury. After attending these classes and feeling SO much better, I moved on to take some of the regular classes with Nick & Alysha along with the Lynn’s women’s class. My focus slowly turned to STRENGTH!!! Not only have I lost baby weight and body fat in the process but I am hopefully gaining muscle! I feel mentally and physically like a new person! I’ve never been so focused on my health and wellness as I am today and I have the amazing coaches at BOB to thank for that! They make working out fun & for once in my life I actually enjoy exercise!!!! So glad I made the decision to take a chance with BOB!!!

My 12 year old son started athletic training with Bent on Better to help improve his game of hockey. He has gained SO much more than just speed and agility. His confidence is through the roof which in turn has improved his hockey playing. As each training session has ended, he has asked to join the upcoming session.

I cannot say enough about the Bent on Better team! They are energetic, positive, kind, caring, fun, flexible (I could go on and on) and go above and beyond. After a debilitating back injury back in June of 2019, I never thought I would be able to work out again. I severely herniated L5, S1 and have had nerve pain/damage which at times leaves me unable to get out of bed or stand up straight. I had 3 unsuccessful epidural injections, 6 months of physical therapy, and a chiropractor who basically charged me to wait over an hour for him to do nothing.

I knew of B.O.B. through my husband and I’s mutual friend, who is married to one of the trainers, Nick. She encouraged me to reach out in January of 2020 and it’s been such an amazing experience so far.

I came to B.O.B. with a decent knowledge of exercise and certain moves, but the knowledge that Nick and Matt have been able to provide for me is second to none. I am able to lift/move pain free, and when I’m having a flare up with my nerve, Nick is able to provide me with a modification in our training sessions. I have felt myself become stronger and more confident over these last few months, and am down almost 10 pounds. I am not from the area, so I utilize the virtual workouts, so it just goes to show you that you can be successful at home working out without the fancy equipment if you’ve got the right people on your side!

I feel like I’ve finally found a place where not only am I working hard and moving properly, but I’m having fun at the same time. I cannot thank Nick, Matt, Alysha, and Lynn enough for the resources, knowledge, and FUN they provide!

Bent on Better is everything fitness should be. First of all, I live 3 hours away from the physical gym, but I’ve joined as a virtual member! The virtual group fitness is practically as good as being there in person - the trainers check in with me, correct form as needed, and demonstrate movements. They can quickly modify any exercise to match the equipment I have on hand or to better match my abilities. And the best part is that Matt, Lynn, Alysha, and Nick are such warm and encouraging people. There’s no intimidation, no feeling self-conscious, just people who are excited to help everyone reach their fitness goals.

I’m not an exercise lover and I loathe the gym. This is different. Even virtually, I can tell that the environment is one full of support, encouragement, laughter, smiles, and fun! I even get up at 5:00am for my group workouts, so you know it’s a great experience. I’m really glad that I can be a part of it from afar!

If I had to choose a word for the Bent on Better Moms program, it would be ‘transformative’. I started working with Lynn in early August when I was about 20 weeks pregnant. After our initial phone conversation, I excitedly signed up for the program upon hearing how knowledgeable and passionate Lynn was…and I am glad I did because signing up for the program was one of the best decisions I made this year! With everything going on in the world along with being pregnant during a pandemic, I knew my mind would constantly be moving if my body was still, so physical movement was much needed for my mental health. Lynn’s energy was unmatched! She was passionate about my personal growth and cared about me as an individual and mommy-to-be. The routines were tailored to my needs and Lynn was attentive, accessible, and resourceful.

Lastly, I do not usually comment on a company’s culture, but I feel like being aware of a company's morals and beliefs is very important; especially given the current climate. Lynn and the rest of the Bent on Better staff have created an embracing atmosphere and diverse environment that makes you feel like you are part of a family as soon as you join! This is the type of organization you want to be a part of. An organization that values people…ALL types of people. I could go on and on about Lynn and the Bent on Better Moms program, but just know that this program transformed my prenatal journey and I have no doubt it can do the same for you. As a whole, B.O.B. meets you where you are! I am already look forward re-joining the B.O.B family and working with Lynn for my postnatal fitness journey <3

Today was my 2nd time at Bent on Better and it was just as awesome as the first time! The energy at BOB is unmatched!! I heard many great things about BOB before stopping by and the experience was ten times better than I expected. After my third child was born, I was diagnosed with diastasis recti. Even though working out isn’t new to me, I suddenly found myself terrified to use my body in fear of making it worse or seriously injuring myself and I did the worst thing a person could do – consulted Dr Google. The list of exercises that you should or shouldn’t do was so contradicting, I was completely overwhelmed and lost on how to proceed. Enter Lynn. Lynn spent time understanding what was important to me and specifically what I hoped to achieve through our work. Then she individually tailored a program for me. Even though I chose to workout on my own, Lynn was always available for questions and would check in frequently to provide encouragement and support. This is the best gym experience I have ever had! The trainers really take the time to listen to you and modify the program to suit each individuals’ needs. I've joined a lot of gyms over the years and never had the motivation to "do it alone" for very long. Bent on Better is different. It is not crossfit, it is not your typical group classes, it is more like a bunch of friends working out together with a personal trainer there to help you, motivate you and make sure you are doing a proper and effective workout. Best decision I’ve made this year!!
I am 58 years old, and overweight. I had been working on my weight loss for 2 years loosing approximately 80 pounds. But I still had quite a bit more to loose . My weight loss was pretty much at a standstill. I knew I needed to add exercise to my effort. I was horrified! I had never really done anything like this before. I called Matt told him my journey. My big concern was feeling intimidated and out of place. He assured me they had a very diverse group and I should come see for myself. Thank goodness I made that call. The members are so inviting, helpful and nonjudgmental. I can’t even begin to express the professionalism, patience and amazing people the trainers are. They have worked with me from day one. I had some knee pain and discomfort which they helped me overcome with modification and teaching proper form. I can honestly say 3 months later, I workout pain free, feel so much stronger and feel I learn something new every time I am there.

The hardest part is showing up! After 4 months I have lost 20 lbs and looking forward to another 20. Also for the kids the athletic training is FANTASTIC! In a few short weeks it improved my daughters batting and pitching. But most importantly it helped her recover from a injury 3x faster.

I can't say enough about Bent on Better. I started in January 2018 and one year later, I can't believe how strong I've become. I also can't believe the person I've become in just one year: not only have a grown to love weight training and challenging myself but I now make exercise a priority in my life!

I was always so intimated to join a gym. I felt uncomfortable and wouldn't know what to do. I also struggled with scar tissue and nerve damage from open-heart surgery and two thoracic surgeries when I was younger. I needed to find a place that was encouraging, supportive, and FUN! Group personal training and B.O.B. was exactly what I needed. From day one I have always felt a part of this sincere and welcoming community but even more importantly I felt like I wasn't going to hurt myself. The trainers Matt, Alysha, and Nick are so knowledgeable and supportive I couldn't imagine going anywhere else! Whether it's something personal they know you're going through, a tough workout you feel like you can't push through, or making sure your form is perfect for that heavier weight you're trying- the trainers are right there with you.

Bent on Better is the place to be, it is another family! I paid for memberships at gyms and would go and never knew what I should be doing or how to do half of the things I should have been doing to help lose weight and tone my muscles. I ended up finding out about Bent on Better when my dad joined and I watched him get into shape sooo fast and in the blink of an eye my whole family became part of the gym, which is more like becoming a part of the gym family! This gym was exactly what I needed, a place with different workouts each day and a trainer there to direct me in how to properly do things and motivate me while always being proactive and fun! If anything ever hurts or feels funny, the trainers correct my positioning or give me a different exercise to target the same areas. I found myself so motivated to go as much as possible instead of looking at it as a chore each day. I felt horrible about how I looked and scheduled a meeting with Matt and he took his time to help me set goals and help me start a plan for my workouts and nutrition. I found I lost 7 pounds of body fat just after the first week of following my new plan! Now a month after my plan and sticking to it, I have dropped in pants sizes and several people have commented on my weight loss. I could not do anything without this amazing gym and the amazing trainers that everyday motivate you and make working out so much fun! This is hands down the best gym around! Throughout my life I have gym hopped, even buying 1 or 2 year memberships and never continuing more than a couple of months. Having had emergency back surgery in Jan. 2015, I didn't even know I would be able to work out at all ever again. I just completed my first year here, and passed 100 visits over a month ago. When I sat down with Matt the owner as well as one of the trainers, a year ago and feeling his enthusiasm along with his knowledge I felt like this was different then all the other gyms I have been a member of. However, I still just did a month to month not wanting to do a long term commitment knowing myself. Only 3 months later, I bought a one year membership. Along with Matt, the other two trainers Nick and Alysha are great. Always encouraging, and always willing to find a modification for a workout for you if you need it. All of the other members are great, I have truly made some real friends here. Every day is like hanging out with a group of friends and one is just leading everyone else in a great workout!

I cannot express how much I enjoy the improvements I have experienced both mentally and physically in myself since joining Bent on Better. I have been a member for over 7 months now. In that time I have lost over 30 pounds, gone done three sizes, and continue to experience a more physically toned and healthier body.

I have now discovered I’m creating more ways to get all the grocery bags to fit onto my hands and arms because I can now lift them instead of making numerous trips carrying only a couple bags at a time.

I first walked into the doors on Bent on Better in November 2017. The most recent time I walked into the doors was this morning in March 2019. I’ve clocked in over 250 classes with this gym and at the age of almost 68 I feel physically and mentally better than I have in many many years. Bent on Better offers an opportunity for all adults to find a level of activity that is just for them.

If you were a skeptic and read these reviews, you would think Bent On Better must pay top dollar to have a company write these wondrous reviews. I did, until I attended my first workout session. Now I am not skeptical anymore. There is a team spirit and support system in these trainers, each unique, talented, professional and helpful. No matter your fitness situation or history, you can rest assured there is a place for you here. I drive 10 miles for an early morning workout and these days I wake up before my alarm and can’t wait to arrive. That is unheard of!! I have worked out all my life being an athlete through college and I have always believed in pushing myself to the limit. No pain, no gain, right? Well as I have gotten older I do feel aches and pains and have realized I do have limits. After moving to the West Chester area I wanted to join a gym, not only to train, but to meet people. I have gym hopped because I didn't quite find my "fit." Through some dear friends, I was told to check out Bent on Better, so I met with Matt. After an in depth conversation I had that gut feeling, and I knew I had found my gym. No matter what class I attend, I meet new people and have developed lasting friendships. The support from all members and trainers is insurmountable.

The trainers are a unique group of individuals who genuinely cares about each and every member in and out of the gym. Matt, who is the owner, always has your back not only in the gym but outside of it as well. He has so much energy, it is hard to come to Bent on Better without smiling and wanting to give it your all. He watches your form, shares new information as he is a life long learner, is your accountability coach and truly listens to his members. Alysha is always a breath of fresh air. She is incredibly insightful when it comes to the members. She knows when you've had a bad day and will come up and give you a hug, because she knows you need it. She motivates you to push harder, yet understands when you have limits. Recently, I have had the pleasure of working with Nick as a coach. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the body and has been a wealth of information with healing my injury. Nick has modifications for exercises beyond your imagination where you feel the burn and not the pain.

So, as a 51 year old female who wants to stay fit and athletic, who struggles with not being able to do what I used to, has found my "home" gym that's just right for me. Thank you to all of the members for being so welcoming and encouraging and thank you to the coaches who are, simply, part of my new family.

Update: Matt and I met and discussed "changing things up" a bit with my workout and eating plan. in a 3 month time frame my amount of water went up 2 pounds, my dry lean mass went up 1 pound, my body fat mass went down 6.7 pounds and my weight went down 4 pounds. Lesson learned- make sure you are at a gym where the trainers/owner takes time to meet and discuss a plan for YOU not just for everyone. Prior to Bent of Better, I would have never been prompted to change and thank goodness I did!

I just celebrated my one year anniversary at Bent on Better! Matt April is an amazing coach/trainer! He’s so incredibly energetic, knowledgeable, and friendly! He fosters a family atmosphere and it shows. The members are amazing, encouraging people.
He will modify the workouts for you if there is a need.
He will push you to do your personal best!
I love my work outs and feel so energized afterwards.
Matt’s gym is his pride and joy and it shows in how he takes care of his facility.

You won't find a better personal trainer then Matt April. He is not only extremely knowledgeable, but motivating, kind, supportive, enthusiastic, and 100% positive. I have been working with Matt for over a year. I began seeing him for a shoulder injury and from the moment we met I felt like we picked up right where the physical therapist and I left off. Matt has pushed me further then I would have ever pushed myself, but in a safe and realistic way. When he says "I've got your back" it's true. His gym provides a means for me to reach new goals each week in a fun and energetic atmosphere. All of the members are great! I have never met a nicer group of people. If you are considering becoming a member of Bent on Better, do it. It will be one of the best decisions you'll ever make.

I have been with Matt and Bent on Better for about a year. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Matt for what he has done for me so far. I used to dread going to the gym and would stay about 20 minutes doing a few crunches and call it a day. However, every since jointing the Bent on Better family I now work out at least 4x a week, and push myself harder and harder each day and that is all thanks to Matt.

When I am at Bent on Better it does not feel like a work out, I look forward to going because everyone there is now a part of my "family". We support each other in the gym and outside, vent about struggle and applaud each other's successes. With my anxiety I can be filled with stress easily, and Bent on Better is an outlet that I look forward to, I let go of my stress through my interactions with Matt and other members as well as put my focus on my workout. Matt is always upbeat no matter the day and will always try to make you laugh even in your worst day! Since joining Matt has pushed me to limits I never thought I could do, I see my progress not only in the mirror but through daily routines. Matt is not only a coach for one hour a day, he encourages you to contact him when you are struggling or even have a question, whether it's how to make your body heal after a workout or what is the healthiest snacks to help curb a craving. He supports you any hour of any day.

Before Bent on Better I thought having a coach/trainer would consist of someone working me to the point of passing out, yelling at me to do better and make me do things my body just couldn't handle, but with Matt that is never the case.Matt will push you to where he thinks you and your body are ready to go, but he always reminds us that we need to always listen to our body and what it tells us. Therefore, if something causes pain or doesn't feel right he always finds a modification to fit your need. Matt is an amazing coach and Bent on Better has helped me grow in so many ways and I do not know where I would be with out my B.O.B. Family and Matt!

I have been at Bent on Better (BOB) for a year and I have nothing but great things to say about it. Within the past year I have seen growth not only in strength and weight loss but confidence and attitude as well. The owner/trainer Matt is beyond supportive and encouraging and really has a deep knowledge of what he does. If something you are doing doesn't feel right or something is hurting you, he encourages you to let him know right away and will have you do something else so it doesn't cause any issues and lead to a problem long term. He also makes sure that the exercises you are doing are done correctly so you don't hurt yourself and are maximizing the time spent there. To say that he cares for your well being would be an understatement. Matt is always very upbeat and energetic which helps get me through the workout if I come in tired or sluggish from the day. Another one of the great things about BOB is that it is a mixture of working out in a group and on your own and with either one you are not pressured to do or move up to a weight that you are not comfortable with or not ready for. The facility is excellent and did I mention that all of the people that workout there are the best and are friendly as can be. After a long day at work, I do not dread going like I have with working out in the past because when I go I know the people that are there are great to be around and I know Matt will be supportive and encouraging and wants us to succeed and grow just as much as we do. It truly does feel like a family atmosphere. Once you talk to Matt whether it be on the phone or in person, I'm confident that you will immediately get a sense of comfortability as I did and it truly is genuine. I can't wait to continue growing with BOB mentally and physically over the coming years. I highly suggest giving Bent on Better a try, you won't regret it.

I joined BOB just about 10 weeks back in a desperate attempt to look better and boost my self esteem . It didnt take longer than 2 weeks for me to realise that I just won the gym lottery ! I got more than what I asked for ! I got a whole family encouraging me every single day ! Matt April is not just "a" coach . He is THE coach who can bring that kind of transformation in a person . He is living proof of fitness =1% perspiration + 99% inspiration !
His fitness classes are unique because it suites individual needs. The best part about this gym is everyone works out with a smile on and not earphones glued to their ears !

I joined Bent on Better in March. I thought maybe I'll last a month tops. Here it's been 6 months and it's one of the best decisions I made. Ive seen positive changes in my body and the way I feel. I'm doing push ups and sit ups that I never before thought I could do. Now I even enjoy doing side planks. When I first started, I was going 2-3 days a week now I do my best to go 5 days a week.
Matt is an extremely knowledgeable trainer who also happens to be caring and very encouraging. He always gives you the credit you deserve. Not only is Matt supportive but all the others that I have been taking class with are as well. We are like a well oiled family. It's that hour a day that I look forward to.

I initially started my journey with bent on better because I wanted my aunt to stop harassing me about it LOL.... but boy am I so glad she wouldn't stop nagging me! Matt is seriously not only incredibly knowledgeable about health and nutrition, but he makes time to get to know his clients in order to provide the BEST program to suit their needs! I started at the end of July feeling really terrible about my weight and self esteem in general. Since working with Matt I'm starting to feel like my old self! I'm so glad I found bent on better and I can't wait to continue to work on and achieve my health and fitness goals! Since working with Bent On Better, I've lost over 20lbs and am in better shape than I was in high school, when I was doing doing sports. Matt has helped me every step of the way from answer questions, to helping with my diet, teaching and adjusting exercises, and showing me tools/resources with additional information.
