I joined BODY20 when it initially opened and have been working out six times a month for 14 months. I have seen remarkable changes in both my body and mind. I am stronger than ever before, lost weight, dropped two sizes and just feel fantastic! I absolutely LOVE the one-on-one, 20 minute training sessions (especially my workouts with Seth and Angel)! The trainers are equally invested with our progress, are super encouraging and celebrate our journey every step of the way! The workouts are different each visit and work every muscle. I look forward to my workouts every time! The entire staff is amazing! The owners are onsite often, extremely personable, know their members and truly enjoy watching us get healthier!! It was a slow start for me before I started seeing results but after the initial four months I have seen continuous results. I absolutely love BODY20 and highly recommend it!

Simply the best place for 1-1 training and for anyone with a limited time for training that is looking for a very efficient and productive use of a 20 minute workout. Great concept with well thought and balanced workouts. The new bodysuits are a must try with such an improved agility and increased intensity. But what makes it an even more inspiring experience are the people attending to your workouts, standing by, challenging and encouraging you all along. I have been doing 1 strength training session per week for 9 months now, and the results Body20 has delivered are phenomenal. During this time, my percentage body fat has dropped by 1.6 percentage points. Muscles are visible in my arms and abs for the first time in my life.
My motivation for joining was not actually to look better, though. I was already enjoying 30-60 minutes per day of HIIT, pushups, yoga, or running, so I was feeling good and was at a healthy body weight. As a woman over age 50 though, I knew that I had to do more strength training to maintain bone health. I was skeptical that 20 minutes of Electro Muscular Stimulation (EMS) would be effective to build muscle, but it is. Plus, I really enjoy being at the studio with the trainers, Jamie, Carol Ann, Angel, Melanie, and the owner Jen. They are knowledgeable, upbeat, and always make me feel welcome and appreciated.
We are so lucky to have a Body20 studio in our area. Friends that live in other towns have asked me my "secret" to staying in shape and are usually disappointed that there is no Body20 studio near them.

There is no reason to not to do this workout, whether it's your only or as a supplement to anything else you do.
I'm a busy working mom of two very busy boys. I'm also the type of person who needs to be held accountable and someone who needs a trainer that ensures my form is good and that I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing. You get a solid workout in a short period of time.
I started at a point where I needed to rebuild muscle and now I have muscles in places I haven't had muscles in a very long time. Still working on balancing my body - muscle v fat, etc. - but I've also stopped needing my doctor's as much - e.g.: my chiropractor, who I love dearly and wouldn't say a bad thing about; at Body20, I've been able to build-up my back muscles which has reduced my back pain significantly. Same with my right knee, where I have no MCL or ACL left. My PT advised to work on the muscles around the knee to maintain my stability. I shared that with the trainers and they work with me on all that and then some.
I honestly cannot believe how much better I've started to feel in a couple of short months. I only go once-a-week right now; having built up muscle, we're (hubs does this with me) feeling close to going up to twice a week. He also used to have shoulder pain that would keep him up at night and that's started to diminish too.
Really and truly, if you want to work out, but always make excuses, or need a trainer and know that will only add to a general membership, or any combo of those things, then Body20 is the place for you! You get a trainer and a solid workout in nice little package. In and out and on with your day. You really cannot deny adding this to your life!

I gave Body20 3 stars because the reason for joining was to save time - The selling point was you can get an hour's workout in 20 minutes due to the eletronic stim. I didn't find that to be the case.
TL:DR: My experience was different than some of the other reviews and here's my take: If you add body20 as an additional 20 minute workout, it may work, but if you use it to replace one of the hours you currently spend at the gym, it probably won't do you any good.
Long Review: Overall, the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and keep the facility very clean. They also want to help you have the best experience you can, so they respond to questions and do things in a very customer-service/friendly way. I have no complaints with any of that.
My experience is that I am someone whose body benefits from lifting heavier than what is offered at Body20 (more than 15lb curls) and doing HIIT cardio training.
I tried strength training at Body20 for 6 months to make sure I gave it a fair try. During that time, I had to "follow the program" and use resistance bands for the first 4+ months. I replaced one hour of heavy lifting with the Body20 strength training. I did ask if I could just skip to the weights, but I could not, I had to follow the program. I finally got to the weights about a month ago. And I determined that did not make a huge difference, as the weights are 15lbs or less, and any movement that requires you to lift above your head puts you back on the resistance bands. My stim numbers were extremely high, I took them to the point that I was close to frozen, so there was not any user error on my end (my Body20 trainer can attest to this).
The end result was a loss of 5% of my total muscle mass and an increase in body fat percentage/weight in 6 months. So I've stopped Body20 and started back up at the gym for that hour. I calculated this using a Renpho scale, which I've used for 4 years now. That scale is accurate to a point, and I highly recommend it for anyone who doesn't want an in-body machine in their home.
My takeaway is this: if you like to lift things up and put them down, maybe keep doing that and add this to your workout for a different experience (or skip Body20 entirely). But, in twenty minutes you are actively being stimulted and working out for 10 (it's 10 seconds on and 10 seconds off for the entire 20 minutes), and that may not be productive for certain body types.
IMO, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

I joined when they opened in September as a supplement to other strength training. My workouts are focused on strength, and I am so glad I joined! I've noticed a difference in this short time. I love that the training can be adapted to your needs/limitations and that you work one-on-one with a trainer. 20 minutes zooms by. All the trainers are great, but shout out to Jaime...he's terrific!

When I joined my goal was to build more muscle so I do strength training at Body20 once a week. After 8 weeks I gained 2.2 pounds of muscle and lost 4.3 pounds of fat while my total body weight was only .6 pounds less. It is a challenging workout but I see results. Total change in my body composition, everything fits better! Amazing results.
