I have been to many gyms and nothing compares to the workout I get at CKO! The instructors are high energy and no two classes are the same. I highly recommend CKO if you are looking for an alternative to boring cardio workouts at the gym.

I have been a member of CKO since 2017. It is a great group of instructors that keep you motivated and challenged to meet your goals. The classes are a fun way to get exercise in and stay healthy. I love that you can go at your own pace depending on your fitness level. Highly recommend!

I started doing kickboxing back up in November 2022, I was only doing 2-3 classes a week but I immediately started to notice my arms getting toned. I was surprised because I have joined so many workout groups prior to this including running a treadmill, weight training but the results were not as obvious as this. What I like about it is a good mix of cardio, resistance, toning and ab workout without necessarily lifting any weight. I have lost 5 inch of my waste, 2 inches from my hips, 10 ilbs of body fat and gained almost 8 ilbs of muscle. The key is to be patient with the classes and take the class seriously with the strikes when possible. I am now doing it 4 to 6 times a week. It's my medicine.

I can’t say enough about CKO yardley! I’ve lost 30 lbs in the last 6 months by taking kickboxing classes just 3 x a week! The workouts are great for all levels of fitness because the trainers make modification suggestions during the workout to ensure everyone is getting the most out of the workout! Before joining cko I was struggling with a lot of weakness in my core and back pain. Since joining I’ve been able to use the modified workout movements to strengthen my core. I no longer suffer with back pain and have been able to tone up and lose weight!

CKO Yardley is amazing. By “amazing”, I’m referring to the talented and truly genuine and kind staff, the variety of workout routines, the cleanliness of the facilities and the motivated spirit of the other participants.
Before CKO, I hadn’t gone to a group fitness class in 4 years. I’d had a really bad experience in a yoga class at a different gym, it left me in tears and feeling awful about myself.
A couple years ago I tried a CKO class with a friend…I left exhausted but exhilarated and wanted to come back. I loved the energy, the challenge, and the diversity of body type in the class: I felt immediately welcome and unintimidated.
It took me a couple years but I did eventually became a member and honestly…I am so grateful to CKO Yardley. I’ve gone through a very difficult time in my life recently. These workouts and the personal training I did for about 6 months, did more for me than the staff may ever realize. Emotionally and mentally - but also physically I was able to do the tasks I needed to with more strength than I’d ever had before.
Fitness is a kind of ministry and I’m so thankful for the welcoming environment and dedication of everyone on the staff!!!
If you’re considering giving CKO Yardley a try…you won’t regret it.

Everyone is super chill at CKO Yardley. The sense of community is evident the second you walk in the door. The instructors are knowledgeable and take the time to mentor us out of shape, middle-aged, newbies. You get a great workout with ZERO judgment from the staff and clients. It is so great there that I am going back despite the 30 minute drive.

Have you ever taken a group class that it felt like a private lesson? Yeap! That is how I feel when I go to CKO Yardley! The trainers are very knowledgeable, very attentive, the workout is always intense, and never boring. The only bad thing is that it's addictive!! I can't get enough of it. ! Hours are great! There's no excuse not to get in shape. No doubt, best place to workout.

I absolutely love CKO! I was looking for a change and something different. CKO is high energy and a great workout daily. The only thing I wish was they had 5 am classes Monday thru Friday and 6 am classes Saturday and Sunday. I have a busy schedule between work and kids it's hard to find free time. I would definitely recommend this gym to everyone!! After my first session I couldn't wait to the next one. Very addictive the staff is all wonderful and very welcoming. Even on my first day they made me feel like I was there a 100 times before. If you want a great workout CKO is the place to go!!

So I never do this but I feel like I should voice my opinion... My boyfriend and I joined CKO a few months ago. We had decided it was too expensive (we are full time college students) and thought it would be best to cancel. We called CKO and spoke with someone and they cancelled our memberships over the phone. We recieved an email saying our membership has been successfully cancelled. Today, I had received an email saying our membership has been reinstated because their office required them to have something in writing. I checked my bank account today and CKO decided to charge me for the month of April, when it's been a month of us already cancelled. I have proof it was cancelled and it stated "no further payments are required". It is not our fault because CKO staff members did not follow the proper procedure. It is crazy that they recharged our accounts even though our memberships were already CANCELLED. It's honestly so messed up. I will not stop until my money is reimbursed and my membership is cancelled.

I am just an average guy in his middle 40’s who USED TO be active many years ago and have since grown a bit of a belly due to what I thought was just age (…and some eating choices like downing ½ a container of chocolate chip cookies with my coffee in the morning).
I newly moved to Newtown after selling my house in Norristown and also found that I was sitting around a lot (OK, I tend to play video games in order to relax). Besides family, I knew NOBODY in this area; my wife and I would just tend to hang out and spend time with family.
Besides having some stubborn belly fat, I also thought I was at the stage of my life where meeting new people and potential friends was a LONG SHOT at best.
After receiving a flyer from CKO, my wife and I went to a nearby restaurant for our weekly date night and decided to stop by the CKO club. Due to the newness of the situation, I really had to push myself to enter the doors into this atmosphere, but was pleasantly taken aback by the friendly TEAM environment and activity!
That very night I signed up for a free trial class online from their very user-friendly website. After taking a couple classes, I decided within a week to commit to a one year package from their flexible options available. It has only been one month, but I already know this has been one of the best decisions I have made in a long time!!!
After one month, I have lost 11.5 lbs! More importantly, I know by joining this gym, I have surrounded myself with the right kind of people! I have met many nice people of very diverse age groups and together, we work to get through the intense workouts; these workouts are well-designed and have just the right elements of standardization (having the proper warm ups/cool downs and also the same duration, with each person having his or her own heavy bag for punching) mixed with variation (besides tweaks from one instructor from one workout to the next, there are also a number of DIFFERENT instructors who each bring their own expertise to design the particular workout he or she runs).
The owners and the staff are highly knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive. Each has his or her own specialty…there is even a current MMA fighter who teaches at the school! Classes are run in a very clean environment – the heavy bags and matted floors are constantly being cleaned and disinfected.
The heavy bag boxing workouts are intense and the outcome are positive results in confidence and body. The workouts are also a great stress release!!!
I could go on and on, but let me wrap this review up with a summary of two words for this gym: SPECIAL and COMMUNITY. The results are special; the attention you receive is special; the people you meet are special. That leads to community, which is what you feel you become a part of almost from the very start of your journey here. You owe it to yourself to drop by and take a free introductory class for you to see first-hand.

Before CKO, I made excuses. Who wants to exercise when you can go out to dinner with friends right? Two grad degrees, three job changes, moving from the city to the burbs and five dress sizes above my normal, life, unfortunately, caught up with me and I realized that I was miserable and out of shape.
Although I kept trying to talk myself into being ‘okay’ with things (its ok to be fat when you are middle aged and hormonal right?), I really knew I needed to do something. What that something was however, was beyond me. When you get to a point that you make so many excuses, and when you know you are out of shape, starting something—anything—is almost impossible.
During my morning bouts to grab coffee, I kept passing CKO kickboxing, wondering what it was all about. To be quite honest, I felt pretty guilty every morning walking right by the place as I knew I should be spending money on getting myself in shape so I felt better instead of drinking $5 worth of espresso.
As I peered in the windows on a daily basis for about 2 months, I became more and more enthralled with this type of workout. People were hitting and kicking bags, looking exhausted and sweaty, jumping up and down, but smiling and looking like they were actually having fun.
I thought to myself how much I would really like to do that. Unfortunately, being fat, and completely out of shape after 20 years of going to one too many dinner parties, I made more excuses. My brain kept saying to me ‘You’ll go when you lose weight’, ‘They will treat you like an outsider because you are a fat girl’, ‘You won’t be able to do it so why try’?
Then I made a decision.
One day, out of random delirium I think, I blew off the dust on my tennis shoes, put them on, and walked into CKO. Fat, ashamed of myself, and completely overwhelmed and intimidated, I was greeted with the friendliest smiles and openness by the staff at CKO (thanks Chris and Nicole)
After one of the most grueling hours of my life, that night I became a member of CKO.
I am not going to lie, after not working out for years, and not having good habits, the first month was tough. Once I got into the stride and habit of going however, I have to say CKO has changed my life. I have only been a member for about 3 months but I have already lost 15 pounds, and 3 dress sizes. More importantly, I feel like a totally different person. I look forward to going to CKO to work out, to see my instructors, and to engage with the other members as everyone is friendly and encouraging and really cares about each other.
The workouts changed every class and all the instructors are amazing. They focus on interval cardio training, and the workouts are focused to target your whole body. They are not easy for anyone, but you can go at your own pace if you haven’t reached your fitness goals. No one is pointed out because they are behind or out of shape…just the opposite. The class members all support each other and like I said above, each instructor really makes you feel welcomed and like you belong there.
Although everyone’s story is different, I know that if you try this place out, you will definitely not regret it. This place is amazing!

This place is AMAZING! I look forward to going every day. The staff is very friendly and makes everyone feel welcome. CKO is hands down the cleanest gym I have ever been member at. The workouts are a lot of fun and are constantly changing to keep you on your toes. The trainers help to encourage you and motivate you to push yourself. It's as if each workout is tailored specifically for you. The harder you push yourself, the harder it is, yet the workouts are accessible to people of any fitness level. I really love this class! Not only do I get a great workout, I also have a lot of fun doing it! All of the instructors are great! They are very encouraging, and always willing to help you to become better in your technique and meeting your fitness goals. At the same time also considering where you are as far as your fitness level. you're not expected to be a professional boxer, but you will be pushed to do your best! I like how there is a variety of age groups. They also have classes just for the kids. not only have I lost weight (13 lbs within 2 months), but I've also lost inches all parts of my body. I'd like to thank all the instructors for all your hard work and dedication in helping me to meet my fitness goals! This class is money well spent!

I love CKO! I had always gone to the gym 3-4 times per week but just felt like I wasn't getting anywhere. I've been going to CKO for two months and I already noticed a difference in my body. All of the instructors are great! The workouts are always intense and different so you never get bored! No matter what fitness level you are at, they adapt the workout to fit your needs. I had always liked doing zumba too but that workout is nothing compared to what I get at CKO. CKO is like a big extended family. I love going there every week!
