I was first introduced to Chris and his Clutch Performance & Fitness training group about a year ago. It’s been a great experience. Chris took the time to understand my current physical condition and what I wanted out of a training program. I wasn’t overweight. But until I got started, I didn’t realize just how out of shape I was! After many years in a professional job that provides no exercise (and lots of screen time), I needed go back to the basics first. Chris has carefully managed my training program over the past year, and he’s paid special attention to my lower back, arms and legs, as I attempt to play golf! As a golfer himself, he understands the rotations and strain that can be placed on various parts of the body. Chris has helped me work through, muscle pulls, strains, and other post-Golf aches, and pains – – including some encouraging conversations! I feel much better today, and I’m actually a better golfer. It’s not because of golf lessons. (I need those too). Rather, it’s due to the fact that I am able to control my muscles much better, and I’m much more limber than when I started.
I highly recommend Chris and his crew. If you’re a golfer, looking to be healthy enough to play golf in your 70s and beyond, you should give him a call!

Chris has a clear passion and deep understanding about the movement of the human body and teaching efficiency using physiology and physics.

I have worked with Chris Volgraff at Clutch Performance & Fitness for about one year. My goals were simple and related to improving my golf game. Chris provided interesting exercise and flexibility drills that ultimately helped me cut my handicap in half. He really knows his stuff, and he reads my body well from workout to workout. Chris has been helping my son (13) get stronger and more stable. My son had a rough travel hockey season last year during the COVID epidemic. He struggled with his skating and his performance and he wasn't having much fun. His movements looked disjointed and broken and I was concerned that without correction he might develop back and hip issues. Chris did an assessment and has been working with him on everything from strength to foot flexibility to explosiveness. My son is much stronger, he looks taller and more confident, and his movements are much smother. An added benefit is that he looks like a new player on the ice, he is scoring more and having more fun. Thanks Chris!

Chris has been working on speed and agility with my kids (ages 9 and 12). The techniques he teaches are all based on physics principles. He shows them clearly what to do and the drills allow the kids to work on each new skill. The skills translate immediately to their respective sports. He follows up with videos and assignments to do when we aren’t with him. I highly recommend Chris for speed and agility training.

My son just finished an 8 wk speed and agility course with Chris. We have seen great improvements in his overall movement and speed. Chris is currently training some of our U9 boys soccer team including my son in Speed and Agility. It was really great to see how quickly he picked up on their weaknesses and through the 8 weeks adjusted them and corrected their form and technique. Can’t wait for the second session to start. My son is really improving his over all quickness and movement.

Chris is an expert in the field of kinesiology and has a passion for helping athletes perfect their game. He has worked for decades with athletes who play a variety of sports as well as individuals looking to increase their fitness and performance.
My three children (9, 11, 13) completed a number of individual and group training sessions with Chris to increase their speed on the soccer field and their ability to out maneuver their premier level competitors.
