Crossfit Apex is by far the best gym around. I am a physical therapist so when I was looking for a gym to join I looked for coaches who care, not only about form but you as a person. The gym has been around for 15 years and the owners are top quality athletes. All of the owners coach regularly and take pride in their practice. If someone is unable to perform a movement due to it just being too challenging, or because of pain, they scale the exercise to an appropriate stimulus in order to experience a challenging workout without risking injury. The community is also like no other. I have been working out here for 5 months without plans to stop!

Apex is comprised of coaches and a community that day in and day out proves that they want to see you grow. The coaches take time to learn each athlete as an individual so they can customize your daily workout to you and your needs so you get the most out of it. Followed by top tier coaches, the community of people surrounding you is like no other. They are there to see you grow, encourage you constantly and push you to limits you didn’t know possible. CrossFit Apex is the place to be.

I would not recommend. Consult with a sports medicine doctor from a reputable Hospital before committing to CrossFit - the sports medicine doctors will let you know the real deal about injuries and health complications that may arise. As for myself, about one month working out here and I landed in the hospital with Exercise Induced Rhabdomyolysis ("Rhabdo"). I never heard of Rhabdo before, but when I went to the Emergency Room they were primarily asking general health questions. When they shifted to asking me about working out in more detail and I told them I was doing CrossFit, I was informed that it was likely Rhabdo as the hospital recently had a patient with the same symptoms and the person did CrossFit for exercise. My blood lab results confirmed that it was exercise induced Rhabdomyolysis as all other medical issues were ruled out. I spent a long time in the hospital and still have not recovered. Do your research by looking up CrossFit in resources from the Journal of the American Medical Association and National Institute of Health before you consider doing CrossFit.
