Evolution is the number one yoga studio hands down. Great teachers who take the time to answer your questions and will individually work with you to improve your yoga practice. I always felt welcome. Everything was always clean, and the atmosphere was always positive. And always a challenging class. Whatever level you are at, someone is there who will help you get to the next level. I'm grateful to Deb and the rest of staff there for creating such a great yoga space, and such a positive place in the neighborhood

The new location is subpar. No showers and only one bathroom. I wish they had a dedicated space instead of being located in a co-op.

Evolution has given me exactly what I need to feel like myself, again. After having kids, I fell out of my yoga practice, but evolution has guided me back. The teachers are incredibly supportive and helpful, not judgmental. They guide you each step of the way. I highly recommend going for one class to see if it is a fit for you.

I have been going to Evolution while at home visiting my family (I live in San Francisco now) and it has been so incredibly therapeutic and empowering in the wake of a painful breakup. I arrive at class all wound up and tired and leave energized, and truly “blissed out”… I really appreciate all the time options, the rigor of the classes, and the dedication of the other yogis who show up. The studio is beautiful and I feel so comfortable there. Only wish is that there was an SF location! Thank you, don’t know what is do without you.

While I absolutely love yoga in any capacity and the multiple studios that Evolution has to offer, I’ve found that some of the teachers can be rather off-putting. Although, I love the physical space at Evolution Lancaster (especially the big open windows allowing light to pour into the space), I’ve found myself avoiding certain teachers and times classes are offered. This is because my experience walking in slightly behind schedule normally isn’t a problem for most teachers, however, a particular teacher made sure to let me know I came in a moment late by shouting “LATE!” when I arrived on my mat while in the very first pose of class, only after I was trying to be as respectful as possible upon entering the studio knowing I was tardy from my walk across Lancaster to get there. To make matters worse, another student preceded me in entering the class, but nothing was said to that student. I felt targeted and ashamed. That same teacher also shared aloud on a different occasion in front of the check-in counter “yoga isn’t for everyone.” My heart sank upon hearing this because not only do I truly believe yoga is accessible for everyone, but this came from a teacher/ Evolution Staff Member. Ouch!

I havet taken classes on a regular basis since the studio I used to go to closed during the pandemic. I was searching for a new Yoga home and Evolution has been great. I look forward to every class and always feel amazing, both physically and mentally, when I leave.

I love so much about Evolution Power Yoga. I wanted to try yoga but hadn't planned on hot yoga. After I went for the first time, I was hooked. My yoga practice is great for me, and it helps me stay injury-free with my running. The breathing we do in class helps me run too. The teachers are absolutely wonderful - so supportive and they seem to know just what to say. After a long day at work, going to yoga class and hearing "drop everything that doesn't serve you" is exactly what I need.

Just attended my first handful of classes and I’m loving the studio. Friendly staff, clean, and I’ve left each class feeling great! It was really awesome to also receive a few emails after classes too with encouragement with being new.

This is a first-class studio. The Baptiste vinyasa flow style allows for either beginners or advanced practitioners to have a strong session. 90-degrees is the perfect amount of heat for me.

Life under the epidemic cannot be without yoga. I am picky about the hygiene of public spaces, I checked out a lot of yoga spaces. The evolution power yoga space is awesome, Bright classrooms, multiple toilets with showers. And the foot pads and shower curtain are white and clean. Yoga teachers are very friendly. Entering such a yoga space to exercise, the body and mind are happy. Let us improve our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual abilities through yoga training to achieve harmony of body, mind and spirit.

I carefully examined all the yoga studios in Lancaster and found Evolution to be a perfect fit for me. The heat, instructors, large number of classes made it the only choice for me. But what I found to be the best part is the amazing yoga community.

Burn your core. Keep the theoretical oranges in the kitchen, move over crossfit. This place is where it's at. Top notch instructors and a workout that has you dripping like a marathon in Houston. If you haven't dropped into the premier yoga experience for the region, make a change. I'll see you on your mat.

I have been going to Evolution now for a couple of months. Most of the staff is very friendly, the facility is very clean. I would recommend this place to someone who's interested in having a consistent yoga practice in a group setting and isn't afraid to sweat.

I've been practicing at EPY York studio for about 2 months, and I cannot believe the changes that I've noticed both physically and mentally. At first I was worried about the heat, because I had only practiced yoga at the gym, however I quickly learned the benefits and have actually come to enjoy the heat. The teachers at EPY are incredibly welcoming and encourage you to deepen and really feel each pose. Try a class, you won't be disappointed!

A gem in Lancaster right near F&M College and close to downtown. The studio is modern, clean, and offers nice amenities such as 4 bathrooms (with showers), a filtered water dispenser, and plenty of storage space for gear. Staff is always welcoming and friendly to both existing members and new visitors. The teachers really care about the physical and emotional well-being of their students and aim to facilitate participants' personal growth. Teachers are knowledgeable, having completed many hours of training, and are passionate about furthering their own and students' yoga practices. This is a place for anyone, of any age and body type, in which yogis can feel supported from staff, teachers, and the surrounding community.

I was very disappointed by my experience here. The mat I borrowed was disgusting, and I would have had a cleaner experience doing yoga directly on the floor. There was no music, just the constant droning of the very bossy yoga instructor who would call individuals out by name when they weren't practicing a pose to her liking. A separate woman came around and gave adjustments, unasked, despite the fact that many people may not have wanted to be touched. A man stood in the corner and watched us the entire time, and was never introduced. This is not how yoga should be experienced. I did not feel free to express my own practice or adjust poses for my own body. I was embarrassed to have brought my boyfriend's mother here, and had to apologize to her afterwards for the uncomfortable experience.
