I want to update my experience with Fusion Gym on Grant Avenue. Earlier, I had left a negative review because of an issue I was dealing with. However, after speaking with the team — especially the manager Kevin — everything was resolved quickly and professionally. I truly appreciate their help, and that’s why I removed my previous review.

Kevin went above and beyond to address all my concerns, and the entire staff was extremely friendly, respectful, and supportive. The gym is clean, well-equipped, and has a great atmosphere.

I’m genuinely thankful for their assistance, and I highly recommend Fusion Gym on Grant Avenue. They really care about their members.

For 100$ a month you think they would keep up with there machines when there broken. They fix up all the other fusions but pay no mind to this. Also sauna is never hot. Lockers in the locker room are always broke. Hand grips are always ripped.

I’ve been training at Fusion Gym for a while now, and it’s the best gyms I’ve experienced. Everyone’s locked in and focused, which keeps me motivated every time I walk in. The equipment is top quality, the lighting and setup make it feel next level, and the place stays clean. Definitely the best spot in Philly if you’re serious about your fitness goals.

Grants biggest issue is not having the same level equipment that warminster or fairless hills has. Wish equipment brands like prime and panatta were put into Grant to upgrade the location. With membership rates increasing, it seems like a reasonable goal to accomplish.

Some of the worst machines ive ever seen. You need to use clips on machines otherwise the weight will fall off. Most of them are designed very poorly. Which is weird because they are all proprietary.
There are not enough of some machines and too many of others. Everybody needs cable work, but we dont need more than ten seated chest presses and every variant of a leg press or row.
The middle turf area is small, in the way, and crowded.
The sauna is cold and tiny. And also closes at night??

On the plus side, there are many racks and the outside is awesome, yet its closed for the winter.

For 69 a month, id expect better management but if you value your time and effort, there is no better place to train in the area. Still, the overall design is terrible and is just barely worth the membership.

Fusion Gyms is the premier Northeast Philadelphia full gym location, It offers every kind of machine you can dream of, as well as a horde of free weights and space. Every time I've been there the staff has been welcoming and always reciprocated a fist bump.

There is so much equipment, It's hard to believe that it could be crowded, although during rush hour, on the weekdays, especially Monday, you would think this place is the only church in town during the rapture, and everyone's trying to get their last minute prayers in.

If the equipment you want is not inside or taken inside the gym, it's most likely outside, or has another version of the equipment outside. The outside is closed when it rains so you won't be able to use those large swathes shortly after it rains or a day or so after, unless you don't care about getting wet.

If you don't go at peak hours, it'll look like the peak hours at other gyms, except there's plenty of equipment with no waiting necessary. It'll be like your own personal gym if you go at far off hours, like 4-5am, or even earlier if you're a night owl.

Other locations are better!! The Grant location needs to have better methods for maintaining their equipment. Every time I give this location a chance, it never fails to have broken equipment or missing items. Even if you report the issue to the front desk, it still hasn't been resolved. Just be careful and mindful when working out here. Memberships are very expensive for the equipment to be consistently broken !!!

This gym is definitely best of the best, I go to grant ave and I must say it’s very nice and well upkept. I usually go around the times of 2am to 4am on weekdays at night where it’s dead but it’s never messy and always clean, having weights/equipment where it’s needed to be. The staff it’s also very friendly, I’ve only ever really spoke with this one name Ali, but from what he is like id would hope to assume the rest are similar as such. He’s extremely bubbly and helpful whenever I’ve asked for help with equipment or any problem with account errors. So far the best gym I’ve been to.

Since posting my review a few months ago, I’ve decided to provide an update to reflect my current experience considering that I joined Fusion Gyms nearly a year ago when I was looking for the perfect place to train for the Spartan Race.

Last year, in 2024, the outdoor facility at the Grant location“was” top notch with rings, monkey bars, a climbing rope and any standard strength equipment you can think of. There was something for everyone. The outdoor space closed for the winter months, which is understandable. But it was supposed to reopen in the spring, and June is now less than two weeks, and much to my disappointment, the outdoor facility is still closed while a grand opening occurred at the new location approximately a month ago and an open house reopening of the Fairless Hills outdoor facility not too long ago. I also received a text from Fusion Gyms Grant location stating that due to unforeseen circumstances, its future is at risk.
The neglect of the Grant location is evident as more focus seems to be given to other locations, and traveling to other locations is not practical for everyone, including me.

Though I’ve encountered some kind people on their own fitness journeys and kind workers like Casey and Reggie, which makes for a welcoming environment, I am contemplating if I will keep my membership since I am paying a fee that does not provide access to an outdoor facility unless I am willing to travel further to the other locations. I have another Spartan Race approaching and was eager to get outdoors at Fusion Gyms, so needless to say, I am now scrambling to find a facility to help prepare me for my next race in the event that the facility does not open. 🥺

I joined this gym in south philly when it opened, it was good. It’s been a year and the machines treadmills in particular are ALWAYS out of order!!! I pay too much money to not be able to use a machine when I need to, I get it there’s going to be wear and tear but they never get fixed!! That’s a problem get it together!!!

They got so much 4/5 stars reviews because at the end of 2024 they asked everyone to leave a good review in change of the opportunity to win a free year of gym, they were also checking you when you did that.

This gym was great, but then it went downhill, machineries are cheap made, shaky, asymmetrical and they do close to zero maintenance, most of the time you have to deal with partially broken machines screwing up all the execution of the exercise.

The lockers in the changing room are terrible, a good 70% of them is not working so you have to leave your stuff inside hoping that nobody is gonna steal it to you, yes it happens.

The only good thing is the stuff, very friendly and open to assist you in anything.

I'm really sorry for the direction that this gym took but they focused too much on appearing good on instagram instead of actually building a good quality gym, now i left for another gym and apparently i got blocked on instagram since i can't see their profile anymore, wow.

Most of the people i met there were complaining about the same stuff but they're og members so they're still paying 10/20$ a month which is acceptable, but newer members had to pay 70 and now 80$/mo and honestly it's unfair.

Machines are not well maintained, no cleaning staff, no one at the front desk (4AM) March 12. I regularly work out at Planet Fitness and this felt like a massive downgrade. The equipment seemed very cheap as well and I don’t even know if the weights are accurate. Unfortunately I believe the owner is occupied more with opening new locations than caring about his existing ones. The aesthetics of the Locker rooms, and the mirrors around are the only nice thing about the gym. Charging $80/Month is insane when you can’t even exhibit better quality than PF. Won’t be back and will not renew membership. Please maintain your equipment and hire better staff.

Casey is probably the best employee I have experienced here in my time as a member here. He is diligent, professional, and hard working. The gym is always clean, the weights are always re-racked, and supplies are always stocked when he is working.

I am very impressed with not only how much he cares about his job, but how he cares about making sure he is there for the members and giving them the best experience possible. He makes sure he greets and says goodbye to everyone, and is always kind and accommodating for everyone's needs.

I hope Fusion management knows what they have and consider this guy an asset. I hope he is paid adequately and is promoted into some kind of management position because he absolutely deserves it.

It had been a little while since I had been to Fusion. Mom Dukes is back lol. Anyway upon entering, I was greeted by Cassey who was very polite and accommodating. He addressed an issue I had with a piece of equipment as soon as I bought it to his attention. He also asked how my workout went before I left. The gym was exceptionally clean, equipment was where is was supposed to be. The restroom was very very clean and well stocked with paper products. The staff on location (Casey) was fantastic. Where do I even start? I've been a member of Fusion Gyms since before they were even an open facility; seriously. Anyone remember November of 2017 when the Gym was $1 dollar down and $5 dollars a month? That was me. I was one of those members.

Fast forward to now; multiple incredible facilities; all state of the art in design and catering to the ever growing fitness community full of influencers, gym rats, and regular recreational lifters alike. It is accommodating to everyone. I've watched this location, the brand, the OWNER (Tony) and a few of its original employees (John, KEVIN!!!!) grow IMMEASURABLY and to this day it still hasn't missed.

This location, at Grant Avenue, has been the catalyst for a lot of my personal growth. Whether I am working out at 2AM when it's slow, 8am with the early birds or 6PM with the crowd - I'm always able to have a great workout and get things done.

The beauty of being a member of the fusion family for so long is that I've been able to see it change management multiple times and this location has never been in a better spot than now. Kudos to Kevin.

Anyone looking for a gym that is ALL ENCOMPASSING; i.e: welcoming, atmosphere, equipment, facilities and employees. I personally couldn't recommend a better place. Having been to NUMEROUS gyms, this is the one that checks the most boxes consistently in what I personally want and/or need in a gym.

The gym equipment is good, but the music is crazy loud. I don't mind there being music in the background, but why does it need to be as loud as a nightclub? Especially when everyone is trying to listen to their own music with their own earphones. Also, the lockers are sketchy and broken most of the time, so I'd advise not using them. Other than that, it's a decent gym.

I've been going to this gym for a few months now, and I absolutely love it. The equipment is top-notch and always well-maintained. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help with any questions. The lighting is just visually aesthetic and it being 24 hours just helps me out so much with my crazy work schedule.

All of the DBs you need to 150 lbs. They also have every machine you ever wanted and more that you never knew you needed. Along with the huge inside gym they also have a second part outside with two basketball courts. I can’t wait to see how they continually update this gym. Shout out to Dylan for always being helpful.
