I’ll preface this review by saying I’ve been going to the same gym for 7 years and I would consider myself an Intermediate level gym-goer. While Fusion is aesthetically appealing, there were a couple of problems for me.

When I joined in July, it was $100 a month which is a lot, but I was willing to give it a try. Just a month or so after I joined, it went down to $69 a month so it’s not even a “Black Friday” sale they’re running right now. Given, I was easily swayed by the “the price will probably go up again soon with the new opening of the Fusion resort in AC” which is very much my fault and also for not just trying a day-pass or open house first.

I went one time, and I have to say the setup of all of the equipment was not for me. They organize the machines by manufacturer, not the muscle group you’re working on. It also gave off a “if you’re not a gym influencer, why are you here?” Kind of vibe. The treadmills are very high tech and odd to use, it abruptly stopped when I was still walking because I guess it senses your steps, but it was very unpredictable and I almost fell off twice.

After I went one time and decided it wasn’t worth the drive or atmosphere to spend $100, I sent an email to the email address they provided. An auto response email was sent back to me that stated someone would respond to my email promptly and if more immediate attention is needed to call the number below…except there was no number anywhere in the email. I sent a follow up email that I got no response to and had no choice but to cancel my credit card to avoid being charged $100 for a gym I’m not using. Overall, I don’t think it’s a generally good business practice to, not only charge so much money for a gym experience with no tiered system so that not everyone is paying for things they may not use, but then to make it difficult for people to even just get a response regarding questions and cancellations.

I think is the right gym for some, but not for me and for me. I think they’re going to fizzle out quickly if they don’t figure out a better way to navigate this kind of stuff.

Fusion gym really need to update their hours on Google. It shows they’re open 24 hours, but I came at 7:00 AM and it’s now 8:09 AM and still closed. People are standing outside waiting because the holiday hours aren’t posted anywhere, not even in the app. hire someone to keep your hours updated.

Fusion is the best new gym in the area. Open 24 hours and staffed. More equipment than you could ever imagine needing and always clean! Travis is always so friendly when I walk in at 4AM, greeting me with a smile and motivation. He’s always working to mop, sweep and tidy the gym while also motivating our morning crew. This location is the biggest of all the Fusion Locations and it offers so many different brands of equipment and so many of each! The cold plunges and the sauna are both top of the line! They have a bunch of events for members as well as a lot of open houses for people to experience the gym! $99 may seem pricy but between the YMCA charging more for 30+ year olds and the other local gyms not having enough equipment to reflect the amount of members! It’s not if but when you end up here that you’ll see for yourself how awesome it is

Love the atmosphere, music is blasting but you can still put on headphones or buds and lock in with active noise canceling. Plenty of machines, cable or free weight. Plenty of benches available too. Sauna, cold plunge and Basketball court available. Big supplement and drink selection. You have a cardio section with elepticals, treadmills and step machines. 3 weeks in. So far a great experience. First off, the space is massive. Like, seriously huge. Tons of squat racks, benches, and machines, so I rarely have to wait around for equipment. There’s a separate turf area, basketball courts, and even some outdoor equipment, which is great in nice weather. It feels more like a high-end fitness compound than a typical gym. I really enjoy this gym and reccomend to all of my friends!

Beautiful gym with a wide variety of machines (pin and plate loaded) by some very high-end brands. The atmosphere really does make you want to just lock in and focus and the music is perfect! Locker rooms stay nice and clean; has a sauna, cold plunge, showers, and automatic lockers so you don’t have to bring one. The employees like V, Ree, & so many others are super sweet and helpful too!
