Love this place! We had a multigenerational gathering at Garnet Valley Gymnastics. My entire family loved the foam pit and the trampolines. The kids had a ball. It’s the only gymnastics facility I had ever been in that smelled good and clean. The party attendants were as fabulous as the owners. They never sat down. The owners and staff constantly asked us if we needed anything or if there was anything they could do for us. Such a great time. I hated for it to end!

Went to a party at the gym and everything was wonderful! The staff were so nice and took great care of the play area. There was so much to do and my 3 year old and 1 year old had a blast!

My daughter loves gymnastics! We have been to a few gyms in the area, and I have to say Garnet Valley comes out on top! I love that they offer drop in clinics and private lessons. They do their best to meet each child where they are at and help them work towards their personal goals. My daughter has only been attending classes for a few months, but already Garnet Valley feels like home.❀️

We held a large birthday party for our 6 year-old this past Sunday (Super bowl day!) at Garnet Valley Gymnastics and Kids/Rock Quest. The kids had a blast during all the activities! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The facilities were nicely decorated and clean! Everyone had a great time! Thanks!

We had a joint birthday party at Kids Quest (run by GV Gymnastics). The space is bright and cheery and the staff was so helpful. I want to give them extra appreciation because our event took place on the morning of a snowy day. They reached out beforehand to make sure we knew there was a chance for a weather-related cancellation, and then kindly offered to move forward with our party because there wasn't yet snow in the morning. They were flexible and supportive. Can't recommend them enough!

My daughter loves doing gymnastics here! The staff is friendly and so good with the children. If you miss a class, the owner is so accommodating and you can attend another one as a make up. Lastly, they have so many fun stations set up for the kids so they don’t get bored. Highly recommend Garnet Valley Gymnastics!

My daughter was seriously injured (requiring surgery) during a one on one class with her "coach". Not sure how this happens when its just the student and the coach, but it did. When my daughter gets her second cast off and finishes PT we will be joining a different gymnastics school

We paid our deposit for a birthday party earlier this year, but then Covid hit and the gym was no longer able to host our party because of the Governor's shut down order. We attempted to work with the company and reschedule the party. The person we spoke with said that if they were permitted to open on the date of our rescheduled party they could not refund our money (but could give us a future credit); however, if they were still closed due to the Governor's order, they could issue our full refund. A few weeks later, the shutdown was extended, so we asked for our full refund, and the gym said that it would process that refund the following week. After a month went by and we saw no credit on our card, we emailed the gym and they said they had processed the refund. A few weeks later, we still saw no refund. Eventually, we saw a partial refund on our card. When we emailed the gym to inquire about the discrepancy, the gym's response was rude and surprising. The gym stated that they held back a portion of our refund as a "refund fee," and that this was "clearly" on their website. Obviously, it was not "clearly" anywhere, otherwise we would not have had to ask about the discrepancy. Also, during our months long conversations by email, during which they agreed to refund our money, no one ever mentioned a "refund fee." When we responded by saying that this fee was news to us, and that we hoped they would not be so short sighted as to lose our business by refusing to refund a relatively small dollar amount dispute, the gym still refused. The gym faulted us for requesting a refund, stating that we could have kept the full value of our deposit if we had only accepted the option for a credit, but that since we were not "pleased" with a credit and insisted on a refund, we had to lose part of the deposit as a refund fee. Regardless of whether there is a cost to them to issue refunds, we should not take on that cost because they never mentioned it to us and we should not be penalized for requesting a refund because the gym cannot fulfill the obligation we hired them for. This is such a sad situation because we initially tried to work with them and reschedule--a fact they ignore--and we were never told that our choice was between a full value credit or a partial refund. The only reference to processing fees on their website has nothing to do with birthday parties, but rather, with registration for gym classes. And in any event, the processing fee is less than what they charged us. We understand that normally the deposit is non-refundable. However, they didn't do us any favors by issuing a partial refund because they have not earned our money. We did not request a refund due to a change of heart. We requested a refund because they could not provide the service we paid for, (basic contract law principles), and they agreed to give us a refund when we asked for it in "full." We didn't pay for a party at some indefinite time in the future. We paid for a party around our child's birthday. And we certainly have no idea if this gym is going to go bankrupt due to the shutdown, so the last thing we want to do is have them hold onto our money until whenever (if ever) they open. No mention was ever made of a fee. Their response is nasty, doesn’t value our future business, and slips in a fee we never discussed. So now we are filing a credit card dispute to obtain our full refund. Such a wasted business opportunity by them. We are just posting this to let others know of our experience so you can make your own informed decisions. To those who have had good experiences, that is great. Just be aware that when they are unable to deliver and you request your money back, you may get the same cold, deceptive, and callous response we got, and may have to deal with the headache of a credit card dispute.

There is a large variation in class quality. It varies between excellent instruction and organized play based on student to teacher ratio which is inconsistent week to week. My daughter attends a day class and it is usually great. My son attends an evening class and it is typically less than great. The kids both love going but the price is high for value provided.

I can't believe how much this place has gone down hill since the new owners took over. The worst part is that the atmosphere has completely changed from the fun and bubbly one to one that belongs in a corporate office. There's no passion from these new owners. I can tell that this is just another business to them and it's obviously affecting the staff (who are the only reason I even stayed this long). I'm sure some of the staff are looking for a job elsewhere and when they find one, I hope they let me know where to sign my daughter up. Until then, she will NOT be returning to this gym.
