I visited York for a month and needed a gym while traveling. Heritage Hills is a fantastic gym, similar in style to a strength & conditioning gym I attend in Salt Lake City. Heritage Hills has state of the art equipment, cardio and weightlifting gear, competition-style benches, and a wide selection of dumbbells, barbells and kettlebells. Everyone was friendly and the gym is clean, safe and well maintainted. Yoga classes with Anne were wonderful as well! I would easily recommend this gym and will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

Great fitness atmosphere. Plenty of space for a casual cardio session, group fitness class, or power lifting. Never crowded, always clean. The functional fitness area is ideal for movements that require space, like farmer carries or sled pushes. I appreciate the deadlift pads for my barbell circuits. Overall, as a three year member I am quite happy here.

I have been a long standing member of HHAC for nearly 4 years.

Over these years, I have experienced ups and downs as a member. With that being said, I cannot say enough GOOD about what is happening now with the new General Manager they recently hired. He has taken time to coach and pour into the students who work the front desk, fix various equipment and facility pieces that had been neglected for a while and is very approachable.

I love the small, close knit, family feel of this gym. Bonus is that I live just 10 minutes from it as well as it's right off the freeway on my way home from work! Also, it's clean, and I hardly ever have to wait for a machine! Finally, I have had the opportunity to make lifelong friends here and I'm grateful.

I had cancelled my membership August 2024. They have continued to charge me.i have spoke to numerppous people and am told that yes it was cancelled but they never called to tell me it was on hold bc of a balance. They could not tell me what it was or where it came from bc it makes no sense since they continue to charge me. I was told only Holly could address this and give me my 320 dollars back.she will not take my call nor call me back. I escalated and got another persons name as he is in charge of the athletic club.his name is Matt Binko. I called and left him a message. He did tell someone who works there that his wife Jamie handles the accounts and that she will call me. It has been 4 days and she nor Matt nor Holly have called me back. I called in again on Saturday 6/21 asked for Holly the person who answered Said she was in a meeting but she got my messages and would call me back. She never did. I have also texted Matt Binko again and he never responded.
They literally have stolen 320.00 from me and are treating me as if I don't exist. I am escalating this in any way I can. I initialized the first call last Monday. It's been a week and nothing . Matt Derosa I hope you read this and do something about it. This is no way to run a business.

Got my boyfriend a MONTH TO MONTH membership April 9th, he ended up incarcerated April 15th, so on April 16 I go out and say I need to cancel it and why. Even knowing full well this membership wasn't even used for a month... they tell me I can't cancel this month to month that day unless I pay May and the YEARLY charge they take out in June which is about another $80 on top of the already paid $30 for April to only use the gym not even a full week. This business misled both of my children into signing up for full memberships after they specifically asked if there was a student membership available just for the holidays. Not only was this information false, but they also charged each of them cancellation fees for memberships they never intended to sign up for. They sign you up, but never tell you there is an annual fee, until you ask why you got so much for the month. Staff is real nice though. Signed my son and I up and they signed up three people charged me for it and when I disputed it, they just fixed it, but didn't refund my money for the extra money they took out my account.

Usually dirty, indoor courts and fields are nearly ALWAYS rented out to other unaffiliated groups. Staff is hit and miss. There's some very nice staff, but there's a few rude women. Hours are weird. All of their televisions are blue screens.

They have Ballyhoo sports teams (soccer/volleyball/basketball/etc.) they absolutely do not support their female soccer teams. You will practice on subpar fields (even their on-site outdoor soccer field is a joke.) there will be no winter programs, even though they own an indoor field. I can't speak to their boys program. The team coaches do their best, but they aren't given any support from the club itself. There are much better clubs.

I don't really know what this place's purpose is. If you want to play indoor basketball and there isn't a volleyball tournament, then I guess it's fine. If you want to use the S3 personal training, that looks good too. If you want to use treadmills and don't want to want to watch the televisions, and you don't like working out past 5 on weekends, then this place is fine.

But there's better versions of all those things in the area.

Staff allows young children, aged about 2-4 to play on the elliptical machine and the rowing machine. This is done after 11 am when childcare is done til evening hours. 2 days ago there was a woman on a treadmill with one of these little girls on a moving treadmill. When did it become acceptable for children to play on fitness equipment? There are many unsafe practices going on in this gym. Who will protect these children??? I have complained but was told owners are allowing this

My daughter has had multiple volleyball tournaments at this facility. Each and every time we are met with an unclean facility. The bleachers were broken, there was trash everywhere (including used bandaids), and the trash cans were full/overflowing all day. There were multiple areas that had 2x4s piled up, taking away from seating areas. There is broken equipment around the whole arena area, just laying haphazardly. The bathrooms are also disgusting. Soap dispensers do not dispense enough soap to properly wash hands.

Nice gym overall, however cleaning there is an issues as the bathrooms are dirty. Along with the rest of the gym, the gym is dirty and equipment is never put back and if you go during particular times are is only 1 of every machine leading to wasting your workout waiting. And recent I have seen kids behind the desk and young children ages 11-13 running on the treadmill barefoot or lifting weights without adult supervision. For 22$ a month there is better options for the money. especially when cleaning is a big dealbreaker for a membership. Friendly staff and people but the gym itself is falling apart.

Booked and stayed here last minute after a horrible hotel experience. Completely amazed, would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. Just make sure you book a few weeks before because this place sells out quick especially during weekends. If you expect room service think again, no one answers the phone you have a go down and order in person but someone will bring it to your room. The gym itself is good and I never have to wait for equipment, no complaints there. But I can’t use the gym because of the terrible child care. The hours are super short and inconsistent, the person that’s supposed to do it isn’t even there sometimes, and on top of it all you have to pay $15 extra a month to use the practically non existent day care. You would think with a gym backed by Heritage Hills they would be able to provide day care for more than just 2 hours in the morning from 8:30-10:30 ESPECIALLY if you’re paying extra for the service.

I wish they would have kept the quality of customer service that Strictly Fitness used to have. This gym is a far cry from the old one. If they would make their gym more accessible for parents I would be able to use the gym. As it stands now though, I’ll just go somewhere else and deal with the crowds.

I've been a member at HH since the summer of 2019, when they transferred much of the membership base over from the now to function Strictly Fitness. This gym has all the equipment that you could ever want. Everything is new, clean, and well maintained. The ownership is responsive and competent, and the staff are friendly and professional. The members practice good gym etiquette and it is both an inviting and enjoyable gym to work out in.

Well it was my 1st time out since Covid so I was excited to take my mom there.. Service was great, day was beautiful, however the drinks were pretty but had no alchohol in them, I got the salmon on multigrain bread. It was toasted beyond toast that it cut the roof of my mouth an very little salmon. They need to step this up or they will be renaming it AGAIN🥺 sad because it's such a beautiful place.

I am a local contractor in the area and do a lot of business with out-of-town guests I'm went to this property for two individual studies to get acquainted the first room that I stayed in was room 315 and what I found a used Band-Aid in the whirlpool the next day I moved to the room 415 that room for one night was nice I was then given the suggestion to look at their presidential suite in which we stayed two nights in 5:17 this was an absolute horror 517 is a bi-level suite upon coming downstairs from the top living room looking out the grand window I found on the window sill dust crumbles up pieces of paper and tape I complain to the front desk which they took care of however I could not understand how maid service would let this go upon entering the unit we found pieces of store for oil all over the carpet we were woken up the second morning by the fire alarm going off and was given no reason of why the girl who work the front desk was totally useless I would suggest anyone who's looking for a professional stay do not stay at this property it is well below average

Sadly this gym has gone downhill steadily in the past few years. New ownership had me very excited about the ideas of improvement and it getting back on track. Unfortunately instead the arena space, where some of the classes are held, stayed filthy and neglected despite the fact that it was the most expensive membership. I go there to practice Aikido everyone's day. It is an energy based martial art that focuses on using your opponent's attacks against them. We practice every Wednesday night from 7:30 to 9:30. Our instructor has been practicing Aikido for over 20 years.

If you don't mind Daddies bringing their two and three year old daughters into the men's locker room as you come out of the shower, Then this is an OK gym. If you don't mind kids running through the men's locker room playing their games. good gym. It's obvious that the ownership is catering to soccer groups over regular gym members. Last winter they had a tournament. Those of us who attend the Saturday Morning Kick Boxing sessions were told we'd have to use the " ANNEX" behind the hotel. Walk the block over to the hotel, no gym locker room there.

The equipment is top notch. Lots of floor space. The instructors... most of them are also truly excellent.

The men's locker room is a pit. Yeah, sooner or later they'll get around to renovating it. Been hearing that for a long time.

The staff, quite friendly and ready to be of service. AWESOME instructors for the classes.

Planet fitness has MUCH cleaner locker rooms, The equipment variety is not quite as nice as Heritage, yet if you know what you are doing, you can get a great workout. Plus, you aren't dodging children in the locker rooms. Finally, Planet offers no surprises such as, " We have a tournament next week, so you'll have to deal with kiddies in the locker room, and Soccer Moms & Dads blocking things up."

I'll be going back to Planet Fitness next month when my monthly renewal runs out.
