I am new to strength training and I was super lucky to find Katie online. Her sessions are fun, friendly and customized to keep you both challenged and motivated. Even in this early stage of training, I’m feeling a difference and it’s been very encouraging since I’ve had some health struggles that slowed me down significantly in the recent past. I’ve been working with Katie for a few months now and I’m definitely feeling much stronger! Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable about workout routines for my body but she pushes me in a way that feels safe. Especially after having 3 children and some knee issues that come and go for me. My hour with her feels challenging and rewarding at the end. I would definitely recommend her to any person or age range. She’s great!

I’ve been working with Katie for the past 5 months and have had a very positive experience. I have always been inconsistent with working out - I’d start programs, stick with them for a while but work or life would get in the way and I’d get out of the rhythm very quickly. Katie helped me make small, sustainable changes that have had a big impact. She pushes me, focuses on form and adapts workouts as needed. My body has really transformed over the past few months. I have been lifting weights with Katie for about 4 months now. From the start, Katie was quick to understand my goal to build more muscle in middle age, but also to work around several previous injuries that I had sustained. She even sought out information from a physical therapist for me at one point. She does research outside of our sessions to plan individualized workouts tailored to me. She keeps careful track of where I am at and makes notes during my sessions. I was nervous to lift weights on my own and worried that I would aggravate past injuries since my knowledge of proper weightlifting technique is minimal. I am so glad that I decided to seek out help to carry out proper technique. Katie is keen on technique and makes corrections as necessary through our sessions. I already feel stronger and can see difference in my muscle tone. She is knowledgeable in many kinds of exercises and keeps the routines interesting. I never feel bored, and I always look forward to my workouts. She has a nice personality and is enjoyable to chat with between sets. Katie is passionate about well-being and practices an intense weightlifting routine herself, but she also understands my beginner status and my goals of injury prevention, longevity, strength and flexibility. Her workout space is lovely and private, so it is a really nice place to go at the end of my workday. I look forward to it and I always feel like the stress of my workday is gone at the end of each session. I hope to work with her for a long time to come to achieve my fitness goals.

After trying to do my own workouts at home and having very little success, I finally decided that I needed help from someone that actually knew what they were doing. Katie tailors each workout to help you meet your goals and is quick to make any changes during your session if needed. She is extremely knowledgeable about the body and muscles (obviously) and she explains what muscle groups are being targeted and how they work together so you can get the most out of your workout.
The session times are made to fit your schedule – there have been a few occasions that I have needed to change a time because of kids, dogs, and life in general, but Katie has always been able to help me find a time that works. Her studio is extremely clean, and she always has a fun playlist!
Katie also does an incredible job with working out a meal plan that keeps you on target for meeting your goals. At first, I thought this was going to be really hard to accomplish, but she creates a plan that incorporates foods you enjoy and fit into your lifestyle (she even worked my favorite Starbucks coffee drink into my plan!). If there is something that she suggests that you don’t particularly care for, she is quick to find a substitution.
In all honesty, five stars really are not enough. I have been working out with Katie for about five months now, and I could not be happier with how much she has helped me in growing stronger, leaner, and healthier. I always dreaded doing any type of “workout” related activity, and now I look forward to my training sessions each week. Katie is trustworthy, kind, funny, and motivational – which all make for fun and enjoyable training sessions! For anyone who may feel hesitant about the idea of working out with a trainer, do yourself a favor and message Katie right away…you will not be disappointed!

This has been a game changer for me, just working with her for a month! I am seeing changes already. Her workouts are perfect for my fitness level but also challenging me every week. Katie is a phenomenal trainer - easily the best I've ever worked with. She is extremely knowledgeable about health, fitness, and nutrition. She creates challenging and effective workout routines for every session and continuously adjusts them according to my skill level. She is very personable and motivates me to give my best effort. I started working out with Katie at the end of May. I was super nervous, out of shape and overweight. One thing I loved right away about Katie is that she didn’t act like I wasn’t overweight, she recognized I was brand new to strength training, but also didn’t harp on it. She just came up with a plan for me and we got to WORRRRRK!
She has also helped me so much with proper nutrition in accordance with strength training. Katie always answers all of my questions (I always have a lot!) and never makes me feel dumb that I don’t know and always gives very straightforward answers/advice. And on the advice end, same goes for technique/stance… I’m kind of a clumsy awkward gal, but Katie is extremely patient and makes sure positioning is correct, again without making me feel as new/nuanced as I am.
I could go on and on and on, but lastly we gotta talk about the actual workouts! Katie has an amazing ability to guide me through a workout that always brings me right to edge, and always, ALWAYS way farther than I thought I could go, but never to the point where I’m sick or injured. She really understands the total makeup of the body -!: building muscle and eliminating fat. She’s encouraging, listens and never judges, just comes up with a solution! It’s shocking to see how I have progressed and to see what I can do now, versus 3 months ago… if you’re looking for someone to give you the how to for your goals, who never judges while also keeping it real, and helps you yield dynamic results, reach out now, I am telling you, don’t wait! AND, (for real the last thing) Katie’s studio is SUPER, SUPER clean!

katie is awesome. i've worked with other trainers in the past and she is by far the best. she's very good about adjusting the workouts around my injuries and bad knees. she challenges me to push myself, but also knows my limits. her attention to detail and proper form are commendable. and i absolutely love her studio space. you can't tell me i'm not wonder woman when i go home and flex in the mirror after each session!

I’ve been working out with Katie for several months so far, and in that time I’ve found her to be an amazing trainer who is very motivating. She pushes you just the right amount. When you’re in a workout session with her, you are her only focus, you can tell she truly cares, and she puts great thought into the exercises she chooses for you to do in each session. Her studio is super clean and she’s decorated it so nicely. Katie’s also a great person to talk with and she helps make the workout sessions go by fast!!

I was using walker when I started strength training with Katie 6 months ago. Now I’m stronger and my balance has so improved, I only need a cane when I’m outdoors. Katie saw where I was weak and designed a program for me that is challenging and fun. As you exercise, she watches your form and your breathing. When she sees me struggling with a move, she quickly makes an adjustment and she doesn’t mind repeatedly demonstrating a move to this 78 year old-senior, who often forgets. I’m always happier after our workout session.

I really enjoy working with Katie. The thought of a personal trainer was always very intimidating to me, so I was hesitant at first. But I am really glad that I found Katie.
