I felt like I was being trained by a real boxing coach. I went for the first time on 7/21/25 as a friend recommended it and they offered a free first class trial. It was a spectacular workout. By the end I could feel why boxers get so fatigued after 12 rounds of haymakers and uppercuts. The coach was very lively, energetic, charismatic, motivating, and engaged throughout the entire class. She actively corrected bad form and gave tips during the entire time. She made the entire experience the best. I highly recommend everyone try a class here at least once in their lives. You'll feel like Floyd Mayweather or Muhammad Ali, straight winner at the end.

I just joined KickHouse York earlier this month and have been loving it! I can say I haven't really "exercised" since high school and I'm 51 now! I love the group atmosphere. You can go at your own pace. You always feel welcome by the coaches and your classmates! I definitely found a new home in this "House"! I always leave with a smile on my face! Give it a try! I cannot say enough great things about Kickhouse! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and part of a positive, encouraging community. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, and they make sure everyone—from beginners to experienced athletes—feels supported and challenged at the same time.
The workouts are intense but fun, with a perfect balance of cardio, strength training, and technique. I’ve seen a huge improvement in my fitness level, confidence, and even stress management since joining. I’ve been going to KickHouse York since June 2024 and this place is awesome! The trainers are super friendly, helpful, and encouraging. The workouts are challenging, phenomenal, and fun. I’ve taken Abs n Jabs, Kickstart, ClassicKick/ClassicMashup and I love them all. Sweat is literally flying off me, the workouts are that good. The music is eclectic and on par. Sometimes the music syncs up nicely to combos we’re doing in class and I’ll follow the intensity of the rhythm. I’ve lost 11.5 pounds so far and I’m looking to lose another 10 during the next upcoming weeks. KickHouse also has yoga on Tuesdays which is great for loosening up the muscles worked during StrengthKick. I have a love-dislike for those pesky TRX bands, they look simple, but they take strength training workouts up a dozen notches over traditional weights! Kind of off topic, but when I went to the grocery store yesterday, the cashier placed two gallons of milk in my shopping tote and had to use two hands to lift it. I was able to lift and put the bag in the shopping cart using one hand and thought when did that happen? Anyway, I’m so thrilled KickHouse popped up in my social media feed. I think I would be lost without KickHouse. The workouts are addictive and I am hooked and not crossed!

I have been kickboxing @kickhouse for a little over a year now. I love this place. I love that I can schedule and change classes on the app. Flexibility like that is important for a working mom that is trying to balance it all. The instructors keep it interesting…just when I think I know this combo there is a new twist. The studio is so clean too. The instructors not only teach but they take the classes too! I love when I see instructors in class it’s such a great motivator and reminder to keep working hard. There is something special about this place that keeps me coming back!

I joined the kickHouse family in April and it has been a wonderful journey to go through. I joined to help myself overcome some anxiety from a past relationship. It has taught me more than I could ever imagined! The whole staff is welcoming acknowledgeable and knows what I need before I do. They have recently switch up the classes. Now that they have done this I can take classes that I haven't tried yet. They are always trying to improve and find new techniques and change up the sequence. If you are debating taking your first free class, like I was, please read on! I was nervous to book the first class because I was scared I would feel judged and scared I wouldn't be up to the same speed as everyone else there. I literally sat for hours trying to find and watch videos on what these classes are about. (I also have high social anxiety though lol). I found a Facebook video of this Kickhouse doing a virtual class. I watched the whole thing. I decided to go out of my comfort zone and I booked the class. I felt welcomed, included and no pressure, the minute I walked in the door. I have been doing kickboxing from home for 2 1/2 years, but I assure you that if you have no experience you will love it. The trainer I had, that day, motivated me and helped me with the stances I didn't exactly know. She even told me at the beginning of class, if I would like to be left alone and not have assistance to just let her know. My social anxiety loved hearing that! (Shout-out to Evangelia!) Probably 10 minutes into the class I knew I wanted to be a member. At the end of that class she walked me through all the options and told me about each class format, she was very informative. I ended up signing up for the 8 classes a month membership (currently 139/mo). She told me that most people switch to the unlimited classes. I started going to 2 6 AM classes a week, felt I wanted more and about 2 weeks in I switched to the Unlimited Classes (currently 159/mo). I now try to go to classes 5-6 times a week. If you are worried that you might not be fit enough, in shape or not fit a narrative, let that worry go and book a class. Everybody in the class goes at their own pace, all the members are different shapes, sizes, etc... I'm telling you, you won't regret going, even if you just take 1 class and it isn't for you. The energy is amazing and honestly it's a bit addicting.

I have been searching for some form of exercise that I can get excited about since I quit swimming almost 20 years ago, and FINALLY found it at KickHouse. I joined Kickhouse in 2020. The studio did an amazing job of being able to reopen during Covid. I took a break and recently went back this past year and have added personal training to my workout regime. The atmosphere is always supportive and upbeat and I have made lifelong friends boxing and kicking side by side. I highly recommend checking out Kickhouse.

If your looking for a great all body workout, look no further, Kickhouse has it all and then some. I've been a member since they opened. The trainers are amazing. They have so much passion, they are inspiring , and care about each and every member who walks through the doors. The members are so supportive and cheer each other on. And the energy is through the roof. You don't have to be athletic and the only real competition is you and your future self. Don't underestimate yourself you will build confidence like never before and don't forget it's the best stress reliever. Not only are is this a great place to work out, theses trainers and members give back to the community, with fundraisers and also supporting local businesses. Give it a try, walk in and check it out. The first class is always free. You won't regret it, take it from me a 61, almost 62 year old woman/grandma, I'm so happy I walked through those doors ❤️🥊😀

Been coming for almost a year (November 2023) and I have no plans on stopping my membership. The coaches, the workout and all of the people that come are a 10/10. I am a stay at home Mom of 2 so not only is this good for me to get of the house, but also so good for me mentally and physically. I am expecting my third child in January and the classes are still manageable but there is an option to modify if necessary! I am so blessed and thankful to have KH in my life!

I have been a York KickHouse family member for over a year now... WOW....how time fly's when your having fun learning how to punch and kick bags!! All the trainers at York are AMAZING to learn from and you can definitely tell they LOVE what they do through how ENTHUSIASTIC they are when teaching a class. I would and do highly recommend you stop by and give a class a try! There are many different classes you can take depending on your level of experience, but just let me say, no matter what your skill level is you still get that same personal experience from the trainers!! They give you modifications if you need it and also the motivation to push yourself to the next level. There is NEVER any judgment here, we support and motivate each other! I definitely recommend you stop by and meet the family!!

Kickhouse is amazing! All the instructors are awesome. I ran 7 days a week and wanted to try something different. A few friends went from work and told me it was fun. Had my first FREE class at Kickhouse and within 10 minutes knew I had to join! As soon as I walked in Yevonne greeted me right away and made me feel welcome (I’m sure my face gave away it was my first class😅) she gave me some info and assured me I’d have a great time. I did the KickStart class with Geremiah and whew it was GREAT, definitely challenging as I haven’t done kickboxing before but both Geremiah and Yvonne helped the newbies the whole class and made sure we could keep up. The atmosphere, people and music playlist were all on point!! Can’t wait for my next class- highly recommend checking it out!

I’ve been kickboxing here for over a year and love it! It’s fun and I have seen my strength and stamina transform my physical and mental health. Because I am not a morning person, I usually go in the evening M-F, but do wish they had afternoon or evening classes on weekends too!

Was excited. A friend said everyone is really nice there. Basically true. I have CPTSD. This class triggered it REALLY bad. Not too shortly after the punch/kicks I began to have flash backs. Went to the counter. Told the lady I was having a Really bad panic attack and needed to leave. She said, "this usually helps with panic attacks." I said, "I guess not with my kind of trauma." Told her I wanted to pay for my gloves. She looked confused. I showed her my hands. "She said, "oh, you mean wraps." I reiterated I'm having a panic attack. I paid and asked for a receipt. She seemed miffed about this. It was all really nice, except for the invalidation.

I came to KickHouse with zero kickboxing experience. They welcomed me in, and taught me everything I needed to know! They will show you what kind of gloves to get, and how to wrap your hands properly. The staff is SO friendly and genuine. KickHouse is way more than just a gym, it’s a community!
They also have great personal training! I’ve been working with Julia for the last few months, and I highly recommend her as a trainer! She’s helped me work on my kickboxing form, as well as improve my overall muscle tone. I see very visible results within just the last few months!!
They even have a “Bootcamp” class which is one of my favorites!
I recommend Kickhouse for anyone who is looking for a like-minded fitness community, wanting to improve their fitness level, work with great personal trainers, or even just wanting to try kickboxing out. They have classes of all levels! And they are very welcoming!

I joined Kickhouse in the summer of 2021 to lose weight and get in shape. I found a place that is so much more!!! KickHouse ended up being a part of some major life changes I was going through and also became a place of therapy and healing for me. It is my place to de-stress, lose weight, become stronger, both physically and mentally, and laugh and grow with friends. The instructors are really good at helping you meet whatever your needs and goals might be. I went from hating every type of exercise I ever tried to wanting to kickbox everyday. It has become a love for me, not only for the fitness benefits, but also for how it keeps me mentally sharp, focusing on the combinations. If you haven’t tried it, run, don’t walk, to your local KickHouse (York or Hershey). It could become your place of fitness and therapy, too!!!!

Kickhouse is amazing! The instructors are super friendly, helpful, and patient. I struggled a lot with some of the movements when I first started because I had never tried anything like this before, but over time I’ve gotten better and better and it’s all because of their help! I've been a member since July 2019. I'm 47 years old and this is the first exercise program I've stuck to. I've always lost interest in the gyms I join and even the amazing Peloton I have (I often stop doing it for weeks). But KickHouse is more than my gym, it is my sanctuary. I started going to the gym about a year ago, but no matter what I did, I never seemed to get the kind of workout I felt I needed. In January, I saw an ad for a free class at KickHouse, so I figured I'd try it out. I'd never did kickboxing before, but Julia got me all set up, and put me through my paces for that first class. I left that morning hooked, and now four months later, I'm averaging five classes a week. I get a better, more intense, and complete workout now than I ever had before. The staff, and the other people here are like family. There's a saying at KickHouse. Our House is the best house. Take my word for it, its the truth!

Really enjoy the energy at Kick House.
I was originally nervous to start a new activity, something like kick boxing had an 'intense' reputation in my mind. I was so relieved to show up to such a welcoming atmosphere. All the coaches/staff are very friendly and happy to show you one on one when you are just starting out. The workouts are great, they pack a punch in a short amount of time which has been great for me and my schedule. If you are on the fence and considering, I say go for it!

I was terrified going in my first time because I thought I would look “stupid” because I didn’t know what I was doing but I was SO wrong. The other members and staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. My 2nd class, I was just as nervous because I thought my 1st experience certainly had to be a fluke, but I was wrong. After attending classes here for over a month now, I can honestly say that there has not been a single class that I have regretted. I never thought that I would be disappointed in missing a day of any sort of exercise but I HATE when I miss a day Kick House York.

Kickhouse, York is AMAZING!! I love the family atmosphere and how everyone is so welcoming!! I honestly never seen a workout studio so clean!! The instructors are very energetic and push you to do your best. If your looking for an awesome workout this is defiantly the place you need to be!!!

Great place to let go of your stress! The workouts are great and the instructors are friendly and encourage you to work hard! I was a little nervous the first time I tried it, but they were right there to show me how to properly punch and kick! Also, I’m impressed with the studio...it’s very clean and set up in a way that allows me to focus on my workout and not worry about distancing from others.

Kickhouse York is AMAZING!! The workouts are killer and the FUN never ends. I always leave feeling fit, strong, empowered and HAPPY. You cannot leave there in a bad mood :) The members are supportive and the instructors are phenomenal, always pushing you a little harder each time to be YOUR very best. It's safe, it's sanitized, it's challenging and it's FUN! If you haven't already tried a class, you NEED to! You won't regret it!

I love Kickhouse York PA! I had never kickboxed a day in my life and they made me feel right at home, as soon as I started. The instructors take the time to tell you how to do the moves and point out improvement areas, even if you’ve been here for months! I enjoy all of the people that work here and really feel like I’ve developed a second family. Very personable and genuinely care about you as a person and your fitness goals. Highly recommend!

I love the energy at KickHouse. The instructors are fun and motivating. No workout is the same and I feel energized and ready to start the day. There isn’t much that would get me up at 5:30 for a 6:00 class, but I don’t like missing out and it’s worth it.

KickHouse York is a friendly, welcoming place. The facility is large, modern, open and extremely clean! Their CoVid rules allow for a safe space for all. The instructors are energetic and kind. They will take you to the place you need to be! There’s nothing like their kickboxing and yoga classes to relieve stress and give your body the attention it deserves. Their classes are accessible to everybody. I love this place! It’s like a family.

This studio has completely changed my life. The trainers are amazing and go above and beyond to help us reach our goals. I’ve lost 40 pounds on these mats! I’ve never been able to do push-ups on my toes, and now...I love them! I still have a long way to go on my fitness journey, but I know it’s all possible at KickHouse!

I walked into KickHouse over a year ago, completely tired of being unhealthy both physically and mentally. I was scared of trying something new but knew I needed to change something. I had no reason to be scared.
What I found was a home away from home, a place with the most supportive and encouraging people I have ever met. Physically, KickHouse has helped me lose over 60 pounds now. The greatest benefit though has been in my mindset. This place helps you escape from the chaos of the world and allows you to leave all the emotions on the mat. I am so grateful to have walked through those doors.
