One star for L.A. Fitness corporate as they don't care about the members, the community, or their employees especially at the Franklin Mills location. Within the last week I was informed that the hours of operation was drastically reduced and corporate will be closing this location permanently. I came to this location from the Bensalem location because they don't maintain their racquetball courts, which is the main reason for my membership. Sadly, corporate is only worried about their profits.

I want to give Summer 5 stars for her efforts in keeping the members informed and working to try to improve membership. Kudos to Dawn, who has been here only two weeks and is still positive during interesting interactions with members informing them of the closing.

I joined the La Fitness family at the Neshaminy location a few years ago, however the level of service at the Philadelphia Mills is top shelf. Ryan your new gym GM has been pivotal in creating a welcoming experience as well as Summer and the rest of the stuff. I have lost 80 pounds since I started my journey towards a healthier living and these guys I feel motivated me with there wonderful attitude and positivity. Wish I could do more to let their leads know how valuable they are.

I don't know how Cottman Ave location has better reviews maybe they are from before the management changed a few months ago because Franklin mills location is definitely a nicer environment the staff is nicer and more welcoming they are constantly cleaning there is actually someone in the locker rooms and bathrooms at all times cleaning and stocking... The only downside is yes it is a little outdated compared to the other locations but overall so far best 1 I've been to

This facility is very clean but some of the equipment (cardio machines, weight lifting equipment) is very old/prehistoric. This gym definitely needs a makeover. A lot of the equipment is leftovers from the Bally's era.

Dumpy on the outside. Looked nice on the inside, although some of the machines appeared broken. Very outdated, confusing layout. The (30 year old?) lockers looked like from a high school and were too small to fit my gym bag, a problem which I’ve never had at any other gym. Someone in the locker room mentioned this was the “gym of last resorts” and suggested a place on County Line Rd.

I like this Jim but yesterday 08/28/23 I was one of the last to leave, and I realized that they opened my locker, (it had a padlock) they took my keys and stole my cash and my debit card, I think a place like this is not Those things should happen for the safety of everyone who goes

It is impossible to work out in the early mornings.
There's a guy in 5am with super loud music, banging the weights like an animal, behaving like an animal, and no one from the staff sayd anything.

Great facility to work out not crowded at all no matter what time of the day it is!. The staff members are always polite greeting people coming and leaving. Also has a upstairs indoor track which is probably the only LA fitness with a indoor track! Memberships are also non contact and I love how you can cancel anytime! Glad to find this low key LA fitness with the amazing size and space!

There is no reason for the hot tub to be so disgusting & nasty!!🤢 there is a brown ring around the entire tub. It seems like it has not been cleaned for years!! We pay a lot of money to this gym!!! WHERE IS THE MAINTENANCE FOR THIS PLACE?? Who ever is in charge needs to be fired or demoted!!

I’m disappointed in the way the club has been kept up. I’ve been a member since it was Ballys. Half the cardio machines are not working and have had service has been called for months. Many of the machines, including one abdominal workout have been broken since before COVID. I wonder whether any effort is being put into maintaining this gym. I come here instead of other locations for several of the machines and go to other locations for classes,etc. No other location is as badly maintained.

I love the club old school vibe no pressure. The general manager Anthony was very helpful I recommend signing up with him over the more exclusive clubs in the area. He takes pride in the people he helps and really cares about customer service part of his job. I felt like I had the best experience with my sign up and enjoy walking into a gym that makes me feel special every time I check in. Always welcoming always friendly and the gym and locker rooms are always clean. 10/10 recommend :)

This LA Fitness is in a dire need of an upgrade. All the equipments at this location smell of strong BO and is deteriorating. The free weights area attracts a bunch of flies, probably because the weights have not been cleaned in a long time and smell of decay. Please clean and upgrade this location!

In the past 5 months I noticed a change at the Philadelphila Mills location. A lot more cleaner in detail. And just friendliness in the hole building.
