We were told that students had to buy tickets for the recital; also something that only this school does.
Then found out after the fact that we wasted our money and students did not need tickets at all.

I grew up dancing at this studio and it’s only gotten better. 3 of my kids now dance with them and there’s even adult classes for me to get back out there. The environment is very supportive and positive at all levels. Love our dance family!

I have been dancing at Long’s since I was 5 and absolutely love it. There are so many opportunities to learn new techniques and styles. I left for three years for college and had to come back because of the family feeling and the opportunity to pursue a passion. The show at the end of the year is beautiful with a full production feeling. You will not regret learning how to dance here

I started dancing at Longs when I was 3 and continued until I was 23. Now my two daughters are dancing there and absolutely love it! They are always excited to show me what they are working on and ask if they can go everyday. The faculty treat the kids amazing. They always make sure the kids are having a positive experience while in class. I now take the adult ballet class and it is a wonderful group. The shows are always amazing! They always make sure the students are understanding the steps and take time to make sure each child is learning at their pace. They give each child equal attention so everyone feels included and welcomed. The faculty are always willing to help and go above and beyond to make sure the parents and students have/know everything happening. They are quick to respond if you have questions or concerns. The other parents are wonderful as well. Everyone is so welcoming.

We love Long's School of Dance! Myself as a teen and now my daughters and son all attend at least one of their classes offered. We have been loyal students for 7 years now and don't intend on going anywhere else. We have built longtime friendships and community. I feel confident leaving my children there for class and trust that their well being and safety is Long's number one priority. We participate in the Junior Kung Fu, Junior Tap/Ballet combo, Begginer Irish, Acro in 2 different levels, as well as the Adult Ballet class. Everyone at Long's is like family.

I have been involved with Long’s School of the Dance for over 50 years. My sister did acro there as a child. I was “too uncoordinated” according to my family to dance so I didn’t start until I was in my 20’s. I’m part of the fabulous adult ballet class. We are more like a big family. We work in our dance skills while supporting each other through life. The owners have put their heart and soul into reaching out to the Erie community to keep the art and love of dance alive during the pandemic. If you want a ton of fun, great exercise and great instruction in dance come join the adult ballet and tap on Monday night at 7 pm.

We have been at Long’s for 4 years now with my class for both my daughter and me. It’s been such a fun experience for us both in a highly supportive atmosphere. Through the pandemic they have done everything to keep us dancing including virtual classes and recording us in studio to create a fabulous virtual show. I wanted to share with everyone my dance experience. I am in the Adult Ballet and Adult Tap classes. I took dance when I was a girl and came back 45 yrs later! My granddaughter was also in classes until they moved. I love my dance family. It didn't matter that I had to start over. All of the instructors and students that have been there longer than me were so patient and kind. When I'm stuck all I have to do is ask for some extra instruction and no problem- just come in and I get the extra help I need. The family and staff have worked so hard through the pandemic to make sure the show went on. Not just the big spring show but also the fundraiser Christmas show for the Shriners Hospital. I would encourage anyone who would like to try out a class to come and check it out-no experience necessary!

My boys absolutely LOVE dancing at Long’s! The teachers are all amazing and work so well with the kids. They are also beyond helpful when it comes to finding dance attire and shoes (which can sometimes be a bit difficult for growing boys). I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else! We love it there and plan to continue to dance in the years to come! Plus they have so many convenient locations to choose from!

My daughter has been so blessed to be part of the Long's dance family for 8 years! My youngest will start year one this fall! I would refer any tiny dancer or adult beginner to Longs! My daughter attended Longs last year it was her first year in dance. We were happy to get her signed up for a ballet only class because she really wasn’t interested in the combo classes. She adores her teacher Ms. Jess and as someone who has dance experience I was extremely impressed with the quality of instruction she was receiving. Ms. Jess teaches to every students individual level and she actually teaches the fundamentals of ballet from the beginning. These girls are learning a strong, solid foundation of dance, not just running around and dancing “free style”. The staff is wonderful when I have questions and always polite and helpful anytime I reach out to them. Being able to set up my payments on a recurring monthly basis makes paying tuition a snap, no check to write, no having to remember to mail in a payment, etc. Overall, we have been extremely delighted with Longs and I would recommend them to anyone!

We love Long's School of Dance, which is actually more of a family than a dance school! My daughter Charlotte is starting her fourth year of Irish Dance, and 6th year as a Long's Dancer. Her Irish instructor, Karen Weibel, is like Mary Poppins - practically perfect in every way. She has given Charlotte confidence and skill to be an award winner at regional and national Feis (competitions). The World Irish Dance Association schools in the United States have come to know Long's dancers as well trained, but more important, kind and supportive competitors. I cannot say enough praise for this school.

Several years ago, Long's brought Irish Dance to the studio and opened up even more opportunities. I originally got introduced to dance through my friends that went here, I sat in for about 2 classes and I liked it, so my parents decided to enroll me in it, and it was not a good choice, I had signed up for hiphop and we did about 2 weeks worth of hiphop, then they combined it with an acro class, so I was in a class I wasn't paying for, and I WAS NOT LEARNING WHAT I PAID FOR. very disappointed. Then when we started choreographing we murged our dance with a different group of dancers, (not even from our studio). Needless to say I ended up switching studios after that.

I have had the pleasure of being part of the "Long's Family" for over 20 years. Jay, Lee Ann, Jamie, and Jeremy Long are my second family. If you want the best dance education in Erie, PA, Long's School of Dance is the place to go. I am constantly amazed by the level of expertise presented every year at their dance concert (that is constantly compared to a Broadway level show). Not to mention the training I have received over the years. I am able to attend conventions and Master classes with the World's best and still have full confidence in my ability thanks to the level of training Long's provides.
