greens sucks not matter what speed you hit there’s no break. ranger on 15 tells me to hurry up because there’s people on the tee box even though there are people on the green and we spent more time waiting then playing. as i sit on 16 waiting once again for 10 minutes right now as i write this

Frequent golfer of this course but probably not so much after today. God forbid you book an available tee time and show up on time. Was told I was late but then get to the tee and was still waiting another 5-10 mins for the group ahead? On top of that you have the Karens in the league play thinking they own the course. Overpriced, overbooked, and the course conditions get worse each time. I’ll be taking my slice elsewhere.

Im not sure how you all think it’s fun not being able to see any of your next shots. Paid $75 when I seen $40 courses have better maintenance. Yes it’s unique, but not in a good way.

Played there yesterday. Course was generally in pretty good shape but some of the cart paths are torn up pretty bad. Greens were slower than I expected and some of the tee boxes need work but still a good day on a very challenging course.

No cart girl, no one working at the turn (12pm), no hot dogs in the pro shop, and you can’t order a hot dog at the restaurant unless you’re under 12. I guess disregard the rules and bring your own cooler with drinks and food 🤷‍♂️. Get your shit together management

This course is immaculate. It is kept in pristine condition and it has beautiful views. However, course is very hilly and challenging. Mountain climbers only. I would’ve given the course 5 stars if I didn’t shoot a 111

One of the most unique experiences in golf! Beautiful views, challenging holes, and a fantastic restaurant to grab a drink or food afterwards. The course is gettable to score well after you are familiar with the layout. The staff is friendly and the pro, Jeff, provides excellent customer service and offers lessons that can enhance your game. Right off 78, don't miss the chance to play one of the most fun courses in PA

The course was so lush and green, a real pleasure to play on. It's definitely challenging but in a super fun way, with immaculate views that are just breathtaking. Honestly, I don't think there's another course quite like it in the Lehigh Valley. Plus, lunch in the restaurant after our round was fast and delicious – a perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend!

Tried to book a threesome for sunday.... They told me they only except 2 somes or 4 somes..... And that I should book a 4some and they'll give me a rain check for the other person. You gotta be kidding me..... Are they trying to go bankrupt?

Also, if they only accept 2somes.And 4 somes.... What the heck am I gonna do with the single rain check?

I'll take the review down if they book me for a threesome on sunday.

I had the pleasure of photographing a client’s wedding at this venue back in 2022, and it was an incredible experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, going above and beyond by guiding us to the best photo spots and even driving us there in a golf cart. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and the sunsets are breathtaking, with a perfect view of the city of Easton in the background. Truly a fantastic location for a wedding!

Played here with a group of 4. On the 17th hole around 4:30pm an employee comes up and just starts yelling at us. “This is your guys last hole, we already are in overtime let’s go!” stalls the golf cart and just leaves. The sun is still up doesn’t set for another 35mins, so we played the 18th hole. We paid to play 18. No one ever told use we had a time limit. We had a group of women in front of us all day we played at a fine pace had no one behind us waiting. So I have no clue what this Employees problem was. We get to the 18th green and he comes out on the deck, “I just told you guys 17 was your last hole what are you doing, guess u didn’t hear me” to which I replied “Playing Golf”. If he had just come up to us nicely and said look the suns going down can you guys finish it up here we would have gladly stopped. But you come at us screaming for no reason I’m going to give you attitude back. He wasn’t even man enough to collect our carts just hid away in the clubhouse like a coward. If you didn’t want to be there past 5oclock Walmarts hiring greeters go apply! I wouldn’t hire a person like that to do my laundry.

Played with my daughter and we just loved it!! Views on the back 9 are ridiculous, really interesting and challenging holes. Restaurant was fantastic too.
One (not really a criticism) is there are some holes you can hit a perfect drive and it’s really hard to find your ball, blind shot with crazy undulating fairways, had that happen a few times (hit dead straight drives and could not find the ball).
Overall a wonderful place, will be back!

Jeff Kroboth and his staff have always made myself and my Golf mates feel extremely welcome every time we go there. One of the things that I love about Morgan Hill is that You never know where the pins are going to be, and you never know how far down the fairway that balls in the travel you could be surprised with the amount of distance you get there! Friendly staff and great course. Grueling back nine, which definitely adds some challenge to anyone's round. Overall the course is well maintained, however the tee boxes, especially on the upper holes, tend to be messy, but this can be taken as something that ties back to players not filling their own divots. I do wish there was a better warm-up alternative, as this course does not have a driving range. Highly recommend the Morgan Hill experience to any golfer, especially mid to high handicappers looking for a real challenge!

★ 3

The course is really pretty and really well maintained. It is an extremely challenging course to say the least which was a bit of a turn off.

The biggest issue that my party had was with the guy Tyler in the pro shop. We had the rudest interaction with the guy. There was some beeping going on in the shop from a walkie talkie of his and he asked us “what is this noise.” When we replied that we had no clue what that noise was and that it was something from behind his counter he replied with “How could that be me?” in a really really snarling voice. He had some other rude things to say to us… it could have been him having a bad day but he just treated us extremely poorly.

Aside from him the course is cool, the scenes are amazing, and it’s not busy at all.

Played here on a Sunday in April 2024. The pros: it wasn’t busy which made for a relaxed pace of play. The course layout was also very challenging (probably one of the trickiest courses I’ve played thus far), which kept things interesting. Almost none of the fairways were flat- there were always bunkers to the front of the green, and many of the approach shots had downhill lies. The cons: a couple of the greens were in a state of disrepair- including the par 3 12th hole, which meant getting a GIR didn’t even guarantee a par.

This is a tremendous place to play golf! The beautiful piece of land the course sits on alone gives this place loads of style points. The immaculate property instantly puts Morgan Hill above other courses in the Lehigh Valley area. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens are always in fantastic shape and the course maintenance team does a commendable job, no matter the time of year. The bunkers surrounding the Par 3 9th hole have just recently been renovated and look better than ever! I think the best part about playing here is that the golf course never plays the same twice. After your round, I highly recommend giving The View a try. I have never had a bad meal there. They serve top-notch food and drinks, which is always a perfect way to cap off a great day on the links. If you haven't given "The Hill" a try for yourself, get up here and check it out!

My group of four played this course today and loved the course, the maintenance and the weather HOWEVER the “director of golf”, as Mr. Jeff Kroboth titled himself, continued to come out on the course to tell us we weren’t moving quick enough. Sorry but we also had a group in front of us and our group of 4 was playing teams. I have never been to a course where the “director of tee times” came out multiple times to tell us we were playing too slow. We finished 17 minutes behind quota and the back nine had no one behind us until the 16th hole. I used to love this course in the past but we WILL NOT ever come again until the actual director lets Mr. Jeff go! Hopefully, if you visit this course, you won’t have the same experience!

Edit since Morgan Hill’s response:
It’s not exactly about the pace of play (although we weren’t playing that behind since we had to wait and were enjoying our paid round of golf), it’s the way Mr. Jeff came out to voice his “authority”. During his visit, we attempted to explain that we were waiting the first 4 holes but Mr. Jeff didn’t want us to talk, given his hand roll. More so, when we ended the first 18 to play another 9, Mr. Jeff made the comment into the air “You guys finally made it back”. He is extremely rude and has no courtesy. I am employed in a government servant job and go above and beyond to make the public satisfied when I can. No wonder his employment history is the way it is…

I got this on a group golf special. I'm not a great golfer 90 to 100. But there were so many places that needed maintenance for a high level course. But clearly some money need to be brought back into the course.

Course "used to be" great...views and the variety of holes still are but the conditions are AWFUL. Burnt out fairways, tee boxes in disrepair (also burning out) and greens are more like velcro and the fringe / collar rather than a true putting surface!! Don't bother playing here as I certainly will not be returning!!!

Bummed to give it this score, since we were pumped to play it for the first time as part of AGT tour.

The good: really nice staff, from the pro to starter to the halfway house. Some beautiful views and challenging tee shots.

The unfortunate: we were slotted in between a shotgun outing. The staff can’t control the clientele (slow is putting it nicely) but the staff can and should have notified us after making the tee time that we would run into an outing after 9 holes. To drive over an hour and then the back 9 take 3 hours is just poor customer service.

Why I wouldn’t play again: the greens. You just can’t charge a weekend rate like that and run greens at 6 on the stimpmeter. I would pay much more and stick w Turtle Creek, Jeffersonville, etc. on any weekends.

SO disappointed. Haven’t played the course in quite a few years and forgot how difficult the course was. Too many blind shots for starters. We’ve played many difficult courses and that’s never bothered us, but at least if the course is fair you might be rewarded for a good shot. Not today, not here. The course was in lousy shape….tee box to green. The only really great thing about it was the extraordinary scenery. Again, so very disappointed.

Morgan Hill is a fun and challenging golf course. The current conditions of the course make it hard to give better than a 2 star, though. I understand the draught causing the green to have bare spots, but the tee boxes look like they have not been cared for in weeks. Barely any grass to hit off and just a complete mess. Also, still paying $70 the same week the greens are aerated and not being told about it before the round was rather disappointing. Definitely not a $70 course in its current condition. My group was also one of maybe 4 groups on the course when we played and were being pressured by the marshal even though there was no group behind us. Yes, we were playing slow, but we could play slow since there was no other group in front or behind us. Between the marshal and the condition of the greens and tee boxes, I can't give the course a great review.

Played last weekend. Challenging layout and not everyone like severe elevation change but I enjoyed challenge. Can't give more than 3.8star for now since greens need much attention. Beautiful course. Insanely tough, much harder than it's rating would suggest. Almost every fairway is highly undulated, so even if you hit a great shot, you may have a tough lie. Elevation changes here are a big deal too, so get ready to practice distance control on most shots. This course consistently kicks my butt.... but that's what makes it fun. Not to mention, some of the most beautiful views you'll see on a course in the area, particularly the 16th green. Always a treat, even when it chews you up and spits you out.

I’ve played Morgan Hill at least 10 times over the last few years and, even with having to drive over an hour to get there, it is hands down my favorite course. It’s always in great shape, it’s very challenging and the views, especially on the back 9, are incredible! (Even more so as the leaves start to change colors.) However, I will admit that based off the most recent reviews, I was a little worried as to what the course would look like. Couldn’t be further from the truth. The course was in great condition. The tee boxes and greens were perfect. A couple fairways did have a brown spot here and there, but any reasonable person can understand that this would happen due to the extreme lack of rain we had this summer. Another week or so and all of that should be cleared up. Thanks for another great day Morgan Hill, hopefully we’ll be able to get back there before the season ends this year but if not, we’ll see you next year.

Don’t be fooled by the reviews. This is the worst kept golf course in the state and possibly country. 0 service. 0 upkeep. Do yourself a favor and never play here

New management (since April 2022) has eliminated to option to walk the course. I was not made aware of this by the starter and was forced to leave the course after 6 holes. Note that my group had been waiting on the group in front of us on every hole we played.

This course is BY FAR the worst conditions I have ever had to play. The fairways look like they haven’t been watered or treated in 3-4 seasons. The car paths are broken up and falling apart. The greens are so soft your feet sink if you weigh more than 130lbs. The “boss” or head guy is not good at customer service. There is NO beverage cart! The bathrooms smelled like pee and carts has dried up beer or soda left in the cup holders. The rough was easier to play out of then the fairways. The “blower guy” who was cutting grass the whole four hours we were there was inconsiderate and was blowing while we were on the green putting. The food (I mean what food) was horrible. The hot dogs are boiled and gray. All the condiments were out so the bottles were empty. I wish I could have gave this place a zero but the ONLY good thing about this course is maybe the backs 9s view of Easton. That’s it!!! This course isn’t worth a penny over $30 for 18 holes. Can’t believe I had to pay $52. Please take this review serious. Go any where else but here!

This was my second time at the course. The first time, I thought it was okay. Too many blind shots off the tee for me. With no other tee times available in the morning in the area, I decided to go with Morgan Hill. This time, the course was an absolute mess. The fairways are mostly long grass or dried brown grass, the greens are torn up. Most of the tee boxes are the same as the fairways. Dead grass and just chewed up. I want to say it’s because of the drought, but no other course I’ve played this season is in as terrible of shape. I will not be returning. The course was $52 on a Friday morning. It’s barely worth $35.

This course provided the worst golf experience I’ve had in over 30 years of playing golf. Lousy layout, poorly maintained track, rude employees. The entire course was burned brown. Hardly a green blade of grass. Mountain courses like this one are usually lots of fun. But this course is lacking in all facets relative to the mountain courses in Virginia, Tennessee, western North Carolina, and Colorado. Pace of play is too slow because most shots are blind shots and too much time is wasted looking for balls even on shots right down the middle. Won’t be coming back, obviously. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Play elsewhere. Find a course worth your while.

Yikes. There are a lot of courses in Lehigh Valley. Choose any of them, except Morgan Hill. The only thing worse than the shape of the course is the attitude of the staff.

There’s no situation I can think of in which you’d ever choose to play this course with all the the options in the area.

There’s a drought right now, but every course in Lehigh Valley is better maintained.

We were 12 minutes behind the pace of play (the whole course is in horrible shape so it’s tough to find your ball, and you you’ll play slow too.) Despite that, the course staff (Dan/Tom or something along those lines) came by and asked us to skip a hole. The attitude was rude and his tone was embarrassing. I haven’t experienced this in 20+ years and hundreds of rounds of golf.

There are hundreds of courses in the area. Do yourself and the rest of your foursome a favor — choose any other course. If gold at Morgan Hill was free, I’d still play anywhere else in the valley.

Course is very dry but thats pretty much everywhere. Greens had a lot of disease spots. Pace of play was horrendous. We drove over an hour to play and only got in 8 holes before we left. They really need a ranger on the course!!! Probably never go back.

It's been a number of years since I played Morgan Hill but decided to get out for a quick 9 holes this evening. As many of the reviewers have mentioned in the past couple weeks, the course is in rough shape right now. I can't fault the management as most courses in the valley are burnt out and dry in spots because of the lack of rain and high heat. This can be a very difficult track for a novice golfer. If you are new to the game and you aren't able to play with someone that has been around "The Hill" before I would recommend bringing a lot of cheap balls or look to play somewhere less demanding if you get easily frustrated. Level lies are few and far between, lies in some of the rough can be very penal, and if you have a crooked tee ball it could easily end up OB in someones yard. It's a great test of golf for better players to expose the flaws and really take inventory of their game. I couldn't give 5 stars because while I sympathize with the course management over the lack of rain, the current full price rates are not commensurate to the current condition of the course. Especially since the greens were also just recently aerated. If think a temporary relaxing of the rates to reflect the conditions would go a long way.

Played there this morning. Spent $52 per person to play. I was expecting much more from the course. First, they made us start on hole 11 which is not a big deal but then had to deal with multiple holes that were running sprinklers on the tee box. The greens were horrible with multiple dead spots and rough spots. Not a $52 course at all. I am visiting from out of town and this is 5 minutes from where I am staying so although the course was not in good shape I figured I would try to book a time for Saturday. When I went online to book, I saw there weekend prices are $70!!!! I am from Pittsburgh and maybe are spoiled out there but I never paid $52 or $70 to play a course where the greens are beat up and the course management is not in sync with the maintenance of the course. If you want to see some sights and money is not an issue than you will be pleased, but if you are a golfer that is looking for a good course and in good condition to have a round, find a different place to play.

One of the must got to courses in Leigh Vally. Such a competitive to test any great golfer. From hole 1 to hole 18 there is all kinds of challenges with a memorable day. Once you are done playing you will have no choice to go inside the club house to the “The View” restaurant. The food is outstanding with great views during the year on the patio! Go check it out!

I love playing at Morgan hill. If you want a challenging course while having a good time, look no further. Some of the most breath taking views you will experience here when on the back nine. It’s not often that I get to use all the clubs in my bag, but I do at Morgan hill. The staff are friendly and professional. The restaurant has some of the best food in Easton ! I've played here twice and the first time was very enjoyable and challenging . The second time not so much the rough was insanely high and you couldn't even find your ball if you missed the fairway or green by a yard. It was very frustrating for every group, the round was extremely slow for that reason.

Course conditions - average at best
Sand traps need significant work and some areas in the fairway were burnt out
Pack extra balls the rough eats them up and it’s difficult to locate your shots because of the steep hills - hitting a fairway won’t guarantee the balls stays there with all the hills
Many shots are above or below your feet increasing the difficulty of the course
Greens were way to soft making simple putting unrealistically challenging
Course tip: playing aggressively will cost you dearly
Lastly - pace of play - 5 hour round -

Always a fun course, harder the better, personally but there always seems to be something up. For instance bunkers have been in shambles for years and still are (not a secret) and apparently they air-raided the greens recently??...its the beginning of August! A little fair warning would have been great considering this is not typical timing in the NE for air-raiding greens.

Update: I apparently missed any posting about the aeration. This course's greens are usually in great shape otherwise. Food at the View is also great and we make it a point to grab a bite after our round.

Very challenging and interesting course. Lots of uneven lies and blind shots.
Very scenic course and in great shape. Would not reccomend for the casual golfer as it is quite a challenge for experienced golfer. My only complaint was that the rough was PGA level height. Lost balls that would run off fairway into rough as so deep and dense ball would disappear. 19th hole very nice outdoor patio with excellent food. Not heavily played course and would assume it's because of the degree of difficulty

Well.. this is the second time I have play at Morgan Hill. What a difference from the last time.
Conditions were terrible. Many burned out fairways or some kind of deasiese. Bunkers need a lot of work. Poor drainage. Weeds, abandoned tee boxes.

#2 back tee... gone..

Slow play.. that a bad thing. People who cannot play should pickup.

The owner needs to look hard at who is running this place as you took a gem and buried it. At least the greens were in good shape except for the poor soles who do not fix ballmarks.

Not sure I can spend hard earned money on this again.

Decent course. It's very difficult first time out, as there are a lot of blind shots and difficult hills to deal with. Fortunately the golf carts include GPS which helps immensely. Just be sure to take it slow over the speed bumps on 12!

Update: played the courses again and found it to be a middling to poor experience. Quite a few fairways were in poor shape. The starter seemed clueless, just sending people out at random, so we ended up teeing off late. There is ZERO pace of play enforcement. The group in front of us put us 40 minutes behind pace, so we were forced to skip a hole to have any chance at finishing the round. Did not see a course Marshall once. I would not recommend to any golfer to visit this course. Between the pace of play, the absurd difficulty of some holes, and poor conditions, it does not make sense to play. My 3 star review is generous.
