About a year ago, I started going to Movement Source for private Pilates lessons. I was so incredibly nervous, especially because I'm hypermobile, but I really had no reason to worry. All the staff at Movement Source are really receptive to what I have to say about what does and does not feel good for my body, are quick to make exercises accessible to me, and on top of it all they are so supportive and welcoming. And after a year of doing private lessons, and about eight months of doing mat classes, I can't begin to tell you how much stronger I feel in my body. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself to start going to Movement Source sooner.

I absolutely love this studio, especially the private classes on the reformer. All the instructors are extremely knowledgeable and have tailored my sessions to my fitness goals and working through any physical issues I might have, like lower back pain or tight hips. This past year I added foam roller classes. It’s been a great way to release muscle tension. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Highly recommended -- Kelly and her team are incredibly knowledgeable instructors. I've learned more about my body and how to take care of it here than any other fitness studio I've ever been a part of, and the classes are the right mix of challenging and supportive. This is truly a space for whole-body movement, health, and wellness.

I had been searching for years to find my way back into health and wellness and booking my first Pilates lesson with Kelly was the best decision I’ve made in a long time! This studio is a fantastic, clean, safe space for anyone looking to get into the world of Pilates. I was a complete beginner with the equipment/fundamentals and have only felt patience and encouragement. I always leave feeling better than I came in. Highly recommend!!

I attended 2 classes here- one mat class and one foam roller class. The mat class was just ok and in my opinion the foam roller class was more of a recovery class than a workout- so it really just depends on what you’re looking for. My gripe with Movement is the lack of open spots for the classes. It’s extremely hard to schedule if it isn’t more than a week+ out. I think at this point they may have stopped accepting new clients but that should have been done a long time ago to make classes more accessible for the current clients. I can’t confidently recommend this studio.

I've been going to Movement Source since it opened. Each time it has been a great experience. The instructors are very knowledgeable and they tailor my session to my specific needs. The studio is very clean and the equipment is state of the art. Highly recommend. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

It's tricky for me to find a really good pilates class (I have scoliosis so I need extra input and some adaptations to correctly do the movements) but Movement Source checks all the boxes so far!
Kelly is SO attentive and knowledgeable -- I personally love folks who you can TELL love the work they do and share the why and how of things as you go along (in a helpful way!)
Thanks for a great intro session, Kelly, and I will certainly be back!

A little slice of heaven on Passyunk Ave. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! All the instructors are amazing--knowledgeable and caring. The whole place just exudes acceptance and positivity. I’ve been coming to Movement Source for the last few months for private sessions with Kelly and Kate, and recently I’ve been trying the small group classes too. Each time, I look forward to my appointment, and I always have such a good time that it doesn’t even feel like a workout (but I assure you it is). Each session is tailored to what I need that day, which is so nice and supportive.
I’ve been doing Pilates for most of my adult life, and Movement Source does not disappoint. The instructors are well trained, and so friendly. I highly recommend checking them out!

I started Pilates at Movement Source over 6 years ago, to assist recovering from spinal surgery. Kelly and the other instructors have been integral to helping me manage my pain, gain strength and flexibility, and develop confidence in how I move. Thanks to Movement Source my quality of life has improved dramatically, and I owe it to the caring, expert instruction that I've gotten from Kelly and the other instructors.

I'm really enjoying my one-on-one sessions! I LOVE Donna, but I just had Kelly yesterday and she was SO great too! I think these sessions are a perfect compliment to my other workouts as well as functional movement in everyday life.

I'm in my early 70s and credit Movement Source for helping me become much stronger and more flexible. I've been a client for 2 years and have taken private classes with just about every practitioner. Donna is my regular instructor and she tailors the sessions to my weaknesses and areas of need. She is really excellent. But, they are all great in their own way. Each have their own style so I'm always learning something new and it's never routine. I highly recommend Kelly and her team. Their care and attention are exceptional. And the studio is next to a bakery! LOL. Hey, you worked out! No guilt.

I've been coming to Movement Source for 5 years now? Wow! And I've had classes from most of the instructors and have done both group and private classes. Movement Source is fun, safe, and welcoming. The emotional support Movement Source provides is rare in the fitness/health industry. Give them a try, particularly if you have hangups: injuries, insecurities, sensitivities. I can't believe how much more confident, strong, and healed I am after coming to Kelly with all my injuries 5 years ago!

Kelly is the best of the best! She takes such a gentle yet direct guided approach to Pilates. Every single time myself and my husband finish her class we feel stronger, longer and less tense. I’ve been attending classes at Movement Source for over 3 years now and I can honestly say they have helped me tremendously. Kelly is such a wonderful instructor who listens to the individual concerns and goals of her students and dedicates time to everyone. Kate makes getting up early on a Saturday for class so worth it! The classes offered are engaging, challenging, and most importantly they are fun. Incorporating movement in this way has reduced my back and neck pain while elevating my own awareness of my posture and spinal alignment. I highly recommend Movement Source to anyone looking for a wonderful studio to practice pilates in!

A group of us went to a beginner Pilates class. Kelly was very patient with us. She analyzed our strengths and planned our exercises accordingly. Very cozy studio. I would highly recommend this studio.
