This climbing gym is amazing. I just recently started climbing (over a month at this point) and because of the awesome ladies and gentlemen that work here they made the experience stellar.

I was very apprehensive to try climbing (because you know heights) the knowledge of their staff, safety protocols, and the community at large made my first and continued experiences an amazing start to a new workout routine and entertaining hobby.

Nothing beats the hometown community feel of this gym. It’s personal, helpful, clean, welcoming, and safe. If you ever have considered climbing you should start here and if you are an existing climber it’s worth the investment of a membership.

We took a large group of Cub scouts to this gym. I wasn't sure that we were going to be able to handle so many children at the same time. I was extremely impressed by how professional they were. They stepped in when they really didn't have to and help to teach and encourage the youngest of our pack. I highly recommend this gym to anybody there's looking for an amazing experience.

Our second or third time here. Everyone is polite, accommodating, and respectful. Someone is always around if you have questions or need assistance. Maybe we’re just lucky, but the other climbers are always very kind and helpful. Could be the culture, but the lid establishment clearly has the proper values and we will continue to recommend it to our friends and family. Prices are fair and affordable. You won’t regret picking this business for your climbing needs.

Small but awesome climbing gym. The bouldering grades are on the tough side, closer to outdoor grades. The route setters have done a great job, they were very fun puzzles. I normally climb at a Gravity Vault with fun Comp Style (dyno) routes. North Summit’s more traditional bouldering problems made this a fun and challenging change. If I come back to this area I will absolutely go back.
Oh and staff were super friendly.
I normally climb v3-v4 at Gravity Vault. At North Summit I was having fun on the V1-V2 and the occasional V3-V5

Place was small but felt large with plenty of options and levels of climbing. I did not climb but my 26 yr old and 14 yr old participated. They received instruction and gear. They felt comfortable as beginners to try different levels. Both said they would do it again! Staff was very friendly and helpful 😊 10/10‼️

We had a great time! Climbed 5.6 to 5.12b. The grading is not soft; they’re real “outdoor grades”. The route-setting was very thoughtful. When you climb harder grades, it’s rare having so much fun on indoor 5.7 to 5.10 that you actually want to climb everything. The movement on the climbs was that good. You also get a lot of variation in climbing styles and types—technical slab to powerful overhang. What is more, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the crowd was easy to talk to too. As an experienced climber, I can say this place is small but packs a punch. When I’m in the area, I come back every chance I get.

Took my 3and half year old granddaughter there and instructor was very patient with her even though no matter what wall she was climbing she wanted another wall. Great environment and really sparks her adventurous nature and trust. She went pretty high too..I get a 1 star rating cause I didn't bring cash to tip the instructor 🙁.

It was my first time ever going rock climbing with my wife. If was a great experience. From when they answered the phone to book. They answered all my wife’s question, polite, and helpful. When we arrived they engaged immediately, welcoming, clean. Guidance was concise, direct and clear. Once we were ready to climb the instructor (the owner, my apologies can’t remember her name) was so patient and kind. Her instructions where clear. My wife of course was a natural I was not. She not once made me feel like a was dumb but just had patience and guided me through. She did not leave us alone until she was comfortable and we were comfortable alone. It was great. Recommending for anyone that once to do this at least once to go.

As a last minute idea on our way leaving the Poconos we decided to try out rock climbing and found North Summit through a Google search. Reserving a time just took a few clicks on my phone and although we arrived 30 mins before our time the staff welcomed us in and walked us through the entire process and got us started early. For less than the cost of a pair of Vans we got shoes, harnesses, and a full instructional class. Once we learned we were free to climb the entire area and the staff continued to be encouraging, helpful, and supportive as we pushed ourselves to climb multiple routes and even try some bouldering. Despite our early start time we were able to stay and climb longer than originally booked thanks to the generosity of the staff and space availability.
The staff were kind and seemed genuinely interested in seeing us all succeed at any climb we tried. Even trying to climb the paths themselves to help us figure out the best grips and routes. I highly recommend it for couples, families, or groups. Some other places I found limited climbers to a max weight of 250lbs but North Summit has no limit and although I am a big guy at 275lbs I felt safe and secured despite being belayed by someone 100lbs lighter. I will be going again!

Our third time here. The whole place was just redone by the new owners - it's really nice now! Good value for the price. Climbing walls must be close to 40' high. Clean space. The foam floor is new. Lots of fun and challenging routes to climb, from beginner to expert. We had so much fun we bought T-Shirts!

This place has a lot of different routes and lots of angles. It accommodates from inexperienced climbers to experienced climbers up to about a 5.11. staff are amazing experienced climbers. Overall it's a great place to hang out until a guy with tattoos claimed the business would be going out of business soon and how he knows more than everybody there put together. That's the only attitude I didn't like. So if you go you might want to go when he's not around unless you like arrogant people.

I remember just showing up with my cousin about 2 years ago just checking the place out.... we got hooked. The staff is great, members are friendly, and overall the gym is very positive. Music selection at times is questionable (may make you want to fall asleep). Because it's a smaller a gym they do switch routes up so membership is encouraged. As the owner will tell you his secret to the place. Buy holds and set routes. The shop is excellent as well so you can try some gear before you buy with expert advice.

Pro-tip: Hang around for boulder league after new year. It's intended to bring in new climbers with a handicap system. I met some great people and had some great times. Nice thing about boulder league, you one have to show up once a week to participate whenever the gym is open to work with your schedule.

Downside to the gym, it's a hike to get there depending on where you live. It's worth ignoring the Doylestown gym and the Reading gym however.

A fantastic rock climbing gym with routes/problems that are updated on a weekly basis in addition to the fact that they actually clean their holds! While these are fantastic points, what really sets this climbing gym apart is it dedicated members & staff, who are incredibly welcoming and extremely helpful regardless if you are a pro or a first time climber!
