Physical Development Center is a 10,000 sq ft private training facility, located in Warminster, Pennsylvania. Home to over 500 athletes and 20+ local teams, PDC is Bucks County’s premier sports performance training center. PDC also offers youth and adult fitness programs, as well as, Rock Steady Boxing (A non-contact boxing program for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease). No matter your age or experience, we have a program that can help you reach your goals.

We had my daughter’s 7th birthday party over the weekend, and it was a hit! All the kids had a blast, and my daughter said it was her best birthday ever! Melissa was very helpful, and lent a hand through out the whole party. She was great, the place was great! Highly recommend if you have a group of kids with a lot of energy!

PDC has been an excellent addition to my sons tennis training! The time to focus on speed, agility and strength has been great for his tennis and his confidence. Andrew gives clear, concise instruction (important for an 11-yo IYKYK) with immediate feedback and correction. While technical, the class remains fun and engaging. Outside of the training, I have found both Andrew and Melissa to be excellent communicators and easy to work with as a parent.
They are also clearly committed to the community through volunteer work with local cub packs and work with other nonprofits. This is always so wonderful to see in a small business. I applaud their over-and-above efforts in this regard!
I would not hesitate to recommend this facility and these trainers to youth athletes; both the private and group training sessions offer great value.

My dad attended RockSteady Boxing classes through Physical Development Center. From the beginning, we felt welcome. The classes provided my dad an opportunity to connect with other people with Parkinson's, but they talked about everyday stuff. It was really good for him. I loved what PDC did for my dad so much, I joined the staff. It's a family for sure.

Rock steady boxing at PDC is exceptional. The coaches care and modify exercises to accommodate boxers in all stages of Parkinson's disease. They offer 1 on 1 training with greater focus on individual needs

A diagnosis of PD is an ominous experience. Most of us struggle with next steps to cope with the disease. Rock Steady has been a great program, focused on physical and mental well-being The instructors are terrific as is the facility. Rock Steady has been a critical step to help live well while fighting PD.

This place is fantastic and has made such a positive change in my life. I’ve been taking semi-personal training sessions with Melissa at Physical Development Center, and I can’t recommend it enough! After doing all sorts of group classes, I had hit a plateau in my fitness journey and wasn’t seeing results anymore. Melissa’s personalized workout plans, thoughtful diet suggestions, and encouragement have completely changed that. I’ve made serious gains in strength and overall fitness—even as a busy mom of three young children! The group is welcoming, friendly, and motivating, which makes every session enjoyable. My 12 year old has been involved with the Youth Sport Performance training for the past few months & has made noticeable progress in his endurance & strength as well as pushing him mentally as an athlete. The classes are engaging and catered to his ability. He especially likes working with Andrew, who not only tells him when he is working out incorrectly but also explains why & what he can do to correct himself in a patient & encouraging way. The unlimited monthly program is a great deal as well. Highly recommend PDC!!!

We loved the summer program at PDC. All 3 of my kids enjoyed learning new sports, working together and just being kids. We also had their birthday party there, which was stress free for us because of how easy Melissa made it. Highly recommend!

We have explored several gyms with a focus on sports performance for athletes. Physical Development Center has a number of positives. Surprisingly, my youngest who we added into summer training almost as an afterthought and who we thought might not like the program, had the best time and showed the most growth. He attended the classes for ages 7-12. My older two athletes participated in the Sports Performance classes. Nothing but positives to say about the trainers: knowledgeable, great connection with kids/young adults of all ages, able to adapt as needed. I think the biggest strength of the program is the weight training and instruction. My high school athlete helped select where to train this summer and felt this location had the better equipment selection. I observed trainers who taught proper technique and helped younger athletes become comfortable with the equipment as well. The only weakness was that the speed and agility component is a little light for soccer players. But this is not a complaint. We knew there would only be 30 minutes of speed and agility training, including the warm-up, and we are realistic about how much can be accomplished in that time. They do well with the time available, but soccer players are used to a lot of sprinting, acceleration drills, etc.

Highly recommend!!! Had my daughter’s first birthday party here and the kids had a blast! Melissa was so easy to work with and so accommodating. Great space and worth every penny!! Check it out for all your kid party needs!!! A few kids that came are now going to take a few classes too!

We had my daughters 5th birthday here in May and it was hands down the best party! My daughter said it was the best birthday party ever, my oldest even said we had to come back for every birthday party! The parents raved that it was perfect for the kids to run around and get their energy out! My kids and the others definitely didn’t want to leave! Melissa was so much help with planning and always very responsive when I asked questions. Once everyone arrived, they got all the kids engaged in fun games- I paid extra for the inflatables so if a child felt shy or overwhelmed they could go do something else till they felt comfortable to join the group. It really was perfect for the age group and I’m sure even for younger and older as well! All my kids will definitely be back, I plan on signing them up for some classes in the summer time!

My son Cole whose 2 years old loved the 7 week camp at PDC. It was a great way for us to be active as a family and expose him to all the sports to see what he liked more than others. We found out he loves all the sports but took to soccer more! Coach Melissa and the other coaches are great and so patient with the kids. I think this program is great and was so excited they had something for the 2 year old age bracket!

Melissa ran my daughter's 8th birthday party - 20+ girls and it was soooo fun! She played games with them, let them run around and use all sorts of equipment. In the two hours there, they played tag, did obstacles, reaction/reflex games, ate pizza, had cake, and more. Would definitely recommend!

I could not be happier that I made the decision to start training sessions with Melissa at PDC! Coach Andrew is great!! I have been training at pdc for about a year now, and I really enjoy it. Coach Andrew makes working out fun and enjoyable, and gives you the motivation to work out each week. I was never a big fan of the gym, but after starting my first class with Andrew, I couldn’t wait to come back the following day. I've been training with Melissa for a few months now and have seen steady improvement in my health and ability to do things I wasn't able to before. I started out doing a plank on the wall and am now able to do a "normal" plank and hold it. The one on one training is great. Every workout is catered to my needs and abilities. Melissa is good at listening to me when I tell her that I can't do something because my knees won't cooperate. She knows my limits and knows when she can push me a little harder. I've seen great improvements in myself and very happy I found this gym. They have it set up so that you are in the gym alone with your trainer or with a very small amount of other people. it's never too crowded and they are great about cleaning all the equipment after someone has been using it.
