The staff is always friendly and helpful. I used to give it a 5 but the new equipment is terrible. It is difficult to use, some off balanced, broken already, I t’s all to jammed together and people stand around individual machines as a group so you can never use them. Need to expand into next building, add sauna and expand weight selection. I’ve been going to a different PF lately because of this.

Planet fitness Edinboro rd. Erie PA allows men to walk around naked in the women's locker room. This is very uncomfortable for women and unfair. Provide a private area for those men that want to be women please!

I have been coming to this Planet Fitness for nearly (5) years. I don't live near this one since I'm from NY. However, the recently remodeled the whole gym and I feel they done away with a lot of equipment I used to use. Plus, they got rid of the 30 min workout room which I felt very upset. Plus, plenty of abs work out machines & leg work out machines as well. I just don't agree with what they did and feel they should revert back to what it was. Oh well! Maybe it's time for me to find another club.

This location is AMAZING!! I would give it 10 stars if I had the option. This was my second location to try in Erie Pennsylvania and my LAST! Pro tip stay clear of the Erie plaza location unless you're of a certain "class" so to speak..the entire location is entirely discriminatory.
Upon arrival I was greeted by Lou one of the most hard working amazing managers I have encountered in my travels across the United States! I am transgender and a van lifer and she made me feel so welcomed I can't even begin to explain it!. I also have a service animal and the staff has been nothing but accepting of us both.
I moved from Texas to Erie and after a week of purely positive experiences with this location I switched it to my home gym. It is always kept extremely clean and organized no matter what time of day or night. My ONLY negative opinion of this location is that it's not truly 24/7. I mean come on guys covid has BEEN OVER why do we have to continue to suffer and I'm sure staff would love more hours 🤷 ok well this was my two cents on this location lol. I LOVE IT HERE!!

P.S they're also very friendly to van lifer and even truck driving members. This location has a HUGE parking lot that is its own independent lot. If you treat their property with respect then they'll treat you with kindness and respect. You should be doing it anyway anywhere you go tjo right 🤷

This place was disgusting. The gentleman at the front desk didn't even say hello because he was to busy playing on his phone. They bathroom obviously was just cleaned with their eyes closed because they left the sign that the floors were wet. I was visiting this area and stopped to use this facility. I can guarantee that if this would have been the first time visiting a Planet Fitness I would not have joined the gym. Just walking into the entrance way was a mess. I live in an area were we also get snow and use salt in our parking lots and never once have our entrance way or gym look like that. I am attaching pictures so maybe the owners, workers and the members will take better pride in their gym.

Good amount of space I like the functional training area. I have the black card and I can always get in the red light room pretty quickly however, I wish they would turn this garbage music down, playing Nicki Minaj or some other trash. I don’t want to have to have my volume up to level 10 just to drown out this crappy ghetto music And I think most people would agree. Wish they had two red light rooms. And also a bigger free weight area. Way too many treadmills and ellipticals. They could get rid of 1/4th of them to make more space for free weight area. Extremely crammed.

The bathroom is absolutely disgusting. Pubic hair all over. So much urine all over the floor. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned since I came in for a tour yesterday. If I knew this is how it looks at 1030pm I wouldn't have gotten a membership. I couldn't even sit on any of the only 3 toilets. Do better!

Last year I was working out minding my own business a group of punks started posing it in the mirror right in front of me. One of the reasons I go to planet fitness was because I really don't care to see that and two their policy does not allow it supposedly. So very politely I had asked them if you wouldn't mind stepping aside and not doing that in front of me, I thought that was the end of it. After that day time after time I'd come in the gym I could see the punks staring in my direction and looking away and talking about me which is okay, but what not is okay is that now one of those punks is an employee and I caught him now twice talking to two different people about me behind the counter. Unfortunately what has happened at this planet fitness is people get hired their friends come to the gym and nobody wants to push the honk button anymore because they're afraid feelings might get hurt and everybody is just friends with everybody so that makes it okay? I'm good enough knowing that these little punks can talk about me all they want behind my back cuz they don't have the balls to do it to my face that being said it is very unprofessional to be doing it behind the counter completely noticeable and it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to look in the cameras and see what they're doing. I'm a local business owner here in town and unfortunately when you have a bunch of kids running an establishment that has no business being ran by kids this is what you end up with. It's very sad and disrespectful! On top of that they're repair time to get something fixed is unexcusable. There's no possible way you could have a gym that size with all that equipment with all the people being in and out and not have the accessibility to have someone fix a machine within 24 hours. Cable machines are one of the most vital pieces of equipment in the gym sometimes one two three weeks to get one piece of equipment fixed is completely laughable. But what's funny is establishments like this will look at the customer and blame us because we have a problem with it. We are why the doors stay open! Ok I'm back same day and guess what an employee behind the counter that was nice as day to me before now won't even say hi, this was one of the employees I could visibly see I was being talked to about. I'm wondering if that is policy! Then I see some mullet head that works there flexing in mirror. Even employees can't follow policy! They just don't understand how totally stupid they make themselves look. I'm hoping the owner reads this post and takes a good hard look at what's going on at this location with the employees. As far as I can see management is very nice there but they would be clueless as if something was going on behind their back and when that happens it's not their fault but unfortunately doesn't make them look good as employees are breaking policy up and down the chalkboard. This childish behavior is not cool I will continue to call it out as it comes my way. 🇺🇸

Great gym good for 18 wheeler drivers use to be a Toys “R” Us so they changed it into Planet Fitness. You can park in the back by the loading dock and it’s not too far from a flying J thank you, Planet Fitness truck drivers try not to leave any trash because they are truck driver friendly

My favorite location to be regularly attending by far! Not once have I come in without being welcomed by staff, or left without being told to have a great night even when they are working on other tasks. Everything is kept clean and well stocked, and everyone is very happy to help with any questions.

Great gym! I was in town from California visiting a loved one in the hospital in Erie, so I was feeling bummed out. Decided to try and get a workout in, so I found this Planet Fitness and dropped in.

Front desk staff was super helpful and helped me get a trial pass, and I had a great workout. Gym was clean, equipment was good, and didn't feel too crowded. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town!

I wanted to give a big shoutout specifically to Devin Booher, who was amazing on the phone while helping me fix an issue with my account while I’m across the country. Devin has great customer service and is just such a genuinely good person, and made me feel comfortable while solving this issue. While my specific issue couldn’t be solved while across the country, Devin switched my home club to the one near me so they could solve it for me (which they didn’t, so I will definitely be switching back out of sheer stubbornness, because Devin is much nicer than the new gym staff). This was by far the best planet fitness I've ever been to. I am sad that I will only get to enjoy it when I am in the area. It was SO clean! great club, only downside i find being a heavier lifter is they need 100 lb dumbbells b/c many of us easily use the 75's for everything and would like heavier to progress more. but in terms of equipment, cleanliness and overall atmosphere, gotta say that this facility is really nice!

I’ve been going to the Edinboro location for about 6 months now. I typically go early mornings around 615/630. The staff always greets me in the morning and the facility is always CLEAN, stocked with paper towels and spray. I am a black card member so I do use a lot of the perks that come with it (buddy pass, tanning, massage beds, etc.) I feel like the prices are very fair for the number of amenities. I feel very comfortable working out at this location.
